The first 2 episodes are out on crunchyroll. It was much anticipated new adaption of the comic. I was a little worried with anything that gets too much hype and I did not want to be disappointed. However I was surprised at how good it was. First I wanted for the first time to look at reviews just too see sometimes when I see reviews are reaction clips they are a little overboard in my opinion but it was pretty decently accurate. Okay Let's get down to it. First episode starts off with the beginning of how and little of why they each entered the tower which was a little vague but later on when Bam (main character) flashes back to his past you get the sense of the story and what Rachel (vague second main character) means to him. The op was freaking excellent montage sequence and fantastic song by Stray Kids (kpop group) also the ending song is by them. It gives off a good raw emotional feel to it. The sound effects/soundtrack during the show is really good also. Like they have this music playing while Bam is running in this cave and it had like kinda creepy music playing in the background that gave it this really chilling effect like you were there too. It was cool. I felt the art style of the show is a bit choppy but honestly I think it compliments the feel of the anime in way. There are already so many interesting and intriguing characters. Oddly enough one of the side characters become my favorite Evan. He is freaking hilarious. He has kind of a dumb demeanor but he is smart and provides various comic relief. Though this anime is a bit action, adventure, drama feel and has some really funny comedic parts that keep it from kinda of tipping over the too serious point. So I think there is quite a balance that I feel is rarely seen in anime. Also the character Lero Ro in ep 2 is voiced by Kenjroo Tsuda I love that mans voice. This fantasia of sorts would be a good way to describe the journey so far. This is definitely a must watch anime.!!! Down the rabbit hole we go!

Okay Everyone so I already updated my status a little while ago so I would like to continue on that note by making a few blog entries. Since yet again it has been some time since my last post. I don't know if I have mentioned to you all before but I quite the procrastinator while I am at home. So my room is a hot mess and it takes me forever to do stuff also as a Gemini I tend to get sidetracked a lot so I never really finish anything I actually start. Ugh sometimes I just wish I could get together while I'm home. Also I said only at home that's because when I am at work I'm totally different person. Diligent, hard working, problem solver, communicative, real people person. I wasn't or is not popular but when I think of a character I probably most resemble Umaru from Himouto! Umaru-chan. Anyway I digress back to the main program. lol. There was a few things I wanted to talk about one is this will be the only mention of things in the world right now as I am sure others are already talking about things and frankly I am sick of all this craziness and wish to not talk about it. I do however care very much about the people's well being and mental health so like I have said before if you need a friend to talk to I'm willing to listen that aside my blog shall bring happiness with reviews of anime's, manga, Japan, kpop, and jrock, among many other things. Ok moving on. I love Haikyu it is one of my top 10 favorites I can watch this series over and over again. That being said I was a bit disappointed when the new season is WHAT already over. Just 13 episodes I don't know why but it felt awfully short to me. I mean it is pretty standard 12 to 13 episodes per season but looking back The first and second season were each 25 episodes soooo you know WTF. But the wait shouldn't be too long. Tentative date will be sometime this July with 14 more episodes. So I CAN'T FREAKIN WAIT!!!! Second season of Fruits Basket started and I am already highly irritated at Motoko that girl I just wanna punch in the face. The first episode introduce a couple of new charcters who were highly strange to put it mildly. See what story those two bring. Other than that the episode was kinda plain honestly. But we are just getting back into the swing of things so I am sure there will be more adventures and drama awaiting. My looking Forward/New Season List Some more SAO - Now I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about this series. I will say I quite like however it does not make my top 10 list. Since I'm older I quite like some old school stuff but I have invested a lot of time in watching all of the series thus far. It's got some good qualities I feel the new story arc is a little lacking compared to original and GGO season's. I felt it was a little slow in the beginning but now that some of the original cast is starting to come back into action it is starting to feel more like itself sort to speak. Assendance of a Bookworm - I love Myne (sounds like Mine) she is the main character. Okay if you haven't watched this little gem I would. Classified as Isekai. Basically a reincarnation into another world. She is thrust into and frail poor girl, though she isn't alone her whole family is there don't get to sad on me. But this world is quite different and there is a lack of books which well from the title guessed her previous life she was a bookworm and thus part of her struggles begin. She super kawaii it's an adorable funny story. Guess I just started second season it was a really short break in-between that last couple episodes so I don't really call it a second season in my opinion. Food Wars 5th Plate - Soma is my jam. LOL. I absolutely love Food Wars I can't get enough of this sadly I believe this will be the last season. I have been thinking after this is over I might start reading the manga cause I love it so much. Highly anticipating what and where the shows going. Tower of God - Now I haven't watched the first episode of this but I'm hoping it will be decent. The story sounds good so we will see how the plot unfolds itself. When I watched the preview up the upcoming season there were a few shows I was interested in but I didn't freaking write them down at the time thus I can't remember what they were. So we will see when they come out and I will update you all on the promising new shows. Sorry forgot one. The 8th son? Are you Kidding me? - An isekai also. First episode was quite entertaining and I feel will be very funny and interesting to watch. During the first episode the opening montage does't happen until the halfway point of the episode was quite weird but it was an awesome rock song. SPOILERS!!! The main character is a salary man and after getting off from work prepares a meal and right before eating falls asleep and wakes up in a very strange place and is also now a young boy. He thinks he is rich nobility but it's more like poor nobility and then finds out that he isn't a 3rd son but in fact the 8th. Anyway some other funny stuff happens and it was pretty good.

