We once had neighbors who would play salsa music up until 3 or 4am almost every day. Thing was we couldn't really do anything because they had small children and where living in social housing, so unless they threatened to kill you and being locked away as a result, it was close to impossible to evict them. At some point we kinda got used to it. It was quite an unusual family to say the least.

Quite a complex situation. I think what your parents did was wrong, but I don't think that they had any malicious intent. I can't see why they would wan't to wreck your life on purpose. Reconciliation would be great, but that is easier said than done.

Let me clear up a misunderstanding here I did a lot of sports and had quite an aptitude for it but nowadays can't find the time.

@brycec Nah I don't think so. I prefer the dub, and I also think it'll be interesting for the others to look in retrospect what we wonder will happen. I actually had thought about asking if everyone has access or can watch the sub before, but forgot.

You know what. Since Seshi and Ohiotaku are both watching the sub version, I'll just watch the dub so we have two people who watch the sub and can comment before, and two people who watch the dub and can comment afterwards and also look what the sub people commented. So I have watched episode 22 in sub, and will wait for the next one as a dub.

Not as action packed as the last ones, but I enjoyed this week's episode as well. I don't know why I had such reservations against anime based on games (or in a game setting). Maybe it was because I disliked it in Hunter x Hunter, but I think it's well made in Shield Hero.

@VampireKnight19 You mean the SNES mini? I saw some deals for it I don't know when, where they sold it for 50 bucks (44 pounds). Still a lot especially if you have children though. There are some decent games on the mini, although I think it lacks some other phenomenal games.

@Seshi It's more complicated than that, but to make it short it is a bought apartment (not one I rent). To move, I'd have to sell it first, which takes a lot of bureaucracy (including civil law notary which you first have to hire and what not) and time. So anyway I put it, I'll be stuck.

@Seshi I have hot water in general, but I can't use the shower because, apparently, one of the pipes that leads away from the shower burst. So they turned off that part of the water supply (the shower) to avoid the walls filling with water (not just in my apartment). So they have to exchange the pipe, but since that pipe is not part of my apartment (or anyone's apartment) we can't fix it, but the apartment complex management has to. Now I just heard that apparently they are not even close to fixing it (and I have not seen a single plumber car or person). So, who knows how long it will take. Really annoying not knowing when it'll be fixed.

@Kinbaryu you can't imagine how much that would annoy me. that is a major pet peeve of mine. Just heard that the repairs of the pipe damage which they said beginning of last week would take about a week to fix has not even begun. The heck were those administration people doing for over a week. How I hate bureaucracy.

@Banri Hadn't heard of it, but it looks interesting. I've seen others who build similar things using raspberry pie chips and self-made cases, but nothing commercial. There's a decent collection of games in this Evercade (a few I actually owned as cartridges). I'll probably have to pass on this though because it is too pricey for me. If I ever get a better paid job or if it's ever on sale I'll come back to it though Not that I actually have to time to game nowadays Should you ever get it, post some reviews though!

Since you live in the UK, it's quite difficult for some other users to tell where they will be available for you. Crunchyroll here in Europe has much less anime than the US Crunchyroll. There are a number of different platforms that offer anime. For example, if you want to watch the currently airing Shield Hero, you can find it subbed (with subtitles) or dubbed (with English voices) here https://www.crunchyroll.com/the-rising-of-the-shield-hero If you are a free user, there will be ads at some points in the video (if you have a decent adblocker for your browser they get skipped though), and you have to wait one more week for the latest episode compared to paying users. But it's great as a legal free platform for many anime. If you like the site, you can also see what it is like for non-free users by using their 14-day trial. If you have the money you could then buy monthly subscriptions. If you don't have the money there are non-legal alternatives which more or less offer everything. But these are not legal and we can't post them here.
