I may not know much about where the story goes from this point, but this was undoubtedly a pivotal moment as Tohru sees Kyo at his most vulnerable and gains some insight into why he acts the way he does.

Personally I enjoy this series more when the emphasis is on helping individuals solve their problems or realize their dreams than on the big picture of restoring civilization. And Suika is adorable

The first 2/3 of this week’s episode was largely comedic with Zenitsu being his usual spastic self & Inosuke regaining much of his former belligerence. Meanwhile Tanjiro is awestruck at how much more advanced Kocho’s apprentice is by comparison. The final third focuses on Kocho opening up to Tanjiro about what motivates her Can only imagine this makes @Seshi happy Still 2 more episodes to go.

So far it’s only the first cour (12 episodes) available on Netflix. That’s still surprisingly fast for them, since the second cour is currently airing in Japan. So hopefully they won’t make us wait long.

I’m up through episode 7. Pretty enjoyable if you’re looking for a feel good series with some humor and satire mixed in.

Have to agree that the emphasis of the series is on what a bleak and violent time it takes place in. A “happy ending” seems unlikely or at the very least a long time coming and at a high price. I like Askeladd’s character as well. He may be a cynical opportunist and no doubt there’s plenty of blood on his hands, but he’s quite willing to treat Thorfinn as part of the crew as long as he’s useful. Ironically Bjorn (the one who took him hostage) is the other character who seems most willing to accept him. Pretty sure I’ll see this one through to the end, but may binge instead of following weekly (currently on another 30 day trial of Prime)

Started watching this earlier in the week snd am through episode 8. Agree with what everyone else has said about how well it is written & animated. Probably my #3 for currently airing series. My biggest problem is I really don’t like the MC. Seems like he’s either being as hot headed as Bakugo or sulking. Can’t really blame it on his dad’s death since he was showing those traits from the start he’s going down the path his dad tried to protect him from. Yeah, it’s the whole viking code of honor thing, but doesn’t change that he’s working with the very people who killed him and not covertly. Yllsa seems to be doing a much better job of continuing the legacy he wanted to leave behind by out doing most of the men in the village. No wonder they see her as prime viking waifu candidate

If you do a reverse image search through Google, sometimes it will list different sizes for the image and you can pick one with a smaller size. There also sites and programs that let you modify the size, but I don’t have much experience with them.

Shonen = targeting a younger male audience (usually action focused) chibi = Cute caricature character design style (think bobble heads) waifu = anime girl you wish you could marry (husbando is male equivalent) sempai = in a school setting, someone in a higher grade. Outside if school setting, someone with seniority or more experience ecchi = sexy (implied perverted but not as strong as hentai) yandere = psycho girlfriend/boyfriend or stalker

I like Kohaku & Chrome (heck, even Suika) better than Senku While electricity may be necessary to make a cure for Ruri, can’t help but think those lights will attract unwanted attention. I doubt Tsukasa will put much trust in Gen. On a related note, there was no sign or mention of Oaf and his gf, though they were supposed to infiltrate Tsukasa’s tribe. Hope it doesn’t portend something ominous.

It has a coolness factor and was funny if you don’t mind some profanity and grossness. But was somewhat lacking in story and character development IMO.

Apparently Tanjiro felt the same Unfortunately it seems like if you’re strong enough you can get away with being a jerk. After gaining the benefit of the doubt, Tanjiro & Nezuko are reunited with their friends and allowed to begin recovering. I feel sorry for what they’re in store for based on next week’s title though. Hate to think what Kocho’s idea of physical therapy will be

I’m glad that it seems like the season will end on dealing with some of Kyo’s issues, as he’s my favorite of the male characters (even more so than Shigure). This week seemed like it was primarily setting the stage.

Welcome to the forums. Hope you enjoy it here There was a time I wasn’t even sure I would continue watching Demon Slayer, but it really picked up in the 2nd couer. I now consider it the best series this year. Of course I haven’t seen Vinland Saga (planning to start next month) & MHA 4 is still upcoming..

High Guardian Spice was going to be an American made “cartoon” marketed as a Crunchyroll Original series . It’s promotional video consisted of a handfull of conceptual drawings that looked like a Cartoon Network prospect and the creative staff raving about how “diverse” they were and how they were doing something revolutionary. Needless to say CR subscribers went ballistic. While a lot of the comments were hateful, there were also legitimate complaints and numerous people pointing out that CLAMP (an all female team) has been creating anime & manga for decades that appeal across gender boundaries. Not to mention A Place Further than the Universe & Yuru Camp (both with female centric casts) had received highly positive comments on the forums with practically no prelaunch promotion from CR. Not to mention many anime fans have an issue with western animation. Since then, nothing official has been released on the project. So stupid when they could’ve just put it on the Cartoon Hangover channel of VRV (same owners as CR) where it would fit in just fine.

It’s not as if those “free” sites are goodwill ambassadors spreading the love of anime. If they don’t charge fees or use ads, then they’re making money off you in a way you’re not aware of. None of which goes to the people actually making or working on the series you’re watching (unless you think they’re anonymously dropping off bags of money on their doorsteps). As far as High Guardian Spice, pretty sure not a single episode has seen the light of day.
