I don't go to theaters as a general rule as it is.  Overpriced as all hell.  I opt for watching at home.  The argument that going to an anime movie creates community might be valid, but frankly, you could get an even better community experience out of a properly run convention.

I think it’s also a fantastic way to support the filmmakers too.

I wanted to go see Broly when it came out, but we rarely get to go to the movies at all. This was recent, too. I hope we see more anime titles here. I’d love to go see the Demon Slayer movie if it comes to theatres, no question.

Tell us something funny that happened and resulted in your injury. It can be something pitiful, like mine: I broke my foot stepping the wrong way playing laser tag. Or it can be something you did that started with the famous last words “hold my beer”.

That’s too cute, I love anime with characters who are close like sisters

I think this could work for a plot if something like, the mom had her daughter and was transported through time into the future where her daughter is now a young adult.

She could try to befriend her and go on dates together, or be renting the same apartment or something.

I’ve always thought Alexandria was a cool name. Well since I played FF9, anyway.

Now I like names with meanings, like Lilliana - beauty & purity.

the one thing is that its future is bright, as many light novels and mangas are being made into anime, one manga I would like to be made into a anime is Isekai Cheat Survival Meshi, as it is interesting.

That sounds like a great concept. I'd love to see that one too, though if they can reign in the harem concept. But okay, looks like you're off to a great start then.

I think it’s wonderful that you’re doing a panel, no doubt some of our members here have done them in the past. Ohiotaku sure had some useful additions.

What kinds of discussion points did you have in mind?

Will you be naming series that are popular? And of those, if they have done the genre justice?

I know this can err on opinion, so perhaps not. But if so, The Rising of the Shield Hero (released this year) was tops for me. Accel World , although older was another good one, it got me started on the genre. 

There are so many that don’t do it justice, but are still popular. Sword art online being criticized for being one of them. Although this may be old news to some who have been watching anime for a while. It may be a good discussion topic for your attendees, since nearly everyone will have an opinion on the matter. 

@Beocat what do you think? I know you’ve been to a few panels before.

Yeah, Demon Slayer is releasing like that right now. But I still wouldn’t buy them like that, even if I plan to own them when they all release. 

So my hubby and I parked our car at Walmart and I saw a flying insect in the car. 

I rescued it, throwing it into the air and as soon as I said “be free” a seagull swooped in and ate him. such is a bugs life I suppose.