One more page and I will sleep same thing I always told to myself when i watch anime, but this manga in titled "demon slayer" keeps me alive and never allows me to rest as page goes by, it keeps me reading it until i reach the last page but until now I'm half way through with it and it's still not finish yet, now I'm trouble finding my sleep in midday, I guess I should continue to read this amazing manga.

If you’ve been following my recent posts, you’ll know this series has become one of my obsessions. The premise is that eight teenagers, (each specializing in a particular genre of online gaming) are abducted and forced to complete a series of challenges which are streamed live. Their masked host informs that they will remain trapped until they can accumulate 100 million views. The things that stand out immediately are the weird setting where realistically impossible things happen frequently and the smart-alecky banter between the characters (kinda like Haruhi Suzimiya). While the initial impression of the series is comedic, the more it progresses the more mystery, suspense & psychological it becomes. It’s becoming increasingly clear that the various characters have their own secrets and in at least one case it makes him/her potentially dangerous. I realize that this series is under most people’s radar. But I think @Castigear has watched a couple episodes & @LonelyPoet mentioned the manga it is based on. I thought I would see if there’s enough interest to justify a discussion or at least recommend checking it out to my fellow forum members because I’m enjoying it a lot. Here in the US you can find the dub on Funimation (the version I’m following) and the subtitled version on Hulu. Let me know what you think.

Hello! I'm Kay but I also go by Blue in some places, like Discord. I actually go by both names there, too, lmao. ANYWAY I enjoy anime, as I'm sure you can guess because I'm here. I also enjoy video games and roleplaying (mostly on Discord or Tumblr). I'm a female so I prefer she/her based pronouns. I'm not too picky about it, however, but yeah. When it comes to anime, I sort of prefer the action/adventure ones with a comedic edge and an unearthly vibe to it, like magic or demons. Just something that isn't purely normal human stuff. With games, I have the same preference and love open world types, such as the infamous Elder Scrolls or Fable. That's it about me for now. Hello everyone my name is Julian Barragan but y'all can call me Jubacard here lol. I'm a proffessional filmmaker from Colombia that for some reason decided to start writting a manga lol. I'm familiar with the rules of story structure and I add my flare to it, but this is for sure my first attempt at a shonen format. The lore of the story Centers Around The Morai Agency. They have the job of fixing time anomalies throughout space and time. Matsuko is our rebel member of Morai, and ise, our protagonist is a first semester college student who doesn't know what to do with his life, they meet and go on crazy space and time adventures. It's done in a screenwritting format but with some liberties taken. Every type of comment of suggestion is recieved! thank you! I wanna write as much as possible. TL;DR I like Saitama more than Midoriya, and the themes of One Punch Man appeal to me more than My Hero Academia's. Also, hype culture is bad for any media. I will try to make this blog post spoiler-free, so no worries about that. However, I can't guarantee anything I source will be spoiler-free, so discretion is still advised. This blog entry was inspired from @Seshi and me talking on the Introduce Forums, found here. I tried to condense a lot of what I was thinking there, so hopefully it sounds more fluid here. Just to note, I'm going to call One Punch Man "OPM" and My Hero Academia as "BnHA" So, Seshi is not the first person to ask me why I rate BnHA so lowly. I admitted that 3 and 4 might be a little harsh for something that actually feels like it has heart poured into it, (and that I plan to change these ratings when I read/watch more of the show) but I still heavily prefer OPM over it. I find it interesting that these two are lumped together pretty frequently. Other than being action anime about hero organizations and ranks, I don't find them anything alike structurally. At their core, OPM is a meta-comedy with an overpowered main character that doesn't really get any stronger and BnHA is a battle shounen about progressively and constantly getting stronger. Anyways, the question I get a lot is "why did you enjoy OPM, but not BnHA?" Answering this question means explaining why I like anime to begin with. Compared to western shows and movies, (where I find the characters completely disconnected and shallow) I can relate to anime characters in the weirdest ways, and the more I slowly understand about a character, the more I can appreciate who they are. To give an example of this, Koyomi Araragi from the Monogatari series seems like a shallow character at first. However, as the series continues, more of his motivations and ideologies get revealed, which really made me admire his character and thought put into him. As for Deku, I felt like we knew everything about him from the beginning. He's kind of a timid kid who works hard because he wants to be like All Might. For the two seasons I watched, he's kept this same personality throughout both seasons, and it doesn't seem like he's going to change. I don't think this is necessarily bad writing, (many great works have no character development) but because of what I appreciate in anime, I don't like it when characters are shallow and unchanging. Conversely, I love when characters are deep or develop throughout the story, as it's showing that everyone can either change for the better, or is simply misunderstood. To move the topic onto OPM, I actually found Saitama's character to be more than "I'm bald man that kill in one hit". There are actually already videos explaining why Saitama is a representation of a depressed worker that feels nothing due to the harsh nature of the Japanese workplace, but I won't go into that in this blog post. Instead, I'm just going to mention that Saitama has an enthralling relationship with the other heroes, particularly Fubuki, Genos, and King. The dichotomy he plays with these other heroes is something unique and unlike most anime I've seen. The last thing I'd like to talk about here is the themes the two shows portray. From the first two seasons of BnHA, I found the theme to be "we shouldn't be afraid to follow in our predecessor's footsteps", especially in the second season with Todoroki. OPM, on the other hand, has a theme of "you should focus on improving yourself rather than comparing yourself to others", which is made apparent with characters like Genos and Glasses. I can appreciate both of these themes, but OPM's appeals more to me. I hope this a lesson that everybody takes to heart, as many people (including myself) don't feel confident because they're not as good as others' at doing something. I say screw that, be your own person. Are you a better person than you were yesterday? If so, then that's all you need. That's all for this post. Sup ladies and gents, thought I'd get your opinion on the upcoming anime Sewayaki Kitsune No Senko-San. Originally, I started out reading the manga and I can't help the excitement I'm feeling for this show. I absolutely loved it's manga counterpart and can't wait to see Senko-San and all the other amazing characters come to life in the animation. I'm really hyped for this show and can't wait to see it in the form of an anime~! Anyways, how are you all feeling about it??

