"There is a darling kitty-cat girl in the anime I am watching, I dyed my hair purple for now, I thought it would be cute like her!" - My oma, watching Soul Eater. Lord help me.

@Wodahs His opinion is irrelevant, Oma is a single independant woman who don't need no man... Lol and I dunno how purple would work out for me, I have black hair and I'd have to bleach it to heck and back if I wanted it to show. Really fries your poor strands.

S&P Beauty Water is an absolute godsend, I think it needs to be a staple in everyone's routine. First toner I have ever had that did exactly what it said it did (soooo smooooth!) Haven't played with the masks just yet but the propolis ampoule is alright. It's got a dropper so you can portion it and the portions you get are perfect. A little goes a long way and absorbs quickly. I tried a couple of the moisturiser samples (Nivea creamyboi is on its last legs,) and the hydra bomb... Felt amazing all day, loved it so much I actually ordered one.
I'll get around to the masks, I usually only do them once a week.
-
Oooh my toner is about to run out so I think I will try the beauty water since it has such high praise from you! Masks are usually hit or miss, but they're quite fun ^^ I've tried hydra bomb too! You won't regret buying the full size for sure
As always, would love to hear your thoughts on those masks as you try them! ^^ your haul is amazing tho and I am v jealous hahah

After several months of disappointment, I can finally report that my mission to fill myself up with baby has been a success! Feel like crap but I'm so happy! lol

Ebisuuuuuu....

Had the day off work, so I donated blood. Feels good.
Should do this more often.

As an O+, they don't much want my plasma. I just donate the red blood cells. It's easier for me because I can get my fluids back and I have a tendency to become faint (thanks past eating disorder,) but I feel great afterwards. When they take only the plasma, do you get your blood back? Or do they just separate it and take them both?

How do snail masks work out for you? Because I think it's my favourite so far out of this mask pack. I might have to get more. I tried the blueberry mask as well, and it smelled great, but somehow it was exceptionally more slimy than the snail mask? Anyway it took a looooong time to absorb after I peeled it off, and I had to use some wax strips and it kinda felt dry afterward, so I dunno about the blueberry mask. I'll probably try the green tea one next. There's also an aloe mask, but in my mind, aloe is for acne which I have never had problems with, so I think I'm actually going to donate it to a friend of mine and see if she likes it.
Also I got my second haul today with that aqua bomb and I absolutely geeked out when I opened the box... do you get unreasonably excited too, or am I just weird?
I think there are worse addictions, right? I'm still super jealous that you're going to Korea. Can I just sneak in your luggage?
-
Hey there! I am sorry for my super late reply - life has been super hectic lately. T^T To answer your question, the snail masks work great for me personally. They can be a little slimy as expected but that depends on the mask you end up buying also.
I have normal skin, but I want smoother, more glowy skin so they work great for that and I usually do them once a week or so. Let me know how the green tea ended up working for you please! ^^ I love all things green tea
Ohhhh my goodness. That sounds amazing and I am so so so jealous!! How has that been so far? And YES ABSOLUTELY I get excited!! I love skincare and it is super fun to me.
As for sneaking into my luggage... I won't tell anyone lol.

I heard you play games online; which ones do you play? (totally not being a stalker, promise.)

No, its not a Steam game. It's got its own thing. When I started playing in 2011, it was a lot easier to learn, only about 30 something characters to learn. But now the game has got a meta that changes almost weekly and 130+ champs you have to learn how to play with and against. Rough on noobs is an understatement lol

I'm stingy about spending money until we're talking Korean skincare products. I may have a problem...

Yep!! My friend uses that toner ^^ Her skin has always been so clear, but she says it's her secret weapon lol. (That, or her serum). Ahhh how are those masks?? I have never tried one. I've just been using Innisfree stuff for the past year or so~ (they're okay, but they smell pretty good ^^) I'm going to Korea next year actually with my best friend, but I agree. The secret stuff is all there~ That and I am really interested in seeing some of their procedures like laser skin treatment ^^
Yeeeesss.<3 I have heard of Dr. Jart but man do I need the money for that T^T Have you tried it?
-
WOW jealous, here. Hope it will be a fun time.
I haven't tried any of the masks I ordered yet, but I'll try to remember to report how it goes later. There's some aloe, propolis, green tea, snail, and a couple others, so I'll have a variety to sample. Innisfree has a lot of fruity masks which are fun but I only tried them once and they didn't go so well for me, sadly. That's all part of exploring your routine since one product can work differently from person to person since we all have different skin types. That's why sample packs exist! And yes, absolutely yes! It's a little thick but it works better if you pat it in and then blend rather than rubbing it on like a moisturiser. I can recommend A'Pieu Madecassoside cream if you want to try a cica product that won't hurt your budget so much.
-
^^ I'll probably end up posting a lot about the trip
(and any haul I end up buying~ I have been trying to save up for it)
For sure! I am curious how they work
I have heard a lot about snail recently. Especially in any glass skin blogs and videos. Green tea and aloe seem like they'll also do wonders for your skin ^^ As for Innisfree, did you have a reaction to the masks? I remember my skin reacting to the kiwi one in particular. I mainly stick to green tea and rose masks nowadays. But I totally agree about samples! Super helpful in making a personalized routine.
Oh my... I am so jealous!!! Do you also refrigerate it or anything? I like some of my products chilled because it helps reduce puffiness overnight
Thanks for the suggestion! Totally going to check that out bc my routine isn't set in stone yet ^^ I am trying to focus on hydration this season

Papercut. In. My. Eye. Today can officially bite my ass.

RIP Stan Lee! : (

Something in me decided that having BH all day wasn't a good enough reason to call out of work, so I went anyway hoping they would chill out. They didn't. Developed muscle spasm. Got headbutted several times in the bladder. Work was crazy today, stayed busy well past midnight. Pretty sure every one of my patients managed to urinate on the floor at some point. Scarcely got a break tonight. I am an idiot. Never again.

Therapy went well today I think. It was hard to talk about a good chunk of it but the therapist was patient with me and I was comfortable talking with her, she was even able to relate to a lot of what I've been through and helped me to make sense out of where I am now. She gave me a sort of 'homework assignment' that's supposed to help me feel more in control of where my mind goes and I think I will give it a try. Overall I'm glad I went, it felt good to talk about everything for once.

TIL about Scott Caruthers, a cult leader who convinced his followers that he was alien-Jesus, needed to harvest "positive energy" from young girls, and communicated with the mothership via cats.
Hmmmm.
