  2. I've watched plenty of anime, but I've been looking around, and need some help finding some good anime with comedy and action...anyone got some ideas? or perhaps can help me out? I've been looking on some websites, and found some decent stuff, but nothing i'm interested in...like I said, perhaps you guys could help! Thanks!
  3. had to choose between it and kaiju no 8. i chose hxh, what are you guy's thoughts on the series and do you think i made the right decision ?
  4. Hellloooo! (I hope I'm putting this post in the right category!) Tonight, I will start watching My Hero Academia. I thought it would be fun if anybody else is still in the beginning of the series, that we have some place to talk about it while we are watching it? (I never used a forum before maybe thats more of a chat/discord kind of topic idk) Anyways, it would be fun to talk about our impressions with someone who is also experiencing MHA for the first time!
  5. So, I didn't see a thread on here about the "That time I got reincarnated as a slime" anime and I was wondering, what do you all think about it? I'm liking it so far ≧◡≦
  6. My Anime is my favorite : Sword art online is such a great anime to watch in a free time. the plot overall has twists and its amazing! what do you guys think?
  7. Sailor Moon Video Games Sailor Moon is a massive franchise, pervading all types of media. This also includes video games! Unfortunately, it is estimated that 90% of these games never have seen official releases outside of Japan. However, fans being amazing as we are, many of these have been translated over the years! I have played a good chunk of these myself, but am still working my way through the vast library of these titles. There are also tons of fan-made games for the franchise, many completely worth playing! My current focus is the Super Moon Fighter series that was created by Sprite Team (a Japanese gaming company), for the X68000. There are several versions of Sailor Moon fighting games that this company has created, and through the power of the internet I have been able to experience NEARLY all of them. Sadly, the version of the game that sparked my interest, Super Moon Fighter DX, is the single version that appears to be missing from the internet. Any help in unearthing this version would be greatly appreciated. Below is the character select screen, and some additional sprites for reference. The specifics for this version include that Sailor Moon is now Eternal Sailor Moon, and has Luna as a side kick who can also attack. Also, Super S abilities were added in such as Venus Love and Beauty Shock, Mars Flame Sniper, Jupiter Oak Evolution, etc. It is also the only currently known version of the game to include Sailor Saturn, who is extremely powerful. Super Moon Fighter aside, I would love for this to just be a general Sailor Moon Video Game Discussion Thread. Speak about whatever you like regarding that subject here! I'll start. Of all the Sailor Moon video games out there, my favorite would have to be Sailor Moon Another Story. If you are unfamiliar, it's a turn-based battle style JRPG that was officially released on the Super Famicon (SNES) by a company called Angel in 1995. To date, it has never seen an official English translation. However, there have been two largely recognized translations done over the years. The original fan translation of the game was done by Bishoujo Senshi Translations released in 1999. This translation heavily relies on knowledge of the fan-subtitled Sailor Moon anime, and fansub anime in general. Additionally, the creators had to do some major re-programming to get it to work properly. The translation is not perfect, but is still very well done and does not impede on enjoyment of the game. Some technique descriptions are inaccurate / funny. Example: The link technique that combines Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Uranus is called Fire Thunder Shaking. The description for this attack is "An old man?" Released 20 years after Bishoujo Senshi Translations' initial release, this is a complete English re-localization of the game. Featured are several fixes to issues and bugs in the original game. There is also a version of this that has some small changes to increase quality of life: that being, double EXP per battle and 1/2 enemy encounter rate as well as adding an attack enhancement item to a shop for Sailor Mercury's solo quest. (Because most people had no idea that her Shabon Spray attack is actually the most useful ability in the game). Both versions of the game are available online. Google search the game title, plus "Fantasy Anime" and you'll find it. Sailor Mercury - From Useless to OP Back when all we had was the original translation, and very limited resources, those of us who were able to play it had absolutely NO idea that Sailor Mercury's ability, Shabon Spray, didn't do direct damage. It is even listed in the fan guide as simply causing minor damage. It wasn't until playing this game as an adult, and becoming obsessed with the fact that her 2 CP cost attack did so much less than everyone else's, and also seemed to have a strange damage limit to it (the numbers never seeming to go higher than 20), for it to just be straight damage. I tested it out, figured out that the numbers popping up are showing exactly how much you are reducing the enemies attack by , and then promptly ran to the internet to find that someone else had discovered the same thing a few years prior. LOL! But still! That was an exciting moment for me, and to this day I do not think it is very well known. Because of this ability, and the fact that Sailor Mercury has one of the highest Defense Stats in the game, Sailor Mercury has successfully taken the spot as Most Useful Character in Sailor Moon Another Story. Feel free to disagree below.
