You need to OMG it's such a great Anime! :D Ah that's good then i'm glad you understand now :) OMG i hate cliffhangers there so annoying! I love it when a story is resolved :)

    It looks interesting! Adding it to my list of animes for when I have some free time to binge ^^ and yes! Cliffhangers are especially terrible when the series is ongoing and I have to wait... ^^;

Yes OMG same! :D I love Anime with all my heart! :3

I'm not sure yet... :/ I may buy Boku wa Tomodachi  (I have no friends) it's a fantastic Anime and it really moved me allot :D Thank you very much! :D glad to be here :) Yeah i see what you mean, you don't mind studying but in that case you really don't want to care about studying, but you do it's okay Lol xD OMG thank you, i didn't think people would not be bothered about this topic, but Thank you so much! :D

Hey it's okay :) sorry i didn't explain properly. Basically Story outline means there's always a beginning and an end to a story if that makes sense :)

I haven't watched/read that one yet, but it looks good! I will probably check it out later ^^

No, no need to apologize :) I totally get it now. I am not a person who likes cliffhangers and appreciate when stories are resolved too ^^

OMG same! Talking about manga, i'm actually thinking of buying my first ever Manga! :D I only started to getting in to Anime properly back in january Lol xD I am very looking forward to reading Manga!! :D OMG exams suck the worst :( hate them with a passion. Yes of course there is always an Anime out there, that people will like or have some kind of resemblance to! OMG same Anime is like Heaven on earth :) Yes exactly, it can be our strength to move on when things are tough, it can be our ticket to a new life! or it can inspire people to make things, or inspire people to do better!

that's why i love Anime!! :D I also love the story outlines involved in Animes! :)

OMG yes yes yes same here! :) Anime is just everything to me!

Really~? What manga are you thinking about getting? Well, welcome to the anime family! As for exams, I feel the same way. I know that they are necessary, and while I don't hate studying at all, I really don't like that in a way, potential of a student is determined by them (sorry, bit of a rant there lol). I am really happy that you posted this topic because it's a nice space for people to appreciate and share their happiness with anime!

Story outlines? What do you mean by this? (sorry, English is not my strong point lol) :)

  4. I think every one studies differently and has a method that works best for them. For me, I know that I am a visual/spacial learner so before quizzes or exams, I will organize/summarize my notes in different colors on different colored paper. Beside each topic, I usually draw something small as well (helps relieve stress of studying and makes it fun at times). During the exam, I can remember where the topic was on the page and what color I wrote it in/on which helps get my mind going on how to answer the question. The little doodle comes to mind as well and remembering it is sometimes encouraging. I guess this is a bit obscure, but it would be nice for you to find the way your mind works and organize studying around that.

General advice would just be to maintain your health and stress levels and try to utilize your time before the exam/quiz such that no matter what happens after you are done, you will have done your best with little regret. :) Good luck on the quiz/exam~!

  5. Yeah, I can totally relate! It's not just weird or strange days, but I find that watching anime or reading manga can brighten my mood if I've had a boring or terrible day also. You bring up a good point that it does depend on the type of anime or manga - I think I binged Psycho-PASS when I was totally procrastinating for an exam and it actually made me think about a lot of stuff in addition to encouraging me to study in a strange turn of events lol. I think there is an anime or manga out there for every mood and I totally agree with you that I will never get bored of anime! It has the power to move a lot of people in different ways which I feel is its appeal and strength ^^

  6. Yeah, I totally understand! After I watch an anime or read some manga, depending on the genre, I feel inspired to look at life differently. I watch a lot of romance anime and because most characters are so relentlessly positive, I want to try my best also. The effects don't last super long, but it's always encouraging :) maybe that's why I'm hooked ;)

  7. Hmm~ This is difficult. I love most animals, but I think my favorites would have to be octopuses or turtles. As for pets, I love cats, but am allergic to them. It makes me pretty sad, but I want a shiba inu later in life <3

I'm what you'd call a newbie fujoshi. I've watched only ONE yaoi anime, and it's Love Stage. I don't know if this makes me a fujoshi. And I dropped Love Stage after eight episodes too...

