A comfort character is a fictional character that provides one with a sense of security and relief - the character you think of when you are experiencing difficult times.
This is not the same as a husbando, waifu, or general favorite character.
So, who are your anime comfort characters?
Mine are Corazon and Killer from One Piece
Dumb & Dumber is my favorite movie of all time. I have seen it more times than I can count and every time I re-watch it, it makes me happy because I will never not find that movie to be hilarious. It also makes me feel a bit nostalgic because the first time I watched it was when I was a child.
@TWIST.BY.KORN Annoying, lazy, and overrated are not genres.
But to add my two cents…My least favorite genres are shoujo, mecha, harem (and reverse harem), and sport.
Mine is organizing/cleaning. My first job in high school required me to clean a lot and thoroughly. I used to dislike it but as time went by, I realized that, not only did I enjoy that sort of thing, but I had knack for it. I’m still good at it so I consider tan at my talent.
I started Tokyo Ghoul. I know that’s a popular one.
I also dropped Shangri-La Frontier. It’s just not for me. It’s boring and I’ve stated this before but I am not a fan of video game anime.
I was listening to Spotify and a nostalgic memory was unlocked when the song Locked Away by R. City (feat. Maroon 5) played. That song was released a decade ago lol but it’s fire.
I got called off of work by my boss because I had nothing booked. After I got the news, I went back to bed and slept for another four hours. I ate a late lunch and then started a new anime.
I don’t think that Black Clover is disliked but I have heard plenty of people give it flack. I’ve heard everything from it being unoriginal to boring. I definitely don’t agree. I think it’s great.
I just completed the Netflix exclusive anime Sirius. It was good! The ending was satisfactory for the most part but I wish there was a second season.
I just started Shangri-La Frontier. I am on season 1 episode 5.
