Tea talk

I put milk in all of my teas except herbal, herbals I like with a large helping of Honey.

Most commonly I’ll drink Black tea about 3 times a day. It helps me have energy and also mellow out.

Cookies are a nice addition but also not always on hand sadly.. I run out rather fast when I have them with my tea.

Favorite cookie with black tea is the Lotus tea biscuit. Yummy

Anyone else Digging the Rising of the shield hero’s OP? I’m watching dubbed right now (Crazy for me but the translation pretty good, and Incan watch with hubby) but the song is like half in English? Or is it just so fast and all in English? Idk but I can only make out some of the words and I like the song a lot.

Found this picture frame decor at the resale store and repainted it to go in my sitting room. Took like 10 minutes so not too shabby I think.

While the shorter seasons are ok for SoL and comedies, anything with a larger story really needs at least 25 or so to not feel rushed IMO.

Well I’m not sure how long shield hero’s first season is to be, but I was actually feeling like the story got put back on track as far as timeline and plot go, for the coming wave battle, if that going to mark the end of the season that’d be fine with me.

Well there’s a whole sub reddit devoted to haters of SAO and probably elsewhere.. lots of logs about it. I’d say you’re not missing anything so no worries 

I kind of have mixed feelings about being right to avoid it. One: I’m right that it wasn’t good (to me) but Two: Being right about anime decline

Yea dude, everyone is talking about it Little kids too... I had a yard sale a couple years ago and was getting rid of some old anime and this group of kids were all talking about SAO, like it was the new standard “must watch” anime, and then there’s my peers also talking about it.. ugh

I haven’t seen NGE either, but also have no interest in mecha these days. I used to love Gundam Wing & G gundam, & Zoids growing up, but for some reason I’m not into it now.

I also haven’t seen Ghost in the Shell, which now has its own live action movie? So probably worth watching?

Up until recently I’d been avoiding watching Sword Art Online because it was a “newer” and in my opinion newer anime had gotten worse and I’m picky to begin with... So after all the hype for it finally went away (after year) It was recommended to me by a friend So I watched episode 1.... I was so disappointed.. Hate it

The game is simple:

When celebrating birthdays as adults, what do you like to do?

Do you have separate celebrations with family and with friends?

Do you go out, or stay in for a house party?

Also for your children’s birthdays (if you have kids) what are some of those experiences that went well.

Lately I’ve been super blessed to have the opportunity to celebrate my birthday with friends near and dear. Last year I was taken out to a mani pedi, and dinner and (window) shopping at a clothing outlet. 

Things I’d love to do for a special occasion would be rock climbing, spa day, dessert festival, and visit new restaurants.

They help each other with grooming, but other than that they are complete opposites and I think that annoys each of them.

Boaz (my male) fluctuates between being super hyper and needing ALL the attention to being super chill, and Eve (female) is prissy and likes her own space.. so they kind of don’t get along often. They’ve learned to cope with it..

I collect money from countries I've visited. Also Silver spoons I should just take them out of their cases and eat with them...

I get that way too and agree Ren is the only tolerable one.

This series holds a lot of nostalgia for me, since I stopped playing my beloved RPGs - I kind of live vicariously through this show.

Who do you look most like in your family?

My sister just had a beautiful dark skinned baby, her boyfriends family are Native American, she looks Arian. The baby has blue eyes (for now) and black hair, and looks a lot like his grandma on dads side.

Ive read that Hazel eyes (like mine) come about from a parent having blue eyes (dominant) and another parent having dark eyes. So though a lot of babies are born with blue eyes, the color will change as melanin develops and they will turn hazel (in some cases). I’m guessing this will probably be the case for my new baby nephew.

I look most like my Dad, I seem to have gotten his genes in the physical department, but apparently a study was done where it was discovered that your intelligence comes from your mother. So I got half and half I guess.
