What I think you're describing is an ecchi anime. They tend to have more plot.

Honestly same Ohiotaku, the dad is annoying af.. But his daughters chara is funny. The starbucks scene with her was great.

I pour a half glass of milk and dunk 3/4 of the oreo in until its just about to break apart from softness. Testing softness is done by lightly wagging the oreo in the milk to see how heavy it's become from soaking. After eating about 3 I polish off the glass of milk. Very satisfying. Recently discovered birthday cake cream oreos. Very nice

So far I've had the chance to see the first eps of Kahushigoto, Tamayomi and Tower of God (ToG). I was pleasantly surprised by ToG, which I initially thought would be too off putting due to the way the synopsis sounded. It ended up being an interesting enough plot for me to want to see it through. The fantasy elements were brought to life in an intriguing way, even though the art is not what I'm accustomed to. It pulls its source from a webcomic apparently, so that makes the art more toonish than anime like. Still pleasant enough for me. Kakushigoto was nothing like what I expected from the synopsis and trailer. It seemed to have a more heavy atmosphere in the trailer, but the show itself is rather lighthearted and comedic. I am not a huge fan of comedy but Ill probably still watch this one since its only 1 cour. Tamayomi was my favorite so far, although the art was far different from the manga, I still found it appealing in its own way. The characters designs remind me of K-on charas and I can get along with that moe style. This series is fun, its emotional and the plot itself is going to keep me coming back to see these characters grow. 3 more days til fruits basket!

Tamayomiiiiii cant wait to see ep 1 of all my new seasonals. Kakushigoto comes out tomorrow =3

10/10 for this season. I think I've got up 1 point for each season so far Slowly becoming a fangirl.

If you haven't seen Overlord yet, id definitely recommend. Along the same lines as HxH is Yuu yuu hakusho but its an older anime so may not be your thing. Its made by the same author so you'll see similarities.

I ended up dropping my score from a 9/10 in early eps to an 8/10 in the end, simply because the ridiculous amount of one sidedness to the skill distribution. Sort of became gimmicky rather than the pure fun that it started out to be.
