After watching Bunny Girl Senpai for 4 episodes - I have had the urge desire to try shoko sticks with energy drink as reference to the third episode. Honestly the anime cover was what kept me away from watching it until now but this was in the recommendation page of Just Because so I had to give it a chance. Just to find out that it has nothing to do with bunny girls. A little disappointment...okno.

I think the pretext of seasonal topics should be to give the people who are watching less anime a hint of what anime to take into consideration. It's actually a good transition into the annual threads but that's just my 2 cents on this. Unless there is no or a small amount of participation.
I have "A Place Further than the Universe" on my watch-list but haven't gotten around watching it yet.

Oh this is pretty cool. We should have something like that on AF as well.
Like Favorite Anime of the season, Favorite Character of the Season, Worst Anime of the Season etc.. would be nice if the moderators engage in creating these kind of topics which could potentially raise the activity on the forums.

Are you watching Diamond no Ace by any chance? (third season is airing right now - you might have heard of it) Been binge-watching for the past weeks, couldn't think I would enjoy it this much despite of the lack understanding of the game "strikes, ball, out, safe and so many other terminologies like curve ball, change-up etc", baseball sure is quite versatile.
Also baseball is popular in japan and this was the biggest surprise of all

@Seshi I like Haikyuu's art style but it took me sometime to get used to, is the art style of Mix the same or perhaps from same studio? Never heard of windup but right now I would watch anything related to baseball
@OhiotakuFollowing your reply I will give Hanebado a try, does it have any character development? (as long I don't cringe over the drama parts, it's alright)

Hinomaru Sumo might be the only one I would give a try. I wasn't giving it any chance at first and this just by looking at the cover photo, guess my 3 episode rule will come in handy. Or should i give it more episodes?
I tend to avoid any anime with too much fan service, unless that anime with girls in bikinis..i mean beach volleyball has a decent plot. Hanebado looks dope from the gif perspective, gotta look into it later on.

Diamond no Ace is pretty similar to Haikyuu in terms of character design. Don't tell me you are watching

I recall the cover photo of Mix but the art style is sadly not my cup of tea. Back a couple years ago, there was an anime called Battery (dont mind the MAL score haha) released and it was the first time I ever got an interest in baseball. I like these kind of sport anime due to the competitiveness and growth of the MC's.
Could be because I myself went to competitions when I was in high school and thus can relate to many things. Did you watch any soccer-related anime that you would recommend?
I like watching atypical anime since you are giving yourself the affirmation that you are not stuck in the mainstream loop.

Only nine episodes of Fairy Tail left. It’s almost over and i hope they make a possible spin off in the future. Maybe call it “The Adventures of Natsu and Happy”.

Watching Fairy gone and Dororo, both with a unique storyline and characters. Hopefully Fairy gone will develop into something great, cant wait for the next episodes. Considering they're not as known as The Rising Shield Hero or One Punch Man / Attack on Titan.
