Closest I can think of to the two you mentioned are Flowers of Evil & Scum’s Wish. If youre open to something more comedic/lighthearted maybe We Never Learn or Quintessential Quintuplets. My personal faves when it comes to RomComs are Recovery of an MMO Junkie & ReLIFE, though I’m not sure either is really what you’re looking for.

Not sure if “shameful” or “shameless” is the vest word to describe Yuki’s brother as he comes across as being even more of a handful than Haru :lol: I pity the poor teachers who had him & Shigure as students together. Funny that Hatori was/is assigned to keep him out of trouble. -
The series seemed to get quite a bit of criticism, mainly on 2 points: 1) it being a fairly generic shonen series & 2) the MC being annoying, especially his voice. While I agree on both points and dropped it fairly early on, but there’s a very good chance I’ll give it another try someday (certainly a better chance than Naruto or Radiant)

We Never Learn (Bokuben) is getting another season in October. Something of a guilty pleasure as it’s a harem comedy, but I’m enjoying it

Not really. Nature seems to be what’s trying to kill me :lol: I’ll look into it though. A daily Claritin seems to keep things under control most of the time while allowing me to remain functional, but seems like there’s always a couple days out of the year when it isn’t enough, though I never seem to be able to predict it

Has been in the low 90’s F the past couple days, and supposed to continue for the foreseeable future. Was thinking that 23 seemed comparable to winter here, then I noticed the C ... 73F sounds nice for winter, but I kinda worry what summer must be like

Agree with this as well. What’s particularly troubling is when you point out the very real safety and security concerns the solutions they propose are the same as the ones for older technology that still haven’t proven effective. Invariably the final argument is “Well it’s going to happen whether you like it or not so just accept it or get left behind”. THAT’S annoying.

Just finished watching the season finale. The last fight proved to be underwhelming, but it redeemed itself somewhat with the sentiment in the 2nd half of the episode. I’ll probably post some more indepth comments once I’ve had some time to reflect on things and put my thoughts in order. Another season is almost inevitable, but that will probably be next year at the earliest. As it stands this will be my #2 or #3 for the season depending on the next episode of AoT.

Hyped for Isekai Quartet getting another season with new “transfer students” (fingers crossed for characters from Shield Hero or Reincarnated as a Slime)

Just finished watching episode 12. Predictably the 4 MCs had to make use of their special talents to overcome the final boss (even Subaru was useful :lol: ). One thing I was confused by And the final scene promises the introduction of transfer students in season 2 ... yeah that’s right (maybe we’ll get to see Naofumi or Rimuru afterall)

It’s fairly recent but there’s a series called Hakata Tonkatsu Ramens that I recommend to anyone who likes Durarara, Bacanno or Black Lagoon. A word of warning it is pretty violent and has a very dark sense of humor.
