  1. I'm sorry to hear it, my friend. That happens to mom and her husband probably more than they tell me. Hopefully your new credit card's delivery will be swift. ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^
  2. It must be because of my gullibility and naivete, but I actually believed they really did that. lol ^^; ^^; ^^; ^^;
  3. A stress reliever ball to squeeze as much as you need or want to when you're overwhelmed~~ ;.; ;.; ;.; ;.;
  4. I hope the weekend will be more relaxing, li'l sis'. ;.; ;.; ;.; ;.; I didn't think your work load would be so much. o.o o.o o.o o.o It always sucks how demanding schoolwork can be. If you ever feel up to calling you know I'm not going anywhere. It's totally cool though if you don't feel up to it because you must be exhausted beyond exhausted. I definitely hope you can kick back and relax this weekend though. < 3
  5. It looks like you're thoroughly enjoying making GFX projects after trying your hand at it. ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ All of them look as good as ever which has me thinking you must be a natural for it. ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^
  6. The Lunatics Have Taken Over The Asylum - Collide (Dance performance to the song - btw you should really read the video description because it's pretty informative, but of course this video isn't mine in any way, I'm just posting the video here.) This is probably my favorite, or at least one of my favorite, songs by Collide. I was looking for any AMVs to this song, but I found this among some other music videos other people made and liked how the dancer, Faeri Choquette, flowed with the music. I also like the message of this song by Collide, but I'm not sure if it's because I think it's a funny thing to happen in an asylum or because it's something I understand and would probably dream of happening every day if I was in an asylum.
  7. The latest things I got I ordered from Amazon which were Final Fantasy VII: On the Way to a Smile (which is a book that has information about what happens after the original game, but before the Advent Children movie. I only need the original story, I don't want to buy the FFVII Remake and then have to buy 2 more just to finish the same story. Oh, and I bought The Last Remnant Remastered for my Switch which I'm not positive, but I think it's only available in the eShop. I've got the guide for the original one, but I never got to use it because apparently I sold it before I ever got to play it. >< >< >< >< The guide refers to Xbox button controls, but I just needed to write where which button would be on the Switch on a page of notebook paper which has apparently made the the buttons the guide refers to a lot easier to interpret to my Switch's controls. It's an AWESOME game!!!! There's a big brother in it whose little sister was kidnapped who he's trying to find and save. It's kind of how it felt when Jackie was trapped in a toxic relationship with one of the creepiest and vile scum of the Earth guys that I've ever heard of who was, unfortunately, the guy she had to try to get away from which she shortly died after doing so and coming to live with us... It really felt like she was held captive by that guy since he was so abusive... So, at least in The Last Remnant Remastered I can at least imagine being able to save my sister when she was taken from us. It's a fun game. In a lot of ways it reminds me of Final Fantasy XII. Its graphics are GORGEOUS!!!! I'm really glad I still have the guide to that game since a remastered game is basically just the same game with some enhancements instead of a remake. It's my new favorite game. ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ Well, at least lately. I guess I've got a lot of favorite games. ^^; ^^; ^^; ^^;
  8. Excellent projects, li'l sis'. ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^
  9. You're most welcome. ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ Take your time btw, y'know I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. lol < 3
  10. Your projects are as jaw-dropping as ever, that's for sure, li'l sis'. ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^
  11. I've been meaning to post in here, but things in my mind haven't made it easy to remember things, so my memory is even worse than it used to be lately. I think all of your GFX projects are exceptional, my friend. ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ I look forward to seeing your future projects. ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^
  12. Primal Concrete Sledge - Pantera (Dragon Ball Z Movie 07: "Super Android 13!" AMV)
  13. That's pretty cool, so you won't miss out or anything like that. ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^