  8. Season 2 has been over for a couple of weeks and I am heartbroken. This series really spoke to me on an emotional level and has quickly become one of my favorites. I'm hoping it gets comfirmed for a third season. Feel free to leave your thoughts on the anime below. I've been itching to discuss it with someone.
  9. Is Saya Kisaragi from the anime Blood-C actually just a Filipina aswang from pre-Spanish colonial era Philippines? In the anime Blood-C, Saya Kisaragi's origins are shrouded in mystery. She isn't even Japanese. And her real name is just Saya. Her last name Kisaragi is fake. In all honesty, we don't even know if her real name is Saya at all. Her real name would have probably been native female Filipino Tagalog such as Luwalhati, Diwa, etc. Her real last name on the other hand, would have been native Filipino Tagalog such as Atabay, Dimasupil, Una, etc. Despite her youthful physical appearance, she is actually much older. A lot of people said that she is an Elder Bairn but there are also ones that say that she is something else. As for her looking like a Japanese teenage human girl, this probably isn't even her real form. Her real form is probably that of tanned skinned Filipino teenage girl with large eyes and not that of a pale-skinned slanted eyed Japanese teenage girl. Her real form could have probably been like this long-black-haired tanned-skinned Filipina girl. She probably could have looked like Mayari from the webtoon Mayari. The webtoon Mayari is created by Azilim. Seriously, search up Mayari. I am not saying that the webtoon is connected to the Blood-C universe. I am just saying that Saya Kisaragi's real physical appearance could have been like that of Mayari. She could have probably used a supernatural power that changed her physical appearance from that of a Filipina teenage girl into that of a Japanese teenage girl. Keep in mind that aswangs have the supernatural power to change from one human form into another different human form. Seriously, those are one of the aswang's supernatural powers. Another thing that sets her apart from Elder Bairns is that she is a monster but looks like a human. She's probably not even an Elder Bairn but something else. So again, is there a possibility that Saya Kisaragi is actually just a Filipina aswang from Pre-Spanish colonial era Philippines? By the way, search up aswangs so you can understand what I am saying.
