@deaaath seems like a pretty standard list for the most part. Though Uzumaki seemed kind of a surprise. Junji Ito has the reputation for being a master of Japanese horror, but personally find his work more weird & disgusting than actually scary. Several of the series listed were sequels so your friend may have some catching up to do if he decides to check them out. On the personal side there is some overlap with my tastes, but not a whole lot. Part of this may be due to some series may not have been confirmed at the time of the article. Thinking about checking this out https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2022-05-20/fathom-events-to-screen-macross-frontier-anime-films-in-u.s-in-june/.184316 Would be my first taste of the Macross franchise outside the original series (which was the basis for Robotech’s first arc) & the Macross Plus OVA I saw on Syfy channel several years ago. Only downside is there’s only a single showing for both & it’s on weeknights (Thursday). EDIT: Word of caution the synopsis for the films in the article contains potential spoilers.

I wasn’t a fan at first, but it’s really grown on me. Certainly a step above the typical isekai these days, particularly the characterizations.

Season 2 starts in July, though I’m not sure how delayed the dubbed version will be (would think HiDive makes it a priority though). I think my memory of it is still fresh enough I won’t need a review, though I think I need one for Overlord IV (may wind up waiting for that one to finish & binge it to make things easier to follow)

I’m sure JJK 0 will wind up on Crunchyroll eventually, but no specific idea of when. I would say by the end of the year, but that’s just a guess