  14. Crystar: There's an older sister trying to revive her little sister after a soul which absorbed other souls turned into a Revenant pulled both of them into Purgatory which is apparently the place all souls go in this game. Rei got extremely angry at the Revenant called Anamnesis, but unfortunately I can't actually remember all of what happened, but Rei was angry to the point that she couldn't think clearly (I think it was because she thought Anamnesis killed her little sister, but I think she was still alive), so, Rei attacked in a blind rage, but she ended up killing her little sister, Mirai. Rei obviously didn't mean to do that, but nobody thinks things through when they're so mad they see red. So, I don't remember when exactly, but at some point early in the story the managers of Purgatory, Mephes and Pheles, got Rei to sign a contract to be an Executer which is living people who can travel to Purgatory via a brand on their body that's significant to them and still return to the living world. Executers try to kill every Revenant and Specter (I forgot what a Specter is, but it might be a less powerful version of a Revenant) they possibly can. Rei's motivation for doing so is to Revive her little sister, Mirai, before she reaches the Cogs of Renewel which are at the end of Purgatory and basically destroy everything of who had the soul and re-uses the soul for Reincarnation. If Revenants and Specters absorb enough souls (they can apparently absorb living souls, too) then they can be Revived, too, but the managers of Purgatory have Executers try to keep them from accomplishing that. Mirai is deep in Purgatory though, so Rei is in a race against time which she didn't know at first to find and Revive Mirai before her soul ends up at the Cogs of Renewel. Fortunately, the Revival of Mirai has been approved by Mephes and Pheles, the managers of Purgatory, but they seem to be kind of more in the background because I still haven't seen either of them directly interfere with any Revenants or Specters, leaving it entirely up to the Executers as far as I know at this point. So, Rei has to find Mirai's soul before she gets Reincarnated at the Cogs of Renewel. I still don't entirely understand what an Idea is in the game, so I might have to actually find out more about that online, but I -think- somehow they're used for Revival, but that's just my own assumption. I'll look up what an Idea in this game can be used for next time. Oh, and the way it's pronounced in the game is "id-ee-uh," so it's not said how you might think it's said. ^^; ^^; ^^; The characters in the game so far I've learned of and 2 of which are fellow Executers just like Rei have decided to assist her in Purgatory. Both of them have their own stories as well, but they're pretty intricate. The following information is from https://spike-chunsoft.com/CRYSTAR/character/ along with some additional information I've observed of the characters while playing the game which is what I've been deferring to (that website) for information mainly of when other Executers join Rei just in case there's any that could be missed if I do something wrong in the game which I don't even know if that's possible or they all end up joining Rei no matter what. The managers of Purgatory, like always, simply employ Executers to destroy the Revenants and Specters for them. Or at least based on what I've seen so far up to this point in the game. Rei Hatada (VA: Brianna Knickerbocker): Height: 145cm (4’9”) Birthday: March 8th Blood Type: AB Motif Gemstone: Aquamarine/Amethyst Symbol: Unicorn Design: RIUICHI The protagonist who fights in Purgatory to bestow Revival to the sister she killed. The story isn’t about saving the world, but pursuing her ego as she wishes to bring her sister back to life. Despite facing despair and weeping over her weakness and uncertainty, she has the strength to press on. Though quiet and serious, when she becomes emotional she demonstrates an intensity that’s directly opposed to her usual, soft-spoken demeanor. She is capable of doing anything to protect those she cares for. Mirai Hatada (VA: Michelle Marie): Height: 139cm (4’7”) Birthday: July 12th Blood Type: O Motif Gemstone: Ruby/Bixbite Symbol: ??? Design: RIUICHI She is dragged into Purgatory by a certain Revenant along with her sister, Rei. Rei loses her sense of self and, out of control, ends up attacking her. The story revolves around Rei’s quest to bestow Revival to her sister. Mephis (VA: Cassandra Lee Morris): Height: 138cm (4’6”) Birthday: August 28th Blood Type: ??? Motif Gemstone: Agate/Sun Stone Symbol: ??? Design: RIUICHI One of the managers of Purgatory who collect the crystallized form of tears known as Idea. The dogmatic type who speaks with archaic phrasing. (She's the calmer, less overall creepy one between the 2 