  10. Chapter 1:The Multiverse Begins Planet 4032 (Earth) "It sure is a nice day to go training isn't it". Said Goku in excitement. "Hmph. I guess it is". Said Vegeta in a angry tone. "Alright let's go!" Said Goku. Soon as they were about to fly away, Vegeta's wife Bulma stop them. "You know instead of training in the city and causing destruction all the time how about you two try to go off the coast for once". Said Bulma. Goku is thinking of an excuse to not train out in the ocean. "What if we drown". As Goku said Nervously. "Nice try Goku but if you and Vegeta want to go training. THEN TRAIN OFF THE DAMN COAST!" Said Bulma in a stressful manner. "Okay, okay, okay. We'll go off the coast Bulma". Said Goku. "I better not catch you two training in the city." Said Bulma. Goku and Vegeta finally go do training. But at the beginning of the training, Vegeta keeps asking Goku. "Use your Ultra Instinct." Said Vegeta. "Vegeta we're training. Why would I need to use ultra instinct." Said a confused Goku. "Because I want to see how strong I am against you while your Ultra Instinct". Said a confident Vegeta. "But Vegeta I don't think I can". Said Goku. "LISTEN TO ME KAKAROT. YOU'RE GOING TO USE ULTRA INSTINCT, EVEN IF THAT MEANS I HAVE TO-". A massive rumbled happened as Goku and Vegeta were arguing. "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT." Said Goku. "THAT'S A GIANT HOLE KAKAROT. YOU DUMB ASS." Said Vegeta. Goku and Vegeta are confused and worried and trying to figure out what's going on. "Hey Vegeta let's go ask Bulma what the hell is happening". "Okay. Let's go Kakarot". Goku and Vegeta fly over to Capsule Corp to meet Bulma but the loud rumble stops them but they keep pushing. "Let's hope Bulma is okay. We need to get answers of what's going on." Said Goku. Goku and Vegeta arrive at Capsule Corp and ask Bulma what's going on. "It appears the multiverse is happening. This could be really bad." Said Bulma. "How?" Said Goku. "OTHER PEOPLE FROM DIFFERENT UNIVERSES CAN COME TO THIS UNIVERSE AND IT COULD CAUSE A BIG WAR DESTROYING THE PLANET". Goku and Vegeta stood there in shocked not knowing what to do or think. Planet 5748 (Earth) A Few Hours Earlier "NO, YOU BASTARD. YOU DESTROYED MY TIME MACHINE!" "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Laughed Fu. "Your precious timeline will be just fine Trunks. I mean it's not like it will cause a disaster." Said Fu in a sarcastic tone. "YOU BASTARD YOU WILL DIIIIIIIIE!" Screamed Trunks. "I don't think I will haha". Said Fu as he vanished. "D-DAMNIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!" Trunks stood there not knowing what to do. "Fu. That bastard. I should've never trusted him!" As Trunks said in his head. In a upset way. Chapter 2:Rifts "Mom, what's going on?" Asked Kid Trunks. "Trunks listen to me. Go to your room and STAY THERE." "Okay mom!" "Goten I need you go to your mother. NOW!" Exclaimed Goku. "But dad..." "LISTEN TO ME GOTEN. GO TO YOUR MOTHER NOOOW." Shouted Goku. "O-Okay" Said a scared Goten. As Goten was flying to his home a rift opened up right in front of him. But Goten ignored it and still kept going to his house. To check on his mother. As keeps flying someone stops him. It's the Demon Slayer Tanjiro. "HEY KID. GET BACK HERE"! Shouted Tanjiro. Goten kept flying. Ignoring him. Tanjiro yells again. "GET BACK HERE KID"! Tanjiro jumps really high. Getting Goten and bringing him down to the ground. "WHAT'S GOING ON HERE. I SEE A STRANGE BLACK HOLE OPEN UP AND ALL OF THE SUDDEN I'M HERE!" "Please let me go! I just need to get to my mother!" Cried Goten. Tanjiro let's go of Goten and stood there in silence for a few seconds. "Sorry kid. Go get to your mother." Said Tanjiro calmly. As Goten was about to fly away he told Tanjiro directions to Capsule Corp and who to ask. "If you want to know what's going on. Go to Capsule Corp. Keep going straight and you'll be in a city. Look for a circle building. Okay." "Thanks. NOW GO!" As Tanjiro is heading towards the city he sees multiples rifts. He acknowledges them for a few seconds but he keeps heading for Capsule Corp. "I think I see a city." Said Tanjiro in his head. As Tanjiro arrives in the city. He sees a lot of chaos and destruction. But he also sees a dome