Great show big recommend Also after watching Samurai Champloo again I think i got the vibe of the show more. So recommend. Next on the hit list is gonna be... the Violet Evergarden movie + second special? It's a really pretty anime Then gonna watch the Gundam Unicorn Series I'm a mecha fan what can I say... giant robots in space is cool
  2. Just finished Blue Comet SPT probably a week ago (need to watch the OVAs that expanded on the ending though) then binge watched Violet Evergarden, currently finishing up Death Note and showing a friend Samurai Champloo. Next on my hit list is probably Trigun, Mobile Suit Gundam Compilation Movies, Code Geass, Hunter X Hunter and City Hunter. Either way I still got nearly 200 anime on my plan to watch list. I need help
  3. currently watching three shows Blue Comet SPT Layzner I like 80s Mecha shows Death Note Because I'm constantly behind on good shows Highschool of the Dead (HOTD) Well the reason for this one is sort of obvious
  4. Whilst I would argue on the rule breaking you put Taiga Aisaka on the 4X4 So I random guy on the internet forgive your transgressions I have to say... I like the MILFS. Lets start a hashtag #NEVERFORGETMILFWAIFU
  5. That would be Yamada from B-Gata H-Kei. I know I have taste Also I'm going to judge the three by three you posted. Love It. Though not enough tsunderes for me.
  6. Well I can respect loyalty but remember Clavius your husbando won't know if you have more than one. Mind you that not very smart considering my list was an tsunderes (Intepertation of what would happen if Anime Wiafus where really pictured above I used Manga Studios 5EX Just grabbed images online and smashed them together I was almost 100% sure that you where an elitist but then... Astolfo
  7. Okay here's a topic to start a flame war Post your Anime Waifu 3X3 Don't worry guys no wrong answer's Here's mine
  8. Finished Gurren Lagann Its like the anime equivalent of levelling up Bye... for now
  9. I finally finished legend of the galactic heroes (1988) OVA An absolute masterpiece in all honesty even started buying the books
  10. Wolfgang Mittermeyer and Oskar von Reuenthal
  11. Got though Black Lagoon (First Season) and DNA2 back on to the Legend of the Galactic Heroes (1988) OVA Season 4 and also Gurren Lagann, as I got the boxset a while back and have been meaning to watch it. Not sure what's next but one think a can say as a certainty Watching almost 110 episodes subbed was really tiring.
  12. DNA-2 is know up their as well, it was just so sleazy and kind of plotless. This giff pretty much sums it up. A vomit inducing show.
  13. Mobile Suit ZZ Gundam. Its 46 episodes long but on the positive side... I mean how much worse can it be. To be honest if we achieved this level I'd be pretty happy with it.
  14. "I don't believe that the absolute truth is necessary. I only need the power to freely accomplish my dreams." The man, the myth, the legend of the galactic heroes himself Kaiser Reinhard Von Lohengram. That or this one... "Take revenge on me?"
  15. HOW DOES ANIME MAKE ONE FEEL? That's a good question I generally have three categories Epic/Hyped - This is generally for those explosive Mecha, Shonen or action shows. Where your just pumped at how explosive the finally was and all the action. Shows like Gundam and such fall into this category. Emotional - This is pretty much for the slice or life and drama shows, the guy gets the girl or the girl gets the guy. Shows like Toradora! and Golden Time are good examples of that. Smart - The shows that are deep and intellectual. This is general not as defiend by genre or type as the other two. Shows like Steins Gate, Wolfs Rain, Psycho-Pass and Monster fall into this category. Pretty often you get shows that combined these feelings like Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood that combined the felling of watching a smart shows with the sort of hype/epicness of a Shonen or in the class with Star Blazers 2199 emotional and hyped with the Yamato's safe return to Earth mixed in with the death of Captain Okita and the resurrection of Yoki. Naturally it should go without saying that you should want to feel satisficed from the show that you have just watched, that what marks a show as something that you have enjoyed or many continue watching in the event of a sequel season.
  16. Well that's Puella Magi Madoka Magica fnished. No comment. Also currently watching though Season 3 of the classic Legend of the Galactic Heroes 1988 OVA series What's next is still something of considerable consideration. I could watch Beck, Baccano!, Black Lagoon and DNA2. All are worthy of the spot to watch next but I don't know which it will be. I'll have to think about it for awhile but since the candidates are known to us the troops can rest, drinking is permitted.
  17. Any Ginax Show; Ginax Fans, hold on this is coming from someone that actually enjoys them. Be it Eva, Gurren Lagann or FLCL theirs always people defending them as misunderstood master pieces and then other tearing them to shreds. Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ and Char Counterattack always are seen as divisive though for different reasons, ZZ starts of more comedic and less dark in tone compared to where Zeta began and ended and Chars Counterattack is also a lot more stripped back from where Zeta and Zeta Zeta left off almost felling like it was trying its best to be a continuation of the original series so I can see these reasons for why they are divisive in the community. Also Golden Time, it has both a load of people that really love it and then a whole load of other people that don't enjoy it mainly sighting "Ghost Banri" I remember this only briefly but the remake for Legend of the Galactic Heroes was also a bit hated on when it first came out mainly because of suitable change in art style and a few arcs and episodes being cut , with a greater focus on specific characters and spectacle, however I love both (currently watching the OG OVA) I know its like I'm a figure from myth or legend when I say that it's okay to like both shows
