Thank you, yes! I feel like Run with the Wind is incredibly underrated. One of the primary things I love about the anime is that the cast is indeed outside the standard age circle. It was interesting to see age, paired with various types of lifestyles, come together in terms of physical/health abilities.
I actually have Ace of Diamond on my list of anime to watch. It does look super intriguing, will definitely check it out. Enjoyed Yowamushi Pedal too, it's also one of my favorites! Good taste.
The Sports genre is always fun, never get tired of it. Another mature and surprisingly grounded show is Salaryman's Club. It does anatomical articulation really well. The characters have age brackets between early 20's to mid 30's, which is also a nice perspective in the storytelling. I'm curious to see if the tone holds up because the anime is pretty new. Hopefully it does well!
wah! Yaaaaas!!!! There was a character who was actually torn about joining job fairs and joining the runs and I kinda was intrigued of how it will unfold. It really has a mature tackle and I can relate more to it since I am in that point in life too. Hihi.
Thanks for the compliment
I haven’t seen the latest season of the Yowamushi no Pedal though because I have this tendency of putting on hold animes that really catches my attention and I can’t get over the fact of not seeing more after finishing the latest season
Oooh, I have to check out Salaryman’s Club! Thanks for the recommendation! -

Run with the Wind is my current favorite.
yes!!! I think it’s very realistic compared to a lot of Sports Anime that I’ve seen so far and I’ve seen quite a few. It gives off a mature vibe as well since it’s a Sports anime with characters in their young adult stage of life. Have you seen Diamond no Ace or Yowamushi Pedal perhaps? I think those are worth to give a try. Although they’re kind of long.

Been watching the series since the beginning I must say the story is very well written second season hasn't disappointed hopefully we get a third season
I think the Manga is bound to be animated until the end especially since the Anime is really well-received by the audience. I just think that the ending was kinda rushed since the Mangaka seemed to have some personal struggles on her side. But the ending is still promising and I can’t wait for the Blacksmith Village arc

That's quite of a responsibility. As for me crushes are platonic feelings and taking care of kids is sure not my thing. While it is a pity situation I do think there are plenty of ways to settle the situation and as I young adult who is still in college I still need to study. Quite selfish yes. *Slurps down pudding*

Mine was definitely Kaito from Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch. Waaaah, I really find him attractive especially with his white undershirt and opened akai-polo shirt AND him being a surfer with a lot of wet looks is jussssssstttt (。♡‿♡。) waaah, I'm fangirling too much (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

I'm actually just on my second year of my Bachelor of Arts in Nursing. It's kind of like my premed course buuuuut let's just see where the wind will take a lazy potato like meeee. *Slurps down some pudding* Anyways, it sure is not easy and I have to like practice insertion of needles to my friends but more specifically on my brother (idk, if he's having a good time especially with the intradermal a.k.a skin testing). But I do love my course although it takes too much of my time soooo I rarely watch animes for now although I sneak in a lot of detective conan episodes every now and then soo that's why I've been very inactive in the anime section and here too.

I had to look up mine as well and it came as Rabbit.
Not sure how accurate it is, but this is the description I got.
Rabbits tend to be gentle, quiet, elegant, and alert as well as quick, skillful, kind, patient, and very responsible. However, they might be superficial, stubborn, melancholy, and overly-discreet.
As for compatibility listings, which I do not care too much about, this is what I got.
Best with: Rat, Goat, Monkey, Dog, and Pig
Worst with: Rooster and Snake
@brycec I'm in the year of the rabbit as well! Yayyyy! Usagi-chan!

Weelll, Nursing school doesn't have summer breaks. HAHAHA So I'm pretty much stuck tending mannequins during the summer. XD I do hope I can insert in some anime watching.

The only thing I didn't quite understand was that whole 'growing your hair long only if you're pregnant' thing. What happened to Maquia?
Yes, I was confused on what actually happened to her. Did she got pregnant? Cause she did grew her hair.
SpoilerWahhhhhhhhhhh, It was very dramatic and sad and really melts my heart. All the characters were relatable. My heart really exploded when Ariel finally called her Oka-san and his last words. He was waiting for her to finally come back. The longing, the regret and finally welcoming someone back. I also felt sad for Krim even though he kind of played the Antagonist role and gone kind of berserk about Leilia. "Why is it? Leilia and Maquia. Why has time moved forward?" UWU I was really strucked. He was the only one who couldn't move on from the past. Leilia and Maquia had more things to worry about. I couldn't take it all in in just one watch sooooo I had to rewatch it two times to let it finally sink in to me. The movie's feelings and the ironic encounters really gets to me and somehow I can really relate it with real life. Like it's normal for children to go away soon after they became adults and somehow for our parents it's a bittersweet moment to let them go and let them feel independent and that they are finally ready for the world.
P.S.
I didn't know there is a spoiler option now. Wooooah. Sugoii! I've been away for long lels

In watching animes, I actually base what I'm going to watch base on the plot of the anime (especially ones that really piques my interest and something unusual for ONCE in a while) and there are some animes that I've just discovered through some friends' recommendations. I did come to realize that I am particularly drawn to slice of life animes maybe because I am curious with Japanese culture and such and I think it's a subarashii way to learn new things. *eats pudding* Well, TMI moment here. uwu

Does real life friends found in the internet counts? Cause I actually met up wwith some online friends a couple of days back and we sometimes hang out once in a while since we just found out that we live in the same city which was totally mind blowing for me. Though, I already had some real life friends (those I didn't meet online) who were interested in anime.

Well, it's not that interesting. Rye is accidentally the first three letters of my real name so a lot of people call me Rye and I got the potato from my brother who usually calls me a potato due to the fact that he thinks I'm round like a potato.
Or deformed. I like Fries so it gives justification in a way.
Plus Rye and Potato just sounds good together. Well in my case. It's just a matter of getting used to it.

Lets see our Drawings!
in The Arts~ Discussion
Posted
Hi! Nice drawings! I loved it! I’d like to share mine as well.
I don’t draw much nowadays but drawing anime sure is kind of stress relieving and enjoyable at the same time. The first one is supposed to be Zoro from One Piece since I am binge watching it nowadays and the second one is actually Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke. I dunno if they are recognizable though.
