  5. Alright, so I'm kind of stuck in a bit of Writer's Block right now, and I need some inspiration. If any of you want to give me some suggestions, as far as style, specific instruments, etc., it'd help me a lot. Here are two of my most-recent works: (So, you can hear my style, as of now.) It can be anything. You could link me to a song that you like and I'll try to follow a similar style with my next composition, or if you wanted me to remix a song in my style, that would work too. I'm just bored and I need to work on some music. Thanks in advance. -William
  6. A newly created entertainment agency, 315 Production, specializes in scouting prospective idols who previously held other jobs. 7. Shinichi Chiaki is a first class musician whose dream is to play among the elites in Europe. Coming from a distinguished family, he is an infamous perfectionist—not only is he highly critical of himself, but of others as well. The only thing stopping Shinichi from leaving for Europe is his fear of flying. As a result, he's grounded in Japan. During his fourth year at Japan's top music university, Shinichi happens to meet Megumi Noda or, as she refers to herself, Nodame. On the surface, she seems to be an unkempt girl with no direction in life. However, when Shinichi hears Nodame play the piano for the first time, he is in awe of the kind of music she creates. Nevertheless, Shinichi is dismayed to discover that Nodame is his neighbor, and worse, she ends up falling head over heels in love with him. Source: MyAnimeList

    Nana

Nana Komatsu is a helpless, naïve 20-year-old who easily falls in love and becomes dependent and clingy to those around her. Even though she nurses ambitious dreams of removing herself from her provincial roots and finding her true calling, she ends up traveling to Tokyo with the humble reason of chasing her current boyfriend Shouji Endo. Nana Osaki, on the other hand, is a proud, enigmatic punk rock vocalist from a similarly rural background, who nurtures the desire to become a professional singer. Putting her career with a fairly popular band (and her passionate romance with one of its former members) firmly behind her, she boards the same train to Tokyo as Nana Komatsu. Through a fateful encounter in their journey toward the metropolis, the young women with the same given name are brought together, sparking a chain of events which eventually result in them sharing an apartment. As their friendship deepens, the two attempt to support each other through thick and thin, their deeply intertwined lives filled with romance, music, challenges, and heartbreaks that will ultimately test their seemingly unbreakable bond. 9. Anyone listen to chillpop or lofi music? The genre is like becoming sysnoums with anime...at least if you check Youtube. The thumbnails and gifs all over chillpop and lofi music, and more so much of the music contains quotes and scenes from anime. I love the genre! For me it started with Nujabes thanks to Samurai Champloo, but then I discovered more ambient music like Tycho and somewhere along the line I discovered other chillpop and lofi music. If you have want to listen to some, let me know I'll send you some good ones from YouTube. Also, if you have anything good to recommend please do so!

  12. Hibiki Tachibana has defeated many powerful enemies, saved countless innocent lives, and escaped from numerous desperate situations, but she is currently finding herself unable to escape from her most desperate situation yet—summer homework! Although her high school life is relatively unremarkable, her career as a member of the military organization S.O.N.G. is anything but. Using powerful, ancient armor known as Symphogear, Hibiki and her teammates work with the United Nations to deal with international disputes and disasters.  During a mission briefing at headquarters, Hibiki is made aware of a mysterious organization known as the Bavarian Illuminati, who has been responsible for several major disasters in the past and currently operate in the war-torn country Val Verde. Together, Hibiki and her team infiltrate one of the Bavarian Illuminati's manufacturing plants and free hundreds of slaves. Exposed, alchemists Saint-Germain, Cagliostro, and Prelati reveal themselves as the organization's top brass, and—using alchemical powers—declare a global revolution while sacrificing thousands of lives. Faced with yet another threat to the world's survival, Hibiki and her allies must confront the Bavarian Illuminati in their most difficult and destructive battle yet. 14. (No trailer available, have an OP) Tsubasa Kazanari and Kanade Amou—the idol duo known as Zwei Wing—use their songs to power ancient weapons known as "symphogears" to combat a deadly alien race called the "Noise." While the general public is aware of the Noise's existence, knowledge of the symphogears are kept a secret. When the Noise attack one of Zwei Wing's concerts, Kanade sacrifices herself to protect a young girl named Hibiki Tachibana, leaving Tsubasa devastated and a fragment of her symphogear embedded within Hibiki. Two years pass and Hibiki is once again dragged into a Noise attack. 17. So this one day when I was laying down in my bed, daydreaming, I suddenly remembered about my childhood passion of singing. I couldn't sing then, and now I still can't, but for some reason I had a thing for music, which hasn't changed yet. I was, and still am, the only one who looked forward to our weekly music classes. For me music was, and still is, the key to life. We had an old busted radio when I was younger. Nobody even looked at it, so I was the only one to listened to the 1970s hits. I still remember that I used to sit in an old rocking chair and listen to the radio with a cup of milk in my hands (I was trying to act like a grownup!) while the radio blared some popular 1970s songs like "How Deep is Your Love" by Bee Gees and such. I listened to the oldies back then because I didn't know about the new songs like "Clumsy" by Fergie (it's one of my favorites now!) or "Bad Day" by Daniel Powter (This one's a golden!). But I'll admit that I soon forgot about all those songs after i tasted my first up-to-date song back in 2009. It was "21 Guns" by Green day and I still love the song. After that I thought that the oldies were disgusting and weird. But my passion for music hasn't changed, even though I have a few picks of oldies that I love now and hate the rest. But sometimes, when I come across "It's My Life" by Bon Jovi or "Summer of 69" by Bryan Adams I just can't help forgetting about all the new pop songs. I just sing along with the song and remember all those good ol' days of my old busted radio. My busted radio was just a start, I have a long journey ahead of music me...

  20. If you haven't seen Love Live before, I would recommend starting with the first series School Idol Project. Although the tone of the franchise is mainly comedic, there are plenty of heartfelt moments and deep character development that really make it a great watch. This is a topic about season 2 of Love Live Sunshine and therefore will contain spoilers for season 1. Now, let's discuss the show. Episode 1:
  21. Idol anime typically feature characters that perform beautiful songs with visually beautiful costumes and an underlying story. Some of my favourites include: Love Live! School Idol Project: the story of trying to save their school from closing was rather touching and full of energy. The later title Love Live! Sunshine! though I didn't like much at all - as it was shadowing the original characters way too much.. The [email protected]: I'm still watching this one, and think this is my most favourite by far. Go go 765 Production! The [email protected] Cinderella Girls: the production values in this was better and I found this one quite good, and had a really cute nekogirl but it became rather bleak in some parts towards the end. Surprisingly, some of the themes in idol anime can become a little dark too as the performers are of course still living normal lives outside of their work. What are some of your favourite titles?
  22. Thanks to my boy Simpson for doing an amazing job with RE:CREATORS - gravityWall Opening! It was soo good that I was inspired to use this remix for this video! 24. Herewith my new personal produced English cover of White Reflection sung by roux and done by yours truly to celebrate 20 years of the anime OVA / film Gundam Wing Endless Waltz...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xjt6Dlr5Tow Originally premiered in Japan as a three-part OVA in 1997 that was sung by TWO-MIX, it was used at the ending theme during episodes 2 and 3. Did prefer this song over Last Impression so thought how about it would be great producing a short version English cover to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Endless Waltz in 2017. Did have problems using the original off vocal instrumental so instead used the Super Robot Wars / Taisen Alpha / Alpha Gaiden instrumental and cut it down to try and match to the original short size version. So it is a mix of the original short version and the Alpha Gaiden karaoke short version into one. Feedback and comments are appreciated. And you can follow me via the video to my Youtube profile or links via my profile.
