  1. We’ll have to wait another year, but a new season of The Apothecary Diaries & a movie are in the works https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2025-10-22/the-apothecary-diaries-anime-confirms-season-3-original-film-in-2026/.230197
  2. May I Ask For One Final Thing now THIS is how you do a Villainess anime
  3. Biggest issue is not that many active users still around. But I still try to post ocassionally & check in on things. I’m pretty much focused on seasonal titles in my current phase.
  4. @lacey_thekiller I’m not really a roleplayer, but welcome Hope you find things to interest you here. Just started & got current on MHA’s final season.
  5. Just started watching My Hero Academia’s final season & it has been absolute FIRE
  6. Assuming you want something similar: Claymore Goblin Slayer Clevatess Dororo Vinland Saga Blade of the Phantom Master
  7. While I believe anime is diverse enough that everyone can find something they enjoy, I don’t believe there is any singular title that will appeal to everyone. Also, romance isn’t really my forte. With the caveats out of the way my top 3 romance anime are: Fruits Basket (2019-21 version) • Kaguya-sama: Love is War • Insomniacs After School. I may post an additional 2 after having more time to think.
  8. I’m actually surprised Yotsuba never got an anime adaption.
  9. Yeah, it can be a challenge sometimes to discuss anime if you were never really a fan of “The Big Three”. I think part of it for me was my intro/biggest early influence when it comes to anime were Star Blazers & Robotech. Though now I’m more into fantasy/supernatural genres & SOL/CGDCT. I think the battle shonen I’ve seen the most of are My Hero Academia (glad it’s finally wrapping up) & Dragonball (had my fill of it after DBZ Kai & wish I had my time back from GT)
  10. I remember this one as well (nostalgia for my Tokyo Pop phase).
  11. Welcome Hope you find things to interest you here. For me it was following the death of my parents that I started appreciating more reflective/emotional anime (the Fruits Basket remake & My Roommate is a Cat come to mind). Though I still tend to not be into most purely drama focused or “realistic” anime.
  12. Welcome Hope you find things to interest you here. I’ve never been much into the shonen mega-series either (burned out on One Piece after about 150 episodes). Azumanga Daioh is one of my all time faves & my definitive SOL series. I found FLCL enjoyable but wish they’d stop trying to “catch lightning in a bottle” again, the sequels/follow-ups just don’t work.
  13. Requiem from the Darkness
  14. Betterman Shadows House Shiki Mieruko-chan Higurashi (When They Cry)
  15. I actually watched Green Snake before watching White Snake without realizing it was a sequel.