managers.) Pheles (VA: Jackie Lastra): Height: 138cm (4’6”) Birthday: August 28th Blood Type: ??? Motif Gemstone: Jade/Peridot Symbol: ??? Design: RIUICHI One of the managers of Purgatory who collect the crystallized form of tears known as Idea. The creepy, unstable type. Kokoro Fudoji (VA: Skyler Davenport): Height: 167cm (5’6”) Birthday: September 23rd Blood Type: A Motif Gemstone: Sapphire/Ametrine Symbol: Dog Design: ntny In-game Illustration: RIUICHI A living woman who teams up with Rei in Purgatory. She is an Executor and has a Guardian named Diogenes. Her child and the man she loved were killed by Anamnesis. She battles in Purgatory, obsessed with getting revenge on Anamnesis. However, she usually is kind and cheerful, the older-sister type who likes cute, young girls. Sen Megumiba (VA: Cherami Leigh (I had to Google that character's voice actress because the website didn't have her name listed)): Height: 158cm (5’2”) Birthday: January 6th Blood Type: A Motif Gemstone: Garnet/Star Garnet Symbol: Lion Design: RIUICHI A living girl who teams up with Rei in Purgatory. She is an Executor and has a Guardian named Socrates. Sen is the sole survivor of a major accident in which she lost her beloved mother. Thanks to the influence of her father, who is a prosecutor, Sen values the law and justice above all else. She fights in Purgatory as a way to pursue the justice she believes in. Anamnesis (VA: Laura Post): Height: 162cm (5'3") Birthday: August 29th Blood Type: O Motif Gemstone: Amethyst/Iolite Symbol: Bat Design: RIUICHI A humanoid Revenant who drags Rei and Mirai into Purgatory. She causes Rei to kill Mirai. Anamnesis seeks Mirai's Soul as it wanders through Purgatory. An enemy deeply connected to Rei by fate, they cross paths many times throughout Rei's journey to the depths of Purgatory. Nanana (VA: Kayli Mills): Height: 135cm (4’5”) Birthday: November 22nd Blood Type: B Motif Gemstone: Topaz/Yellow Opal Symbol: Bird Design: ntny In-game Illustration: RIUICHI I'm not going to copy and paste the information because it has a spoiler which I really didn't want to know before it happened in the game, but she's a Revenant that Rei, Kokoro, and Sen have encountered who's really frickin powerful. After playing the game more I'll give more information regarding her, but for now she's an extremely unstable Revenant with the demeanor of a child which is really weird to hear her say the things she says which really do remind me of what a child would say. o.0 At the point in the game I'm at though, she's really interested in Rei and wants to fight her, even though Nanana calls that "playing" due to her child-like behavior. Very odd to hear her talk like that when she's so damn powerful. o.0 Heraclitus (VA: Armen Taylor) Motif Gemstone: Aquamarine Symbol: Unicorn Design: RIUICHI Rei's Guardian and the manifestation of her Soul. A special being who is able to understand human speech, unlike the Guardians of Rei's companions. There's 2 remaining characters to list, but I haven't encountered them yet, so when I do get to that point in the story I'll post about them. I did find some information regarding Revenants and Specters on that website that I'll copy and paste though: Specter: When the living die their Souls may fragment, which results in them being reborn with a broken self-consciousness. Unlike other Souls, Specters appear as aberrants based on the manifestations of their Idea. Due to their incomplete Souls, they cannot speak and are very aggressive. Revenant: Specters that have completely recovered their self-consciousness. They have halos over their heads. Unlike regular Specters, these ones are capable of speaking. They focus on obtaining Revival by using an ability known as Soul Drain on other Revenants or on living beings. And here's some information about what an Idea is in the game, taken from an AI overview of the search results: What is an Idea? An Idea is a crystallization of Rei's negative emotions, particularly her tears. Why are Ideas important? The Demon Twins, Mephis and Pheles, prize Ideas because they can be used to save Mirai's soul. How to collect Ideas? Rei collects Ideas by defeating Revenants, tormented souls in Purgatory, and collecting their "Memoirs of the Dead". What happens with Ideas? Rei can purify the Ideas she collects with her tears and transform them into Sentiments. These Sentiments can be equipped by the girls to increase their abilities. I'll go back to playing the game now~~ ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^
  15. Ohh, ok. It's pretty cool that you're still good to go to classes at school, but what about the work courses afterwords, will they pick up where you were last time or will you need to hit the ground running and they won't do those courses you missed again?
