    For me as well 😊

    - yea, if you don’t mind sharing what you had in mind representing the figure riding the horse? It seems to have a connotation towards spiritual truth (for me if the ending was slightly different - as to bring darkness into light, and the character not a female, I could see the figure as God)

But did you have Joan of Arc in mind perhaps?

I am not sure what one may understand by spiritual truth, maybe we have different words for the same idea.
What I meant to express, is the importance of staying true to what one believes is right, yet not shutting oneself from an outsider's views. Individuality and self determination are key elements of freedom, but these are only possible if one allows to listen what is outside beyond ourselves. Here, it is illustrated by the knight in bright and illusionary pure form, whereas it's truly doing harm by enforcing an extreme :

So clear and bright, it looked like a mirror in blaze,
Nigh she charged downhill, her lance like a shooting star would raze.

How could one imagine the knight to begin razing considering her depiction?

The beginning of the writing begins to make an allusion to the character's purity and supposed goodwill.
    When in fact :

The character is just a false construction of love, and a bringer of alternative hate. Where else does hate come from, if not being the extreme believe of love and will to protect something? This of course varies in terms of how genuine the person is, how conscious about themself they really are.

I loved the visual imagery you used for this “tale”. I’m still trying to pick apart it’s meaning, and am having a wonderful time - quite thought provoking. Thank you for sharing 💕

You are free to interpret it as you please, of course. That is poetry's greatest characteristic for me.
If you would want to see more in depth what it is I had in mind behind it, you may ask if you'd like.

  3. This is the tale of she who rode with a lance,
Swimming through midnight she would not glance,
Sturdy her horse, who falter did not given the chance.

White sparkling dust was elevated from the ground,
Not heroically, but elegantly at the top of the mound,
Neigh from afar, her presence calls upon dread around.

Hers was a clear visage, free of haze,
So clear and bright, it looked like a mirror in blaze,
Nigh she charged downhill, her lance like a shooting star would raze.

I may welcome you to Anime Forums. How nice that you draw and write poetry, you and I have that in common, along with social awkwardness and what not.

We had an issue with explicit PM spam a few weeks ago, and we believe it is dealt with. If you receive anything suspicious, do not hesitate to report it and the moderators may take part.

Wow, this poem is absolutely fantastic; in fact it is my favourite of your poems. It honestly filled me with wonder, I could just so vividly imagine your words coming to life, simply beautiful.

    I appreciate the kind words.

  6. Ciel à la une, tranche de lumière,
    rayons de Lune, à l'abri d'enfer,
    Moux air, nuisant votre vue,
c'est le rouge lever, de l'ère qui conclut,
À l'heure du ciel rouge, se gèle tout sang,
La lame en argent bouge, fission du vivant,

À genous tu me supplies, tout sachant
ton destin est rempli, tu n'iras plus en avant,
Ciel à la deux, encore tu respires,
L'air à noeuds, tu crains le pire.

Hello Cypher, welcome to Anime Forums.
One romance anime I would recommend is Kotoura-San. It has comedy, lovely romance, and some supernatural aspects.

This reminds me of the phlogiston theory. People tried to explain why some things get heavier when they are burned and tried to explain it by saying that something with negative mass is lost, thereby increasing mass. This was shown to not be the case.

Concerning mass, you should distinguish between mass and weight. Weight is what we usually mean by mass in everyday life. Mass in physical terms is hard to understand, because it is used in different ways. Generally, as far as I know negative energy/mass is used in a couple of theories but I don't know if there is any testable evidence on that.

    Maybe you'll find this interesting?

If you are really interested in it, and know higher maths, I can also send you the full article.

    Thank you for the comment.
I was having the differenciation of weight and mass in mind for the experiment, you are right that I should have made it clearer.
I will see what's on that link.

That's "Rye-Uh" btw... and hi, I'm new here! *waves* As I mentioned somewhere else, it has been a while since I participated in an online social anime website.  I never really have anyone to talk about anime or normal weird stuff on a regular basis. Maybe joining here will change that? Who knows, but I'm willing to find out! Thank you for having me!

    Welcome, Rye-Uh, to Anime Forums.

If weird subjects are what you like to chatter about, I am willingly all ears.

  10. One question that often raises to my mind is "Is it possible to have negative mass?".
Evidently, at first it sounds ridiculous, having less than nothing. But, from what I have heard, physics still work if you use a negative term for mass.

For instance, E=MC^2 [Where E is energy, M is mass, C is the fastest velocity]
Maybe this equation is an exception because the terms on the right side will always be positive, because of the "^2".
But for equation F=M*A [F is force, M is mass, A is acceleration] the idea suggests that an object can have be under a negative force.
I have thought, if you try to apply a force to an object with negative mass to push it in a direction, would it instead be pulled in the opposite direction?

    [Edit]

I think I made a mistake earlier, in E=MC^2 it isn’t only that C is squared, right? In that case, the result could indeed mean negative energy is also plausible.