protecting a building. "Is that shield protecting a building." Tanjiro jumps to Capsule Corp but he bumps into the shield really hard. He slowly falls off the shield to the ground. As he's getting up, Goku instant transmissions to Tanjiro. Goku tells Tanjiro. "Grab my hand. That we can get inside." Tanjiro grabs Goku's hand. Soon as Goku instant transmissions him and Tanjiro, Vegeta comes charging at Tanjiro. Vegeta shouts. "YOU BETTER HAVE ANSWERS. YOU SON OF A BITCH." Tanjiro panicks. But Goku stops Vegeta from doing anything to Tanjiro. "Vegeta calm down." "WHY? HE'S PROBABLY THE ONE BEHIND ALL OF THIS. LOOK AT HIM!" Tanjiro stood there with a confused face. "He does look like he's from another universe?" "EXACTLY!" As there's commotion going on. Bulma walks into the room. Getting ready to yell but Tanjiro finally explains himself. "I'm from another universe okay. A black hole appeared. So I just walked right into it. That was a stupid mistake." Bulma stands there, shocked and confused. "Does anyone else think Trunks did this. After all, he does like messing with time. Hehehehe." Said Goku. "Trunks promised me he wouldn't mess with the timeline!" "But how could he have messed with other universes and cause all these Rifts. Someone else probably caused all of this." Said Bulma. "Yeah no doubt." Said Goku. "I hate to interrupt but how will I get back to my universe?" Asked Tanjiro. "I don't know? In the mean time stay in this universe." Said Bulma. "I CAN'T STAY HERE! PEOPLE NEED ME!" Yelled Tanjiro. "WELL YOU MOST CERTAINLY CAN'T GO OUT THERE! NOW CAN YOU?" Yelled Bulma. "WAIT GOTEN!" Shouted Goku. "I CAN'T GET A SENSE OF HIS ENERGY! HE'S PROBABLY IN ANOTHER UNIVERSE! DAMNIIIIT!" A couple of hours earlier "Mom I hope your okay. I'm coming." Said Goten in his head. Goten sees a lot of rifts open up but doesn't acknowledge them liked Tanjiro did. Goten just kept pushing. Finally, he arrives at his house but to see it half destroyed. Goten worries that his mom is dead but to his surprised she's not. Goten here's her screaming our for help. "MOM! I'M COMING." As Goten heads for his mom a right rift appears right in front of him. Taking him to another universe. Just to say that this is Chapter 1 and 2. I think there will be 5 or 6 Chapters. I just wanted to see how other people like it.
  11. What do you think about this anime? I want to watch this anime, is this good anime?
  12. So I didn't stumble upon any forum mentioning about this amazing anime "No Game No Life". Well come on guys please give me some revuews about this anime, because personally I love it. I mean the plot and the characters are just so fitting !! The intelligence level of this anime alone can defeat that of Isaac Newton's(just kidding, maybe). The use of psychology and some of the truth of life just hits so hard from this anime. Tell me about your opinions !
  13. Hello everyone! i hope y'all to be fine i'm new here and wanted to say hello i have recently started a Youtube Channel and i hope y'all will help me grow my channel Thanks dudes!

  15. What You all Think About Tower Of God Season 2 Chances?
  16. Hi, there's an anime I watched a while back, more than 5 years ago. I'm trying to recall it's name or find it online but so far, to no avail. Brief description: It's a car racing themed anime, where there are (I think) 3 groups - human, machines, and beasts. The first episode begins with a human racer in his car accidently slipping into a different dimension and running into a (blue) female character who was being chased by some beings, and he ends up saving her. From there on, he teams up with her and a couple other humans, going out on missions to race the machines and the beasts over some objectives (which I can't recall). The general idea is that they race to capture some items which they need to collect. Any help identifying this anime/show would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
  17. Looking for good reccomendations like Sword Art Online. I've already seen Bofuri [I Don't Wanna Get Hurt So I'll Max Out My Defense]
  18. Hello! I’m new to anime but i really need help to be part of the anime community. I’m into attack on titan right now and it’s really good but I still need help trying to fit in.