So, yeah, just dropped in to say hi! I'm not watching any anime right now (except for Himouto! Umaru-chan... Meh, that can wait.) so I'd really love it if I got some recommendations.

    Please take care of me!

Hi hi~! Love Stage is an adorable BL ^^ If you'd like recommendations, I would suggest Hitorijime My Hero or Gravitation! They're both cute and way up there on my favorites.

I’m bored so if you wanna talk please message me

Dunno if you're still bored, but I am now bored, so I am also up for a discussion ^^

  10. I felt the same way in the past. I have also been on a lot of online forums and also some fanfiction sites, and it was hard for me to reach out to people or leave comments. Once I started, people were certainly receptive to talking, but even if they did respond, that didn't guarantee friendship. I guess what I am trying to say is to just be active in commenting (like the person ^ said) on things that you like because friendships, for me at least, usually start with being mutually excited about something and from there, having certain similarities in interests. :) It's hard, but it's certainly worth doing!

On another note, I assume you're on this site because you like anime/manga/games/Japanese culture and I am also new around here, so I'd be happy if we could talk too!

Well, the ones that I have are Enchanted in the Moonlight and Her Love in the Force.  Both are mobile games and you pay per storyline (for instance, you want to do Chikage's story you pay for his story, then if you want to continue you pay for the sequel, then so on).  It can get very expensive, especially if you want to do them all, buy additional short stories and all, but I really enjoyed them and once you buy them they are yours to keep and replay whenever (you can transfer them from device to device too with a code, hence the reason mine ended up on my tablet where I know I will never delete it out of a need for more GB space for updates).  My favorite is definitely Enchanted in the Moonlight.  I wish I had more games like this, but for a long time I just didn't have time but that will not stop me in the future.  There was another one, but it's name escapes me right now.

There is a PS4 game I want to get Code: Realize ~Bouquet of Rainbows~ but I didn't grab it when I should have and now I'm going to have to order it online if I want a physical copy.  Through Otome Games, I have realized that I have a "type" that I look for....hahaha.....never thought I had one before but now in reflection, I realized that most of my favorite characters in anime fit that type....  Oh my.  Anyways, if you decide to do Enchanted in the Moonlight, I implore you to not do Kiryu? (the dragon guy) as your first playthrough as it is really out there and might make you turn and run LOL.

Sounds interesting to me :) I will check those out! I am working this summer so I know what some of that money will go towards~

Oh nice! I have a PS4 so super relevant. Yeah, otome games tend to have that effect ^^ I also have a type that for some reason is totally not the same as what I like irl, but it is fun to poke around and experience different things. lol okay, thanks for the suggestion with Kiryu. I am a completionist so I will probably end up tackling that route at some point

Thanks so much for your suggestions!! ^^

Ahhh that sounds like fun! If you don't mind, let me know what game it is!

Haha, when I posted a similar topic months ago no one knew what an otome game was...

I like our new forum members ^_^

I'm happy others know what they are! Do you have a favorite?

I've played a few of them.. Though my favorite game of that like is Mystic Messenger by Cheritz

I haven't played that one~ but I like these games a lot so I want to check it out now :)

  14. My father was a gamer when he was a university student so the first game I ever got to play was Cyraid on the original GameBoy. Obviously, it cannot compare to games that come after it on newer platforms, but from the experience that my brother and I had playing it and considering the time frame, I would rate it 7/10. I am partial to strategy games, but this was fun to pass the time :)

  15. Persona 5 (PS4)

I am playing NG+ and have been trying to spend time with confidants I missed the first time around. I spent my time horribly during my first run, but this game has so much to offer, I couldn't pass up another run through~