Zatch Bell doesn't get mentioned much, and not many people actually seem to remember it. I personally never cared for Zatch Bell. The reason is because of how over the top it is, and the main character (Zatch) is pretty annoying, and there's also a lot of annoying characters in it too. Also the anime just has too much humor in it, since the humor ruins many moments that are supposed to be serious.

Okay, so I know this is a pretty broad question, but have you ever watched an anime that managed to just really piss you off? Like was the ending really bad or confusing? Did something about the show seem really cryptic to you? Was there a question that was never answered that really stuck with you? For me, it definitely has to be: Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt! Don't get me wrong, I freaking love that series . . . but did anything seem weird to you? The final showdown between the angels and demons? The way Panty kinda left after being shunned as an angel . . . or could it possibly have been . . . HOW STOCKING MANAGED TO CHOP HER SISTER INTO A MILLION TINY PIECES AND THEN FUCKING REVEAL THAT SHE WAS A DEMON?!?! Seriously, who the hell writes this crap?! You can't just end the series like that, leaving it open for a new season and it never comes! WTF?! That left me thinking about it for months? Stocking . . . a samurai angel . . . who helped Panty, a gunslinging angel . . . defeat Satan and the devil sisters . . . TURNS OUT TO BE A FUCKING DEMON?! smh . . .

Hi All, I wanted to talk about a manga I am really into these days, it's called Horimiya. Which I just realized is the hybrid name of the two protagonist in this story. So cute. Anyways it has 12 books so far. Hori-san and Miyamura-kun the two the story revolves around are in High School. Hori-san is a pretty popular and cute girl while in the beginning Miyamura-kun is a bit of an outcast that no one notices. Both of them have secret identities once school lets out. There are circumstances that lead them to discover the others issues and soon a relationship blossoms. Soon other classmates come into the picture and relationships form and you learn about others along the way. The story is quite charming and cute. It's never boring as comedy ensues and the personalities of everyone open up. I definitely recommend this as a good read and invest in these two silly weird relationship.

Looking for an anime that is much like The Seven Deadly Sins, funny in places, serious in places, good characters with a fantasy or supernatural element. Tend to enjoy watching over powered characters I guess. Struggling as i quite like to watch dubbed anime. I often like anime with a small adult theme / not specifically aimed at children (often find that the stories can be a lot more intricate and intense). Also liked things like Bleach, Naruto Shippuden. Vampire Knight, High School DnD (only explored anime such as this with this title, did enjoy it though, so wouldn't mind others like this). Any kind of recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you!

So recently, I saw this anime. There's this agency that finds out heroes from other world's that have been discarded from their world. This agency brings those heroes (all heroes are girls) to modern Japan and help them get a real job. It aired it's first episode this year, but since then I've completely forgotten about it. So Im looking to get an estimate on the value of these two box sets. Ive only watched fooly cooly 3 times and paranoia agent 1 time. They are in extremely good condition I know a few years ago before the reprints they were worth more but what about now? Not much to say here as I have yet to finish other than Momiji is best girl. Went out of my way to buy the steam profile background for her.