  19. I don’t watch one episode at a time, I watch the whole season at once. I waited for AOT 4 to complete, downloaded it and was into its complete amazing aura...Eren had eaten Warhammer Titan, Levi just took Beast Titan.. Survey corps were doing great.. And then.... and then Sasha died.... that Gabi i hate i just can’t take it. It feels sad that i wanna talk to someone. Someone who understands..
  20. Who Would win ! Jonathan Joestar vs Eren?

  22. Yo Anime Forums! It's Groove_Kami here to bring you this blog. So, I love the series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. It was created back in 1987 by Hirohiko Araki and since then, we've had more than 30 years of this series bliss. It currently has 8 parts, 8 main JoJo's, over 150 stands, and lots and lots of badboys. But, there is a certain part that a lot of fans consider their favorite part, and one of the most popular parts, being Part 5: Golden Wind. Golden Wind has this weird appeal to the fans, and is much different from the earlier parts. It's more, Bizarre, per se. I think one of it's appeals is it's main cast, who we will be looking at and ranking by their strengths and abilities. I will be ranking all 7 of Passione(Bucciaratti's Team), our main cast. Now, if you have seen part 5 and disagree with my rankings, please, be mindful and don't act like a coked-up chimpanzee. Now, with all of this out of the way, let's begin. #7-Leone Abbachio & Moody Blues- Leone Abbachio, a former cop who had quit after the death of his partner, and overall being mediocre at his job. One night, he was found by Bucciarrati, and he was offered to join his squad. He joined the mafia gang, Passione, and got his Stand, Moody Blues. Moody Blues is a close-range Humanoid Stand with the ability of Chronological Rebroadcasting. Chronological Rebroadcasting allows Abbachio to replay any event that has happened, whether it be 5 minutes or 20 years ago. But, the more time had passed from that events, the more time it will take to replay it. Now, this Stand is not used for combat, but more for investigation. This already lands Abbacchio on the weakest spot on the list, along with it's low stats, with a C in Power, Speed, Precision, and Development. It only has A's in Range and Persistence. So yeah, Abbachio is the weakest of all of Passione. #6-Guido Mista & Sex Pistols- Guido Mista, a young man who was cheated by the legal system for murdering 4 people with a gun when saving a woman. He was sentenced 15-30 years in prison, but was eventually bailed out by Bucciaratti due to his skills with a pistol, and offered him a spot on his team. He accepted and got his Stand, Sex Pistols. Sex Pistols is a long-distance colony stand, being 6 in total, numbered 1-7(he skipped 4 due to it being unlucky). Sex Pistols' ability is Bullet Control. Sex Pistols will load themselves into the cylinder of the pistol, and once a bullet is shot, they will ride on the bullet. They then can change the trajectory and/or add power and speed to the bullet. Now, he could've been higher if his Stands were more useful without Mista's gun, because anybody above Mista can break the pistol, catch bullets, or easily defeats their Stands. Plus, Mista will eventually run out of bullets, thus making him and his stand utterly defenseless. #5-Trish Una & Spice Girl- Trish Una, a young woman who is the daughter of the boss of Passione, Diavolo. She originally was suppose to be guarded by Bucciaratti's team, but was secretely supposed to be killed by Diavolo. She then stayed with Bucciarati's team, and developed her Stand, Spice Girl. Spice Girl's ability is Softening. Softening allows Spice Girl to, well, soften anything it touches. This already gives her an advantage because she can soften Mista's gun. But...she doesn't have any other advantage other than actually being a combat stand. So yeah, Trish is just not that strong compared to the other members. #4-Narancia Ghirga & Aerosmith- Narancia Ghirga, a young man who was betrayed by his friends, and was a delinquent with a terrible life. Narancia's mother had died from an eye disease when Narancia was young. Eventually, he was neglected by his father, which basically let Narancia do whatever he wanted. He dropped out of school, and started hanging out with young thugs and delinquents. Eventually, he was tricked by one of his friends and got framed, and was soon betrayed by his