I guess it might be because nobody really has much to talk about. Kind of strange, since I am usually bugged by email notifications.

I've turned off that, fortunately, since there'll be tons of notifications spamming my inbox otherwise. Then again, I rarely check my mail, so it's hardly a problem either. :P

I check my email regularly, due to ordering stuff online, tracking subscriptions, and notices from my web host. I should probably turn off email notices too.
