@MarathonGuy1337Welcome to the forums buddy, I'd recommend anime for you but I already know what you're watching and what you like. But who knows you might get some good suggestions from some of the other Forum members, that aren't dark serious anime for a change.

It’s definitely dark & violent. Okay that sounds up my street, I have a love for anything to do with historical or myth so that sounds really cool. Plus an anime dealing to the repercussions of the Russo-Japanese war sounds far to intresting to pass up.

Yeah, I know a couple guys who prefer more comedic, funny shows. So I'll yet them know about that defiantly.

I've heard of most of those, but what is Golden Kanuy and Iruma-kun about? I don't think I've ever seen nor heard of those shows.

What are they about? 

I've never play one, I got Fate Stay Night but I didn't enable the Hentai scenes. 

My opinions sort of indifferent to people who like it. I really know very little about those types of games, in fact Fate is the only game I know that contains 'hentai scenes', which I found out when I learned when I looked into Saber's concept phase. 

So I don't know if Fate is even a good comparison to a full blown Hentai game. As most the game from my knowledge is just reading, a couple choices and then... Hentai scenes.

Nice, Monster is an epic choice. Mushi-shi I haven't finished yet but so far I've really enjoyed it. I also see Cowboy Beebop and one of the Lupin shows (or movies). I have no idea what the other shows are.

Sorry. Ha, yeah this film is really bad. But in a good way; the moment when an anime spontaneously without warning breaks into doing a footloose AMV you know its something terribly special. 

The OG and Prequel Star Wars films alongside the first three Indie films are really nostalgic for me. Then there's the first two Terminators, Predator and a bunch of Arnold Schwarzenegger other films like Total Recall, Kindergarden Cop, Commando and that one were he's trying get the toy for his son on Christmas. 

No idea why his films are the epitome of my childhood movies.

I showed a friend an anime called Cipher. It highly regarded as one of the worst anime ever created. I was in stiches in the end as he sat angry and confused over the twenty minutes he'd never get back. Best part is its on youtube so anyone can watch the Room of Anime if they want. 

So many to choose, damn. Okay some honourable mentions have to go to Monster, Steins Gate, Madoka Magica Rebellion, Fate Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works second opening and Ergo Proxy. However my number 1 all-time favourite as got to be. Psycho Pass season 1 opening 2. 

The choose of song, presentation, and themes present are 10/10

Just used the git hub link, its really simple to use turns out, all you got to do is click on one of the empty tabs and then choose one of the three search engines, click either manga, anime or character and then type in the name for what you're looking for. I'll upload my test and the links already posted in my early comment. 

I guess mind would be;

Monster, Ergo Proxy, Wolfs Rain, Fate Zero and Psycho Pass.

Mines just a shelf but this is what I've grabbed so far. It's a random assortment of DVDs and Blue-rays. Also if anyone knows we're I can find the monster dvds without selling both my kidneys. That series is awesome but impossible to find online.

Been listening to Forever Lost by Myth and Food and Colourful by ClariS. Cause I finished Rebellion and Dawn of the Deep Soul very, very recently. 

Those songs hit real hard after you watch those films. 

Okay so I've seen this trend on a few other sites and forums. But can't see it on here. Older users likely know what an anime 3x3 is but fir new users it's basically your nine top anime shows that shows off your taste in anime arranged in a three by three. 

I'll go first; 

Akane and Kogami from Psycho Pass are a good duo, even if they don't always see eye to eye  Shirou and Saber from Fate Stay Night also make a good duo as they fight there way through the grail war. 

There's proberbly a few more like Reg and Rico from Made in Abyss. But can't think of many more.

Unpopular opinion: I don't watch subs

Finished the series tonight alongside the third film (skipped over the two recap films). The third film was crazy good, the show had gotten darker towards the end but nothing prepared me for Bondrewd. 

He's now one of my favourite characters now, holy shit he was next levels evil.

Yet still the greatest dad of all time. 

I heard on here the second season announced won't continue with the same characters. However for me that film was totally satisfying and if that's were Rico and Regs story is left off. 

Not really anything else to say, I don't want to ruin anything so thus post been spoiler free, but if you haven't wanted made in abyss, got put off by it more 'light hearted' start - you got to sit through it for the third film cause that shit was straight up epic.

Yeah my foray into anime was Fate/Zero so I put that at a 10, I've never seen the old yamato but the remake I've seen. I gave the first season of the reboot a nine, cause it was really good.

It might seem werid, but I'm often forgiving of older shows - such as Fate Stay Night by Studio Deen. Whilst it doesn't hold a candle to Fate Zero, UBW or HF by Ufotable got a show made in 2006 it still very well made. 

Obviously if somthing was trash in its time, it can still be trash today. Such as Mars of Destruction or Cipher. Those are god awful. And not just cause there old.
