Don’t think on it over much, humor is highly subjective after all 😂 One of the reasons I stuck around here was the members didn’t seem judgmental or cliquey. I didn’t even bother with an intro, just responded to someone’s “Help Me Identify This Anime” post (Requiem from the Darkness, if memory serves). Sadly activity has fallen off the past year, all the more reason we need new members, if they’re active participants, so much the better. I’m kind of sporadic with my posts. Sometimes just a meme or referencing an ANN article, other times a rambling wall of text. Where ever my whims lead I guess.
We all started somewhere, just go at your own pace & enjoy the ride (need to take my own advice more ofren). Just to clarify, I don’t have any official title or role here, just a no-lifer (socially) who made himself at home :P

Don’t worry I already love this forum and I don’t think of leaving soon 😄

    No Country for Old Men.

Kept wanting to share this here but don't know if anyone would appreciate it so, what the heck:

It's the dumbest/greatest 1980s martial arts/action homage comedy. xD If you're bored give it a go.

Edit: Should probably mention that the video is Rated for blood, Kung Fu-ish violence and language. No sexual content-etc.

I have just finished to watch it and it was really good! I have never laugh this much in my life while watching a movie 🤣. Thank you so much for the recommendation 😁.

For my Log Horizon fans out there, I started a Guild on World of Warcraft called "The Debauchery Tea Party" on a character named Lenessia

I’m feeling like reinstalling the game only to play in your guild 😅

I’ve started log horizon and I’m really loving it so far 😁. You said that there isn’t more episodes but is there any way to watch or read the rest of the story? (Sorry if there are grammatical errors. I normally speak and write French)

Your Fate Apocrypha scores fine, personally I feel it often gets too much flak and is a great show. However personally Fate Zero score and writing along with its lore compelling narrative themes and motives elevate it above Apocrypha.

thanks for letting me know 😅. I don't know why i put that score even if i really liked fate/zero 😅.

Rahxephon is a mecha anime in the same vein as Evangelion, but its basis is music, not religion.

Ai Yori Aoshi is a romantic comedy that tries to disguise itself as a harem anime.

Otaku no Video is a mocumentary anime about the birth of one of the biggest anime companies in Japan: Gainax. Its from the 80s, but still enjoyable.

    I recommend them all!!

They all seem very interesting and fun to watch so i might give them a try. thanks for the description Otaking66lives! 😄

My favorite anime are too numerous to count, but...Evangelion, Rahxephon, Ai Yori Aoshi, Otaku no Video, Gundam, You're Under Arrest, Ghost in the Shell...I could keep going LOL!

I totally understand that XD. I've never watched or heard of Ai Yori Aoshi, Otaku no Video and Rahxephon do you recommend them?

because I didn't know "Voltron" was from Japan

ha ha I also didn't know when i was a kid that Voltron was from Japan. I tough it was from somewhere like the united states or somewhere like that 😅.

Sorry if you don't understand what i'm writing. it's because i normally talk french offline.

Here my MAL if you want to check https://myanimelist.net/profile/Gabee0204

I watched all the versions through GunGale Online Alternative, but dropped fairly early into Alicization because it just felt too pretentious

Yeah same i also dropped SAO when i was watching Alicization at episode 10, if i remember correctly when the r**e happened. i didn't like that but i started thinking of maybe giving another chance to SAO when i read the first tome of sword art online progressive in light novel. Maybe you should also give it a try. it's like a remake of SAO which follow kirito and Asuna trough all the floors of aincrad.

Just checked your MAL & saw Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater listed

It may be just me but i feel like there's nobody who talked about it even if it's (in my opinion) really good and really relaxing.

As far as series that are just flat out epic I would recommend Vinland Saga & Fate Zero.

i've never watch Vinland saga but did watch Fate Zero and yes it was a really good show (or as you say so yourself epic)

  11. Thanks for replying!

I also do not watch super long anime except for Initial D that i really like so i kinda understand what you are saying 😄. It hasn't been a long time since i started watching anime compared to you 😅. I only started to watch anime 4 or 5 years ago.

it's still surprising i didn't abandoned at the start because the first show i watched that was derived from an anime  was... dragon ball evolution... yeah it didn't start well. At least i didn't even knew dragon ball was anime. My favorites genre are fantasy, comedy and romance but i can like anime of other genre. Do you have any anime you really liked?

Here is my mal if you want. if i put like an 8 to sword art online fatal bullet and sword art online, im sorry that was me when i had a really huge bad taste in anime. Also there are not all the anime/manga that i watched on it.

  12. Of course like a lot of people I do have friend but the only problem with my friend is that the only show he will only watch or read is naruto. Nice to meet you my name is soramee. I’m Canadian and I’m a weeb. I like to make jokes or just to be funny in general. Also I think you can see I write a lot for nothing. My favorite anime are lucky star, KONOSUBA, the world god only know and initial D. That would be nice if any of you could tell about yourself in the post.😄
