Welcome
Hope you find things to interest you here.Â
ÂFirst anime? Iâve always considered it to be Star Blazers (Space Battleship Yamato) back in the late 70s early 80s, even though some say it doesnât count since it was heavily edited & Americanized. Started watching more âauthenticâ anime in the mid 90s with titles like Ranma 1/2, Tenchi Muyo, Project A-ko & Slayers (all English dubbed). My first Japanese audio title was Cardcaptor Sakura, though Iâd previously bought some subtitled Slayers VHS tapes because I couldnât find dubbed. Converted to Japanese audio / English subtitled almost exclusively when I started buying DVDs & Blurays. Started using streaming services  to watch around 10 years ago.
Just post / comment on any topics that interest you, maybe even create some topics of your own if you think they might spark interest. Â Though I think they donât allow linking to pirate streaming sites (not talking about One Piece
 )
Hopefully this will put your mind at ease about rambling, the more activity the better actually

Finished May I Ask For One Final Thing. Starting out I thought it would be one of the seasonâs best, but wound up pretty average. Even the reveal about the main antagonist didnât really amount to anything.
Spy x Family season 3 - this closing arc has been one of the series best. One more episode to go.

Went ahead and bought the new bluray collection of the series, since the copy I already owned is the individual dvd releases from ADV Films 20 years agoÂ
 Since itâs one of my all time favorites, donât wont to risk losing it to disc rot or it getting pulled from streaming. Wouldâve been nice if it had some extra features or better packaging though.

Yeah, I donât have folks IRL who are into anime either. We donât have a lot of active members anymore, but hopefully youâll find things to interest you.

It depends on your sensitivities, but the Fruits Basket remake made me tear up on a regular basis through out itâs 3 year run.
Also I remember Figure 17 making me cry at times, especially towards the end.

The snow has started to fall & theyâre predicting around 6 inches by the time it stops. The biggest issue will be temperatures as theyâre predicting it will get to 0F (possibly below) overnight & stay frigid into early next week

Finally finished Racal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus. Honestly had a hard time staying interested in it. I think the next project is supposed to be a movie that wraps up the franchise. Probably a good thing since it seems like theyâve already resolved  the major story points.Â

My Hero Academia Final Season - with the big battle over, looks like the final 3 eps will be dedicated to the aftermath & everyoneâs attempts to recover & heal from their physical, psychological & emotional wounds. Even though this weekâs episode was named after the Todoroki family, the most meaningful scene for me was between
ÂDeku, Bakugo & All Might
. Theyâd have to screw things up real bad over the next 2 eps for this not to wind up my Anime Of The Year.

The roads were mainly just wet with a bit of slush, but there was a good 5-6 inches of snow on my porch & car this morning. Not overly cold (around freezing all day) but supposed to be much colder later in the week.
