Los Angeles city has shut down bars, nightclubs, movie theaters, gyms, and fitness centers.  Grocery stores, pharmacies, and food banks will remain open. Restaurants are allowed to serve take-out, but no dine-in service.

Santa Monica ordered the temporary closure of its pier.

Even some Las Vegas casinos are shutting down.

If nothing else the economic fallout from all this will be significant.

The filing deadline for California state taxes has been moved back two months to June 15th.  When the government delays taking your money you know things are getting serious! 

Alright, well I managed to get *some* sleep last night after checking my bedroom thoroughly to make sure there were no demonic entities or vampiric intruders. Geez, I never would have thought that an anime about vampires would freak me out so much but the animation in Shiki is just so damn unnerving! 

So Shiki has taken a few episodes for me to warm up to it but now that I have, it's getting pretty creepy.

On the 5th episode of Shiki & I'm so freaked out that I'm almost shaking & I think I heard something outside my window! This is going to be a long night LOL!

Thanks for the anime rec. I watched the first few episodes of Ascendance of a bookworm. I like how determined Maine is to find a book also her random life improvement moments hahah. The closing song is really soothing!

What anime should i consider watching next ?

Thinking I might try out either Death Note, Shiki, or Paranoia Agent after I get done with Terra Formars tonight.

Why? Why do I continue to get attached to characters in these battle animes knowing full well they could die at any time? Don't I ever learn!?!

I find it extremely rude that it's not March 20th yet.
