  4. Really great LN I've been reading recently where the MC gets reborn 100 years later where several historical events have changed from the 1900s onwards. Simple things that Kouki does are always misunderstood by those around him which leads to a lot of great comedy. One of the things that really makes this one shine though is having events rewritten in someone else's perspective, so you can see what the others really think, and not just the MC's misguided view of what others around him thinks. Other than No Game No Life, I don't really think I've read an LN before that has caught my attention enough to actually get me motivated to finish it. 5. Hey All It's me again. So I recently saw the first episodes of some of the shows I've been waiting to watch this season so I wanted to talk about them. I felt they were pretty good and wanted to share. Tenrou: Sirius the Jaeger had a great action packed start. A group of vampire hunters one of them being of werewolf descendant. The show gave just enough story line to grab hold and a cliffhanger start. The small cast of characters seems interesting and can't wait to see where this one goes. Grand Blue reading the synopsis on the site I watch this on I didn't know what quite to except. It just seemed like a slice of life, comedy, romance type. I was thoroughly amused by the first episode. There is a warning of content when the show starts. There is nudity right off the bat (lol) and adult situations that may occur. Including consuming large quantities of alcohol so let the shenanigans begin!! The seems to be a great comedy. Kyoto Teramachi Sanjou no Homes is a interesting one. It's kind of hard to say how this one will turn out. The show mainly revolves around a young man who works at a very interesting antique shop and a young high school girl who ends up working there for reason you learn at the end of the first episode. It definitely has a Sherlock Holmes type of vibe but at the same time not. There is also a cute vibe between the two of them. The ending of the first episode gave the feeling that they would be solving mysteries but I am not totally sure that's all there is to this show. I'm not one to give spoilers are least try not to but I will say that something else happens during the first episode that leads me to believe there will be other interesting things other than solving mysteries. I look forward to feedback or comments as usual. Thank you

  7. So, I imagine some of you are reeling from that poll…if you even managed to finish it. I picked a hard topic to cover this time for sure. Okay, I couldn’t resist but that will be my only pun. A romance is different to every person. Some people have stricter definitions as to what constitutes a romance while others have a fairly loose identity to follow. In my own opinion, harems have substantially muddied the water while other special romance circumstances (incest for instance) definitely pose some interesting moral conundrums. That isn’t to say that other circumstances haven’t posed serious moral conundrums in the past. I, for one, am old enough to remember when sex in anime (especially if out of wedlock) was considered controversial. Let’s not get started on how long same-sex relationships took to become less of an issue across the board as well. So, what does your concept of a romance encompass? Do you have certain things that might make an anime not a romance? How do harems fit in for you? What do you think of incest relationships and what level or degree of incest are you able to tolerate (e.g. cousins but not siblings? Yearning but not intimate?)? I think that incest is definitely more common in the world of hentai, but that being said, harems have a strong tendency to dabble with incest as well. With harems being inserted into more genres across the board, this is an issue that cannot be ignored. Anyone have any thoughts or opinions on that matter? Please by all means, don't be shy in posting! This will probably be my last poll for quite a while but I think that it raises an interesting topic for debate. I can't wait to hear all of your thoughts on this (it is really much broader than I usually aim for)!
  8. I have to admit, I'm a sucker for romances. Give me some of your favorites and I might check them out!

  11. Hey guys! I was wondering if you guys have read 'Sorairo Ageha' by Kumagai Kyoko. The art style is adorable, the characters are heartwarming and the dialogue is often quite funny - since it's quite a short shoujo (11 chapters long) and rather underestimated, I'd really recommend at least having a quick look. I'd love to hear back about what you guys think! For a full review, if interested: https://diamondsintherough805405419.wordpress.com/2018/03/09/sorairo-ageha/
  12. I'm bored right now and couldn't pick the right anime to watch, could anyone of you guys help me in picking the right one? it would be much much help, arigatou!!
  13. Hey everyone, I am trying to remember this anime I watched about three or 4 years back. I believe it was a mecha anime, where the boy gained the power to summon a giant robot by meet this girl. He was very nerdy and week, and I remember in one episode he has a total break down when he comes up against another mecha or something he can't beat. The other few things I remember about the anime is; 1. He's jelaous of his best friend, (I believe the friend dies because of him but am not sure) 2. He is in love with his childhood best friend 3 He falls in love with the girl who gives him the power to summon the mecha 4. Joins a Organization dedicated to fighting an evil organization that can also control mecha's. 5. (This one's kinda weird) I believe it was an OVA or a Filler but a male member of the Good Organization fights a redhead female of the evil organization in a cave. It cuts away from the fight and when it goes back to them it makes it seem like they just got done having sex. (Creepy I remember that part vividly! XD) So can anyone please help me find this Anime?
  14. Hi guise, I’ve been looking for another good series or a movie type anime like perfect blue, something along the lines of monster cuz that shi got me fucked up and I loved it. Please halp
  15. Hi I'm looking for a romantic anime that is not a comedy. I absolutely loved Ef - a tale of memories, and now I'm looking for something kinda similar, although the sequel series dissapoints me. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
  16. SPOLERS AHEAD FOR Shigatsu Wa Kimi No Uso . . . . . . Gosh darn it. I was watching Shigatsu Wa Kimi No Uso, because my friend recommended it to me because its like Clannad, but I could not finish it. Don't get me wrong, it was amazing, the first 10 episodes I did watch. But there were so many hints that pointed towards Kaori dying, that I had to search it up, to see if she actually does die. Well, crap. I can not get so emotionally attached to an anime and have the MCs love interest die!! Clannad made me cry like a baby! I will not go thru that again. I only did with Clannad because I heard there was a happy ending. Does anyone else feel the same way? If you understand how I feel, would you recommend I finish the rest (I really don't like feeling sad)? Lastly, I guess I'd just like to ask for a recommendation or two. An anime the revolves around romance. One where neither the male or female die! Thanks
  17. Been a while since I've posted here. Back again because I value the recommendations of fellow anime enthusiasts (rather than articles), and you guys haven't let me down yet. Lately, I've been viewing lots of isekai, coming upon this genre with KonoSuba. A few series later of similar genre, I stumbled upon Zero No Tsukaima. This is where I rediscovered my love for romantic anime, and I consistently wished they would abandon the story line and focus on the romance between MC and his fellow lady. I'm back again to ask for more recommendations where romance is in great focus, comedy isn't dry, and even some ecchi aspects would be appreciated. I hope I'm not asking for too much Thanks guys, love you all
  18. I've watched a lot of romance animes and I have troubles finding a new one. So if someone can recommend an romance anime that I've haven't watched, I will be very happy.
