I think more people need to hear this; there's more anime out there than we will ever experience in a lifetime. We will all reach an age where we can't keep up with what's new anymore. The sooner you realize this, the easier it to prioritize what you like. That said, never be afraid to get out of your comfort zone, either.

I'm only starting to feel comfortable around the word "waifu" again. There's still a lot of apprehension on my part, however.

An incident made me turned off from the mere mention of the word. I went from proudly calling Amitie my "waifu" to refusing to call her such because I felt like I'd be insulting her doing so. I still adore her, but as you can see, that's exactly why I stopped. I still kinda feel like calling her my waifu is more insulting her than anything.

Happy late birthday, Optic! Hope you enjoyed it. What was I gonna type? Oh, right, I thought of something. You see my favorite character, Amitie, right? And the HDN series as a whole presumably have your favorites. Why do I bring them up? I just realized that Amitie and Nep-Nep essentially rose from the ashes of the same company, Compile, albiet in different ways.

My brother once told me of a site for buying anime...but I'm pretty well convinced most, if not all of their selection are bootlegs.

Huh. I think I like Animax's Cardcaptor Sakura dub. I don't know if the dub was made in the 90s, but it has a 90s feel to it, which fits.

Looking at the reviews for Animax's dub of Carcaptor Sakura...wow, are opinions all over the place. Guess I'll just have to watch for myself

Every single original Xbox controller I ever owned had something wrong with it. I'm thinking I'll just buy a PS2-Xbox adapter instead.

Having seen both English dubs of Castle of Cagliostro...I don't know if I prefer the older or newer dub; I like 'em both!

I decided or order Lupin III (Green Jacket). Figure after Castle of Cagliostro, I should start with the original anime, at least.

Don't you just love it when bootleg DVDs are the only reasonably priced ones available? It's happened to me, creating dilemmas.

Got the first volume of the Dimension W manga; franchise seems interesting, but I'm afraid I won't watch the anime until the DVD comes out.
