I want an high school romance… already in my second year though

I think we all dreamed of this kind of romance and honestly sometimes it's great and sometimes it's not. Some people find it and some people find it later in life and every one of the options is fine. Young love can come with a lot of hurt. I was lucky enough to find my fiancee in high school but at the same time, I went through downs before that. I know loads of peeps who didn't get into a relationship before college because well, it's honestly easier to find people more like you in such an open learning environment. So my advice for you is don't rush these things, make sure you find someone you like and who equally likes you back, a relationship isn't 50/50, it's 100/100. And if nobody in your life is like that then it's okay, you're saving yourself from a lot of unnecessary headaches.

sometimes i wish i could have a group of true friends. maybe high school could be more fun. maybe i could be more happy. no im certain i would.

I always personally found that the only "true" friends that have stuck with me for my whole life were ones I met in high school or grew up with, this limits it to around 4 people, and for them I really am grateful. As for many other people they just tend to come and go, people say University is where you meet your true friends for life but honestly, it's really hard to find that especially in our generation.

Really procrasniating my Spanish work placement report which I'll need done before my trip to Kili or I'll be fined 100 euro per month by the University and fail the year.... so many pages so little motivation.

I doubt anyone is wondering about this, however this former member's goodbye message makes a very serious accusation towards me, and I don't like misinformation. So here's what they're referring to!
"wants to redefine the meanings of words", they were questioning the existence of a "no LGBT-phobia" rule, I promptly explained it a few times, to no avail.
"to suit their own agenda", dear human... is an agenda meant to protect individuals from harassment a program that shouldn't be endorsed?
The conversation I had with this lad a few months ago is still intact, and should anyone request it, I'll happily distribute complete screenshots for you to see with your own eyes their suspicious and obnoxious terms.It's usually a shame to lose members like this, but frankly, I'm quite delighted that they did the job of sparing Anime Forums from themselves. It deserves better than members audaciously attacking rules that protect a core and innocent part of the community.
PS: they were planning on a more dramatic departure? Shoot, I should've set off all the fireworks in celebration... but they're not worth it.

It's crazy to me how much was going on behind the doors, I've been here on/off for my whole adolescence and I've seen so many people come and go. I never thought there was much drama in the place. I still believe this is a great place with a very surprisingly strong community, I've rarely had any issues with the way this place has been run.

Some long needed purging is being done all around the forums, a rogue moderator had been deleting posts and topics but that has been resolved for now. Soon I will be stepping in as new Community Manager, it's nigh time to rebuild and restore this charming site!

Flights are booked! I'll be living in Spain working (part of my degree) for 4 months in about a month!

Spain was my only main choice for working abroad in my degree so I was happy to taken the offer, better then being sent off to Donegal with no pay and having to find my own accomdation while trying to afford it, so when I got the offer to teach English through sports with it being payed work, free accomdation and free food for the week on the beatiful coasts of Spain I was more then happy to accept

got a call back for a job in a pizza place at last I finally thought I might have a job, they asked for me to bring my girlfriend with me because she's also looking for work (but never applied inside the pizza place), we got there and I basically got told they were only looking for female staff because they look better on the till so they had work for my girlfriend but not me. Pretty sure that's illegal here but okay.

I've put my CV into 12 places that have been "urgently looking for staff" 0 of them got back to me but continue to post about needing staff....

that's the annoying part tbh, in Ireland, being 19 means they can still pay me just under the minimum wage, and as I'm only going into my second year of my degree I have no qualifications in anything other then coaching stuff so I really don't understand why absolutely nowhere as contacted back. suppose I'll just have to throw it into everywhere else and hope I have something by the start of July

The places I've been putting them into are only summer job places though, cafes, restaurants looking for bar staff or waiting staff or retail companies looking for people to stack shelves. The only job I was looking for that would normally want people with experience (but this stated experience wasn't needed) was something I already have plenty of experience with. It's an absolute nightmare.

So, I randomly got back into anime out of nowhere! After not watching it for a long time and only watching a few movies now and again, I've decided to start watching new ones and rewatching SAO!

Well I was just flicking through Netflix trying to find something to stick on when I noticed SAO was there and it just made me remember how much I loved it when I watched it years ago, decided to stick it on and then decided to log back into Crunchyroll and saw "shikimori is not just a cutie" and decided to watch that!
