  1. "Someone like you who's let his soul rot, can't measure up to someone with a real soul just by getting some power." - Dante (Devil May Cry: The Animated Series)
  2. I'm feeling really good right now because of talking to a couple of friends today. Well, Saturday anyway, since it's 3am I guess today doesn't mean Saturday anymore. lol ^^; @Sakura definitely knows how to make me laugh, that's for sure. XD She always brightens any bad day I have, just like my big sis' used to do when she was still here. ^^ So, I'm feeling better than I have in a while after laughing so much that my cheeks started to hurt. rofl So, I'm feeling much better after she lifted my spirits to- I mean Saturday, going into early Sunday morning. ^^
  3. I understand. More than you might think since I've got an official diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenic. If you close yourself off from everyone though, you'll only make yourself lonely and maybe even depressed. It's up to you of course whether or not you decide to do that, but I'm just trying to give some helpful advice.
  4. Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition I've re-started the game from the beginning. It's an interesting story so far. The game starts out with Yuri who's from the Lower Quarter of the Imperial Capital, Zaphias, trying to track down someone that stole a blastia core from where he lives that has the effect of cleaning the river water so that it's drinkable and able to be used safely. Unfortunately, this has led to a pretty big misunderstanding with him being jailed for 10 days. It doesn't take long for him to jailbreak though because his town needs that blastia core for safe water. The Royal Quarter of the Imperial Capital, Zaphias, unsurprisingly doesn't make the situation a priority, so it's up to Yuri to catch the thief. He met Estellise (he started using the nickname Estella for her) in the castle when he snuck into it to pursue the thief, but found 2 knights (with 3 more on the way) cornering her and the situation looked pretty bad for her. Naturally, Yuri knocked out 2 of the guards and there was a battle with the other 3. It didn't take long for Estella to fight alongside Yuri though. Yuri and Estella know a knight by the name of Flynn who she needs to talk to to the point of pointing a sword at 2 guards to try to find him on her own until Yuri helped her out. Yuri took Estella to Flynn's room so she could tell him what she needed to tell him because she thinks he's in danger, but she hasn't shared why she thinks that just yet. After the 2 went in Flynn's room so Estella could tell him what she needed to tell him only to find the room empty, some crazed lunatic misidentified Yuri as Flynn and tried to kill him in battle. His name is Zagi, and he's seriously a lunatic who seems to love to thrill of a challenging battle to the death. Reminds me of a Saiyan, only crazy. After Yuri and Estella weather Zagi's attacks and the fight concludes, Estella wanted Yuri to fix Flynn's door since Zagi broke it down. lol Surprisingly, Yuri repaired the door before they left. After Estella and Yuri escape from the castle, they both leave for their own reasons. Estella's reason is telling Flynn he's in danger or at least what she knows about the thread towards his life. Yuri left to try to catch a mage who used the name Mordio and get that blastia core back that cleans the water for the Lower Quarter in the Imperial City, Zaphias. Yuri was joined by his companion, Repede, as he and Estella were being chased by one last knight. Repede took him down though before he got too close and rejoined Yuri after the two had split up to rendezvous later on after Yuri was arrested. Right now I'm just grinding for a bit around the area surrounding Zaphias. I've found a traveling Inn nearby to rest the party and replenish their TP and HP. The first night was for free, but I can't remember if there's a price or not after that. Either way, it's not too costly. I like Repede though. I want a dog exactly like him. lol
  5. It's ok, man, I know what it feels like to be depressed and not really know for sure who I could or couldn't trust. When I get that way is when my paranoia problem heightens, but if I don't get that paranoid then I know I can trust the people that have a place in my heart. You've still got a place in my heart, too, Som. I'll still be your friend. Nobody should have to start wondering whether or not they could trust people. It's enough to potentially drive someone insane. Believe me, I've been there. Even if your irl friends have vanished, you can always find me on here as long as AF is up and running. ^^ Are you really depressed right now because of most of your friends disappearing?
