Yeah, there were several new series Crunchyroll didn’t get this season. I think you would like it. The MC is kind of a caricature of Naofumi (very blunt about offending people by letting them know he doesn’t trust or need them). The companion Goddess’ over the top reactions make it largely comedic though However I accidentally found out ahead of time that there’s a pretty dark reason for why he’s that way. There’ve already been some clues about it and hints of a more serious tone down the road (kinda like Trigun after you learned Vash’s backstory). Of the season’s new series it’s probably the most promising.

Hunter x Hunter does have some common elements. Soul Eater has a similar feel to me. And Tiger & Bunny is another anime that deals with Super Heroes.

Rainy, but temps aren’t too bad (currently in the 40s)

The gifts angle definitely means a lot more when there are kids involved. If a grown up really wants or needs something they tend to go buy it instead of waiting on the off chance someone will go buy it for them. For my sister & brother-in-law I usually buy a practical gift and then a sentimental (or funny) gift. As far as my wish list though, would still like a Nintendo Switch (of course then I would need more time and money for the games )

Fairy Tail, 7 Deadly Sins & Radiant come to mind. Not really like One Piece, but some of my favorite shonen include Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba), My Hero Academia, Ushio & Tora and Buso Renkin.

It’s a shame how much a crappy dub can ruin a show.

I don’t expect Deku to bow out anytime soon, afterall All Might has practically been a walking corpse for who knows how long and the rapidness of his decline was more a result of passing on his power. Plus Deku is already realizing that All Might’s method of just overpowering your opponent by pushing past your physical limits isn’t going to work for him. He’ll just need to figure out more strategic and innovative ways to use his power, which he has already started to do.

They’re predicting weird weather for Halloween: Temps around 60 & rain all morning. Then becoming windy & dropping into the 20s for the first time this season overnight. Not supposed to make it out of the 40s all weekend.
