Fun Fact: More about me than crows. Whenever I see a murder or crows, or just a single one, I'll try talking it to fess up. For example, "Come on, I know you know where Itachi is. Caw once if he exists. I dare you." And they always stare back, and look so smart. It's kinda annoying, but sometimes I get unnerved by them. Its rude to have connections to the uchiha clan and not say anything, ya know?

Today I walked to school with my mom and dog. Before we went our separate ways, she entrusted with me a halloween sized bag of sour patch kids. This was a mistake. She told me to take it to the front office as she had volunteered for my home-coming dance to bring in candy. Not a huge task since it was left after all the other chaperoning spots had been taken. Anyways, I didn't take it to the office. I ate so much and gave even more to my friends in my classes. It was really fun actually. Unsurprisingly, she bought other bags to bring, knowing that I would not complete the task given to me. And she was valid in that judgment. I love sour patch watermelon, classic, and especially the jumbo sized ones. Yum! („• ֊ •„)

Walked to school. Learned stuff. Talked to friends. Then after, I went to book club and we went around the school hanging up posters my friend and I made last week. After that we all chatted, I read some more. I walked back home very slowly because I was tired. Then did homework. Which I'm still doing...(⇀‸↼‶)

Its been around three months since I updated this blog. And unfortunately I didn't get to go on the school trip to Japan last summer. I unexpectedly got sick a few weeks prior and was in the hospital recovering by the time the airplane left the ground. It really bummed me out since I saved a bunch of money and was super excited and all. I ended up having to quit my job too. Things were bad for a while which is why I didn't feel like touching the topic. My friends went and had a nice time from what I heard. Moving forward, I decided that overworking myself to afford the trip made it so that I couldn't even go at all. Now that I've recovered I don't want to rush into anything. While preparing for life after highschool, I'm planning on working and studying for the JPLT N2 exam, so that I can increase my prospects a bit before deciding what to do next. After all the ups and downs school has put me through, I'm still glad I tried and worked hard. I don't regret it, however I won't be pushing myself anymore. Might as well enjoy my last year while I'm at it. As for this blog related to the trip to Japan. Hopefully I can keep it updated with how I work on my Japanese proficiency and plans for going to school abroad there.

I hope spending time with family relieves some of your stress:( Today I went to school as usual. In environmental science we used microscopes to look closer at the organisms in our terrariums. The only organisms in my jar were decomposing mushrooms that smelled horrendous. The table group beside mine had a dead ant and a weird centipede thingy. It was cool to go over and look at it, but I was more excited to talk to a new friend who sits there. He has a Power from chainsawman, Tomo from azumanga daioh, and Hatsune Miku pin on his backpack! That's what we talked about during our first conversation anyways. He's very nice so I hope to get closer to him.

That's too bad about the steam railway gala. Congrats on the good check-up! Lately I've been more talkative and animated at school. Last year I always had headphones on and didn't reach out much. Usually sleeping on my desk. In contrast to this year, its a big change. I've been making new friends, working on myself and health, and even hanging out after school. Today, I hung out with a fellow book club member at the library after school. Unexpectedly our table became packed, some friends were playing dress to impress on roblox as we worked. After we got starbucks. It was really fun. Looking back, I would always go to the same library after school alone, I feel resentful about the lively friend groups. But now, I just feel grateful for the kind people around me.

Outside of anime, I really enjoy reading romance novels. Especially ones that include fantasy themes. My backpack is always so heavy since I'm carrying novels, manga, and textbooks. Such a pain. Other than that, I spend a lot of time painting and drawing. I don't draw anime fanart at all, so I don' t think it counts. But, I've inked some manga and as time consuming as it was, it was also exciting to do.

I'm reading the Japanese edition of Gokugakurai and its so good. The art is godly omg.

I've been feeling more optimistic lately. Happy! Yay!

I'm feeling excited because my teacher encouraged me to submit an AP art portfolio of my comics. It was nerve-wracking when she looked through the manga I drew over summer, but she actually liked them! Besides from that giddiness, I'm tired and can't wait for Friday tomorrow. („• ֊ •„)

Today I cleaned my kitchen, watered the plants, and now I'm drawing! Planning to go to the gym later today to work on my core and do some cardio. Other than that, school is starting soon so I gotta prep for that. This year I'm taking AP art and japanese, which is super exciting(─‿‿─)