  6. After mom let me buy Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition on Switch I kind of just kept playing it, so that's why I haven't been on AF much in the past few days. So far, I've just finished getting to Nor Harbor and finally caught up with Flynn. He sure was quick to swing his sword at Yuri though all over a wanted poster. o.o It's an awesome story so far. I love the voice casting of the characters. There's 2 free DLC for the Switch version of Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition which were free after I bought the game itself in the Nintendo eShop. They came in very handy. Right now I'm at the point in the game where Estelle explained the situation to Flynn so he's at least not trying to lop off Yuri's head anymore, but damn, dude, that's how you greet an old friend? He seems like some kind of purist when it comes to Imperial Law(s) being broken, no matter what the reasons which Yuri had well-intended reasons of catching a thief that took something from where he lived in the Empire that messed up the water there. Something magic called a blastia. I'm still not entirely sure what they are, but the story itself and the character development is amazing. This ranks at the top right next to Nier: Automata for my favorite games. ^^ ^^ I've got a feeling the story's just begun though.
  7. Mom bought me Tales of Vesperi: Definitive Edition on Switch which I'm thoroughly enjoying. I love everything about it so far. ^^ Definitely one of the best games I've played to date. Oh, and I had to get it from the Nintendo eShop which was, unfortunately, after it went on sale for $9 and the sale ended, so she had to pay $50. There was a lot of begging involved, but I also kind of kept reminding her because she has a bad memory like me. ^^; AWESOME GAME!!!!
  8. No. Mom wants me to lose weight, but I don't really care if I do or not. I don't think I ever really cared about dieting if I'm being honest. Whether I live long or not isn't something that I particularly care about either way. Have you ever been to a demolition derby?
  9. Front Mission 1st Remake: I've had all the wanzer pilots in the Canyon Crows mercenary group train their Short weapons category proficiency level to 22 which took a while but it was fun to do. Oh, Meihua learned the Melee Skill First (Level 2) which sometimes combines with Double which is just devastating to any opponent. I swear to God, I'm in love with that woman. lol I'll have her learn the last Melee Skill that there is to learn now which is: Stun. When First activates is when Meihua can attack with her Melee weapons first before the opponent. Very handy for fighting units with guns since gun attacks usually go before any Melee retaliation happens. Stun basically has the same effect for a few turns that a taser has on a person. They can't do anything which means they can't attack (I don't know if they'd still be able to move around the map or not though) which leaves them pretty much as sitting ducks. lol After that, I'll have Meihua learn the only Long category weapons proficiency Skill that there is to learn: Guide, which aims the Long-range missile/rocket attacks at certain a specific part of the wanzer they're targeting with such weapons. Most of the other characters have learned the Short category weapons proficiency level Skill called Duel which targets any part of the targeted wanzer. I wasn't expecting it to activate with every use of a gun attack though. o.o SWEETNESSSSSSSS!!!!!!! Level 1 of the skill comes with a lot of accuracy loss, Level 2 has less of an accuracy penalty, Level 3 hits most of the time, and Level 4 hits 100% of the time. So far, only some characters have leveled up their Duel to Level 3 and I can't train them in that skill for the ones that are at Duel Level 1 and Short weapons proficiency 22 without making them even stronger which I don't want to do just yet at this early point in the game. I've finished up training every pilot but Meihua because I wanted to save the best for last so I could enjoy watching her obliterate wanzer parts with such viciousness. ^^ Time to train Meihua's Melee proficiency level to the point where she learns Stun, followed by training her Long range weapon proficiency level to the point where she learns Guide. Ohh man, this's going to be funnnnnn~ ^^)
  10. I never would've thought rats even could giggle. It just never seemed like they were physically capable of something like that. Just goes to show though: don't judge a book by its cover, right?
  11. Yeah, if I'm feeling creative enough to do it. I've got a sketchpad I draw my weird, abstract stuff in. I messed up one of the projects I was working on though because it wasn't symmetrical at all. I can't seem to draw anything with any kind of symmetry. lol Do you use mods in games or do you not use mods?
  12. Omg lol That would be so nasty~ XD I gift you Rick's spaceship from Rick & Morty~ (Don't ask how I got it x.x)
  13. The last thing I drank was a Dragon Fruit flavored energy drink mix powder in a water bottle. I'm planning on staying up all night~ ^^ ^^ GAME TIME!!!! lol
  14. Before I'm Dead - Kidneythieves (Claymore AMV - Teresa and Clare Tribute)
  15. I'd rather be a werewolf. Big sis' was the vampire fan, but I've always been more partial to werewolves myself. I thought about saying I'd rather be a vampire, but that'd be big sis' talking. So, I figured I'd stick with werewolf so the both of us kind of cover both areas. ^^ I am starting to wonder why I'm thinking about her so much more frequently lately though. Would you rather have an ability of phasing through any physical material at will or the ability to teleport at will anywhere you could picture in your mind?
