  1. The 2nd OVA is supposed to be available on CR sometime tomorrow. And this one is supposed to pick up where season 2 left off instead of being a recap https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2019/09/23-1/mob-psycho-100-ii-ova-hits-up-the-hot-spring-on-crunchyroll-this-week
  2. It was fun seeing what kocho was like when she was younger. Clearly she admired her sister very much, as her current personality incorporates many of her traits. She’s definitely a sly one, the way she motivates Inosuke & Zenitsu to train. We also gain some insight into why her apprentice seems so withdrawn There were also a lot of laughs. Funniest moment for me was when Inosuke In many ways it felt like this week’s episode would have been a perfect stopping point for the season, but there’s one more. Wonder if it will end on a cliffhanger.
  3. So season 2 will be sometime during 2020. That’s a pretty broad window, but still good to know. And as long as they maintain the quality, it’s worth the wait. As to the episode itself: very appropriate with the various members of the Soma clan trying to come to terms with their evolving relationships to each other. And it f course Tohru is the catalyst for most of that change. Though it seems certain some of it will be painful. Being unfamiliar with the manga, it’ll all be new to me. They also tease the appearance of new characters who seem like will be important Anyway, pretty sure this will be my #2 for the season (8/10)
  4. Today’s the final episode of season 1 and will introduce Isuzu (the horse of the zodiac). There’s also supposed to be an announcement afterwards (hopefully when we can expect season 2)
  5. Crunchyroll, Hulu & Funimation. Take your pick.
  6. Just got back from watching Promare. Definitely the sort of visual spectacle you expect from Trigger with several nods to Gurrenn Lagann. Unfortunately as far as characterizations and story, pretty much on the same level as the live action Transformers movies.  The music was pretty cool though.

  7. Just took this quiz over on Crunchyroll https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-feature/2019/09/19-1/quiz-which-pokmon-in-ash-ketchums-original-team-are-you

And came up as Bulbasaur. Have to say it matched my personality better than most 😂

      i got butterfree ...ok

  8. Just bought a ticket to go see Promare in theater Thursday night.

  9. I may not know much about where the story goes from this point, but this was undoubtedly a pivotal moment as Tohru sees Kyo at his most vulnerable and gains some insight into why he acts the way he does.
  10. Personally I enjoy this series more when the emphasis is on helping individuals solve their problems or realize their dreams than on the big picture of restoring civilization. And Suika is adorable
  11. The first 2/3 of this week’s episode was largely comedic with Zenitsu being his usual spastic self & Inosuke regaining much of his former belligerence. Meanwhile Tanjiro is awestruck at how much more advanced Kocho’s apprentice is by comparison. The final third focuses on Kocho opening up to Tanjiro about what motivates her Can only imagine this makes @Seshi happy Still 2 more episodes to go.
  12. So far it’s only the first cour (12 episodes) available on Netflix. That’s still surprisingly fast for them, since the second cour is currently airing in Japan. So hopefully they won’t make us wait long.
  13. I’m up through episode 7. Pretty enjoyable if you’re looking for a feel good series with some humor and satire mixed in.
  14. Loving your new avi 🤩

Well I started re-watching Demon Slayer today.. cuz damn, I love that show. But going to do it again after dub is out, lol so maybe too soon.

      When I saw Makomo, I couldn't resist.

We sort of match now  @Muco 😊

  15. Have to agree that the emphasis of the series is on what a bleak and violent time it takes place in. A “happy ending” seems unlikely or at the very least a long time coming and at a high price. I like Askeladd’s character as well. He may be a cynical opportunist and no doubt there’s plenty of blood on his hands, but he’s quite willing to treat Thorfinn as part of the crew as long as he’s useful. Ironically Bjorn (the one who took him hostage) is the other character who seems most willing to accept him. Pretty sure I’ll see this one through to the end, but may binge instead of following weekly (currently on another 30 day trial of Prime)
  16. Started watching this earlier in the week snd am through episode 8. Agree with what everyone else has said about how well it is written & animated. Probably my #3 for currently airing series. My biggest problem is I really don’t like the MC. Seems like he’s either being as hot headed as Bakugo or sulking. Can’t really blame it on his dad’s death since he was showing those traits from the start he’s going down the path his dad tried to protect him from. Yeah, it’s the whole viking code of honor thing, but doesn’t change that he’s working with the very people who killed him and not covertly. Yllsa seems to be doing a much better job of continuing the legacy he wanted to leave behind by out doing most of the men in the village. No wonder they see her as prime viking waifu candidate
  17. Just heard he passed away. Definitely have good memories of some of his songs growing up

  19. If you do a reverse image search through Google, sometimes it will list different sizes for the image and you can pick one with a smaller size. There also sites and programs that let you modify the size, but I don’t have much experience with them.
  20. Shonen = targeting a younger male audience (usually action focused) chibi = Cute caricature character design style (think bobble heads) waifu = anime girl you wish you could marry (husbando is male equivalent) sempai = in a school setting, someone in a higher grade. Outside if school setting, someone with seniority or more experience ecchi = sexy (implied perverted but not as strong as hentai) yandere = psycho girlfriend/boyfriend or stalker
  21. MHA or BNHA = My Hero Academia AoT = Attack on Titan SAO = Sword Art Online SoL = slice of life CGDCT = cute girls doing cute things Danmachi = Is it Wrong to Pick up Girls in a Dungeon Not sure how familiar you are with anime terms (shonen, chibi, waifu, sempai, ecchi, yandere, etc...) Anything you don’t understand, feel free to ask here or Google.
  22. Welcome to the forums, glad you found your way here As far as recommendations Shonen: My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba) Fantasy: Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Slice of Life: Azumanga Daioh, Yuru Camp Romcom: Recovery of an MMO Junkie, Monthly Girls Nozaki-kun Psychological: Death Note Coolness: Cowboy Bebop, Gurren Lagann
  23. I like Kohaku & Chrome (heck, even Suika) better than Senku While electricity may be necessary to make a cure for Ruri, can’t help but think those lights will attract unwanted attention. I doubt Tsukasa will put much trust in Gen. On a related note, there was no sign or mention of Oaf and his gf, though they were supposed to infiltrate Tsukasa’s tribe. Hope it doesn’t portend something ominous.
