Except for dealing with the latest episode episode of The Ancient Magus, I finally finished the last of the things that I have to deal with for a while, so I now have a break until the 19th, though Saturdays will not be completely free. Finally, I can relax and play game, or maybe I should take the time to try my hand at making a WordPress theme.

Just beat a boss fight I was expecting to lose, and on the first attempt too.

Not really happy today. This is the first time I truly get time off before new releases comes out, so I wanted to play a game I got, but looks like that will not happen without guilt trips or being asked too many questions. Oh well, I can always look up where I am stuck in my game later.

Happy to finally have a break today. Of course, that does not beat  the best part about it for me is that I will probably not be overloaded this month.

One of the things I got as birthday present, though it was one that I had to buy myself for my family, was the first installment of Wolf & Parchment, the sequel to Spice & Wolf, and I thought that some of you guys would like to see what I thought of it.

Happy to be able to relax today, instead of fighting crowds. Really do not need that in my life.

Sometimes, books, especially installments of a series, can be good quality-wise, but just not enjoyable because you have been away for too long, and this was that book for me.

Excited to get a new manga today. I was not expecting to get it until next year, due to how the place ships things out.

Finally get a proper day to relax, so I guess I will play The Sims 3. Also, if anyone is interested, I do have a AMA thread that you can get in on if you wish, but I do not plan on starting a new , as one is enough.

Sometimes, it hurts when something happens, even if you know it is inevitable, and today is one of those days that keeps reminding me enough that I would rather stay home than go somewhere where I used to belong. Then again, doing that will cut off my line of support for when family cannot be there to help, due to various reasons.

Man, it has been a busy week this week. Luckily, things should be much lighter the week of my birthday.

Well, this stinks. I was trying to get my part fulfill today at another community and things started acting weird, regardless of browser. Hopefully, the Hmod or a fellow mod will answer soon about what to do.

Day was not too bad, but did encounter a post that gave me the creeps over in the community where I am a mod. It was not something that would go against the rules, as far as I know, but got a creepy vibe from it.

Excited to get some new books this week, one of which is one of the books I had to buy myself as a present.

Finished watching this week's episode, of The Ancient Magus Bride, and I think this one was pretty good, as events were not too confusing.

Guest posting did not work out too well, since Things seemed a bit strange, since they were looking for people like me, instead of me in particular. Still, it is kind of weird for them to contact me when ANB is a much bigger name in the community, whereas I only have a bit of a standing in the DC community, with MB being the only true equivalent to ANB there.

Got an email about guest posting at a site that I never even heard of. Kind of nice that they are interested in reaching out, since it does help me gain exposure, but something seems suspicious because the email was vague, as it does not tell me what I will be talking about, other than anime and manga. Right now, I am trying to look into the site.

Decided to try out the Girls' Last Tour manga, to see if it was any good, as I cannot watch the anime, and I am not really impressed with the two volumes of it I read. If you guys want to see my thoughts on it, this page lists all my reviews for the series (I probably will not go beyond volume 3 at this rate).

Recently realized that I have gotten an early break, even with the small things I need to do tomorrow, so I can just relax while waiting for Ancient Magus Bride.

Not quite my birthday yet, but I found it funny that I had to buy two of my presents for myself for my family, as Amazon will not allow gifting digital preorders.

Seriously, Amazon needs to change things some day because I already have too many books in print to store.

Recently experienced a situation similar to what this guy experienced in a theater, but at home. Do people realize we need to have quiet to be able to enjoy things?

Kind of sad that Crunchy is down right now. Was hoping to see the next episode of DC, but I guess that and possibly Ancient Magus Bride will need to wait (browser I use makes most other sites not work properly, and I would rather not turn off those functionalities, due to how annoying the allternatives to the legal sites can be).

Saw that there was a book I wanted coming soon,  but I cannot get it because the publisher is not allowing preorders in the format I want.  I might just have to wait longer to get it, since it is not really a great month to get anything close to its release date.