friends, and then got the same disease his mother got. One day, Pannacotta Fugo, a member of Passione, found him outside. the resturant he was at. Bucciarratti offered him food, and eventually got his disease healed. He then wanted join Passione, and was accepted. Then he got his Stand, Aerosmith. Aerosmith is a long-distance stand that takes the form of a small WW2 fighter plane, loaded with powerful weapons. He has 2 machine guns loaded under each wings, with an infinite number of hard-hitting bullets. He also has a small bomb that can decimate the inside of a car, and a Carbon Dioxide radar. Narancia is a pretty powerful opponent, but falls in comparison to the people higher than him. #3-Bruno Bucciarati & Sticky Fingers-Bruno Bucciarati, the leader of his own team, and has had a troubled past. His Father was a fisherman, and his Mother would stay at home. They divorced when Bucciaratti was 10, where he decided to stay with his 10. One day, his dead was shot down when he witnessed a drug deal, but was saved by luck. Bruno would vow to protect his father, and did when the dealers came to kill him one night. Bucciarati then joined and served under Passione, eventually gaining his own team, being our main cast. Bucciarati's Stand is Sticky Fingers, a close-range stand that can create and manipulate Zippers. Bucciarati can create Zippers and do a lot with them. He can store and hide in his zippers, unzip his body parts to extend his range, zip and unzip peoples bodies, and so much more. And due to his amazing intellect and creativity, this allows him to climb the ranks to our 3rd spot. #2-Pannacotta Fugo & Purple Haze- Pannacotta Fugo, a young boy who has a high IQ. He was able to go to college at age 10, where he beat his teacher with an encyclopedia after almost getting sexually harassed by his teacher. He was then neglected, and eventually, kicked out of his family by his parents. Then, he was found by Bucciarati, and joined his crew. He then got one of the deadliest Stands in the gang, and all of JoJo, Purple Haze. Purple Haze can create a deadly virus that can eat a living-being's flesh in under 30 seconds. This ability is overpowered, but has one flaw: it damages and affects the user. You could swap Fugo and Bucciarati around, but I chose Fugo over Bucciarati due to his deadly virus. #1-Giorno Giovanna and Gold Experience- Giorno Giovanna. The Main JoJo of Part 5 and the son of Dio Brando. He joined Passione after his fight with Bucciarati so that he can stop the boss, become the boss, and stop the gang from selling drugs to kids. Giorno's Stand is Gold Experience, a Stand that has multiple abilities. His main ability is Life Giver, where it can create living beings from inorganic objects. It has Damage Reflection, which i self explanatory. It can also create flesh and organs to heal and give people new body parts. He also has Life Exhaustion, which allows him to grow and wither things in an instant. It has Life Shot, which can accelerate someone's thought process before they even attack, rendering them unable to move for a bit. But that's not all, because Gold Experience has another form. If Giorno stabs himself with the Requiem Stand Arrow, he can become Gold Experience Requiem, the most powerful Stand in JoJo. It as all of it's original abilities, but with one new ability: Return to Zero. Gold Experience Requiem's ultimate ability is to revert actions and willpower directed against Giorno back to the state of "zero", completely nullifying them and preventing them from becoming "real". Hence, it is virtually invincible, as all "supposed" actions created by an opponent would have been reset (back to point zero). Once struck by this effect, there is no escape from it, and the opponent will have every action they perform reverted back to "zero". It is mentioned by Giorno himself that he is unsure of the exact workings and limits of GER's powers, but it has been shown that its range of influence extends from surface contact to even being in the mere attention field of GER. This cavalcade of abilities allow Giorno to climb up to the strongest spot on Bucciarati's team. Anyway, that's all from me. If you want me to analyze or rank anything from your favorite anime, let me know. Also, this is my first blog on my first day here, so I have high hopes for this sit. Ask me anything in the comments, and I'll see ya later. Adios Chimichangas.
