I've never used a forum before but I thought I might be able to promote the story I have that might be turned into a manga/comic/animation. I'm not the best at drawing or animating. I don't know how any of this forum stuff works but I would like to meet ppl Anyway, The story is called Telepathic, And here is the plot. In the slums of Detroit, Michigan lives a 18 year old boy named Leo and his deadbeat mother. Leo aspires to be everything his mother is not. He is saving money and doing as many jobs he can so that he can go to a mediocre college and hopefully make something of his life. While working a part time job for a bit of extra cash, he meets a strange individual that comes back the next day..., and hits him in the back of the head with an antique lamp and drags him into a van. The next thing he knows, he's now an inmate in a prison dedicated to creating superhumans to secretly carry out government missions and become machines of war. He endures cruel experiments and operations, gaining abilities you would only see in a comic book, or some sci-fi movie. His cell mate, who supposedly is the first experiment, is as shrouded in mystery as this whole operation. Leo needs to get to the bottom of this, and somehow free himself and every other person trapped here with the help of his cellmate Silas. Sorry if this is super long but lmk if anybody wants more details or if they are interested in my story! Tyy (^o^)/

Hi!! I was researching about the book The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, by Robert Louis Stevenson, and while reading the physical descriptions of Edward Hyde in the book, I was wondering about something. So Hyde is described as "pale and dwarfish", with rough, corded hands, which is pretty straightfoward. But then it says that he has "something displeasing" and "down-right detestable" in his appearance, and that he was giving "an impression of deformity without any nameable malformation". So how do you think this can be translated into anime/manga?

Me and my friend recently watched Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade, written by legendary Mamoru Oshii, which is based on his Kerberos Saga manga and media franchise. Strangely, he didn't direct it like he did Ghost In The Shell (apparently he was so busy working on the latter that he allowed his close protege to do the directing instead). Anyway, after finishing the film, we were left confused with a thought: Was it good? Did we like it? But the more we thought about it, we came up with our own answers: My friend didn't like it, citing that the forced "Little Red Riding Hood" metaphor throughout the entire film and flat characterization for the main characters didn't make him feel invested in the story at all. As for me, I did not dislike it, but I also didn't like it. But strangely, I couldn't say that I did not care for it. In the end, my feelings towards Jin-Roh was that "I wanted to like it". It has beautiful animation, music and overall great production values considering the time it was made and released, and there's obviously deep love and care put into making the movie. However, it is also one of those movies were unless you understand Japanese historical background (in this case post-WWII) and other cultural context not familiar to the western audience, you would be left utterly confused by it. We discussed this together with our acquaintance who recommended for to watch it so he can discuss his own thoughts about it with us: What did all of you think of Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade? Did you understand its message and theme better than we did? Or was it also confusing to you at times?

Spent 1 minute on this story. Don't expect much from my lazy ass.. There once was a very curious shapeshifting kitty whom loved playing with dangerous things. She was so evil that she had to be abandoned and put up for adoption. The pet shop's owner had the mischievous little demon returned to her countless times. *Is awaiting to be adopted by her new owner(s) with a grin on her face* Kitty's current mood: Actual mood:

So I just finished reading Uzumaki by Junji Ito. I gotta say I will not be looking at Spirals the same anymore. But one thing I couldn't help but think Shuichi was like from the very first chapter says let's leave this town. KIrie kept avoided the question and by chapter 18 if I remember correctly she says we need to find a way out. well, what do we have here? I never knew you could make spirals into something horrifying. But Junji Ito made it into something horrifying. Another thing that I am thinking is so the town was basically a ghost town that rebuilds over years and new people come into finding the town but can't leave but make do with what they have. I felt so bad for Shuichi, he wanted to leave but did he know that they couldn't leave the town? I take it probably not. But the time in town vs the outskirts of the town time is way different. I have a lot to say but I I will end on this note, I will be talking about more tomorrow at my manga club on instagram tomorrow. But I just wanted to dump some of my thoughts on this series here. If you have anything else to add please add it and we can keep the conversation going. Shuichi is such a good boy and I love him and Kirire together!T-T

I wanted to make a thread about this anime a few months ago, but I guess I lost track of time. Oh well. The Case Files of Lord El-Melloi II is a direct sequel to Fate/Zero. It takes place 10 years after the 4th Holy Grail War, starring Waver Velvet, now known as Lord El-Melloi II. The Fate series has an Urban Fantasy setting, but so far this anime has more of a Detective Mystery setting, taking place in England. So far, I'm liking it. I like the majority of the characters from the Fate universe, but there's typically not enough material that covers the aftermath of some characters or instances of magic being used in everyday life. The Case Files of Lord El-Melloi II fixes this by focusing upon the emotional impact of Fate/Zero on Waver as well as exploring the potential of magic outside of the Holy Grail War, which is mostly just expositioned by characters in Fate/stay night. If you haven't seen any Fate, the only thing that you'd want to watch before this anime is Fate/Zero. I've heard from some people that you could watch this anime without Fate/Zero, but the OVA kind of spoils some of the events of Fate/Zero. Then again, it's nearly impossible to avoid Fate spoilers in this day and age. I don't know if anyone is watching this, but it'd be nice to hear someone else's thoughts. I finished Episode 0 yesterday, and it felt nice to know that there's still a future for my favorite characters and stories.

If you’ve been following my recent posts, you’ll know this series has become one of my obsessions. The premise is that eight teenagers, (each specializing in a particular genre of online gaming) are abducted and forced to complete a series of challenges which are streamed live. Their masked host informs that they will remain trapped until they can accumulate 100 million views. The things that stand out immediately are the weird setting where realistically impossible things happen frequently and the smart-alecky banter between the characters (kinda like Haruhi Suzimiya). While the initial impression of the series is comedic, the more it progresses the more mystery, suspense & psychological it becomes. It’s becoming increasingly clear that the various characters have their own secrets and in at least one case it makes him/her potentially dangerous. I realize that this series is under most people’s radar. But I think @Castigear has watched a couple episodes & @LonelyPoet mentioned the manga it is based on. I thought I would see if there’s enough interest to justify a discussion or at least recommend checking it out to my fellow forum members because I’m enjoying it a lot. Here in the US you can find the dub on Funimation (the version I’m following) and the subtitled version on Hulu. Let me know what you think.

If anyone needs help with Fanfictions of their own. This club isn't a pairing war at all. If someone needs help. The other club members if they want to help. They can. If someone wants to create a certain dimension number into Doujinshi go right ahead and do it with. If I like it I'll post it as the dimension number.

Hello everyone my name is Julian Barragan but y'all can call me Jubacard here lol. I'm a proffessional filmmaker from Colombia that for some reason decided to start writting a manga lol. I'm familiar with the rules of story structure and I add my flare to it, but this is for sure my first attempt at a shonen format. The lore of the story Centers Around The Morai Agency. They have the job of fixing time anomalies throughout space and time. Matsuko is our rebel member of Morai, and ise, our protagonist is a first semester college student who doesn't know what to do with his life, they meet and go on crazy space and time adventures. It's done in a screenwritting format but with some liberties taken. Every type of comment of suggestion is recieved! thank you! I wanna write as much as possible. If any of you want to draw any of the situations or characters, I'd love to see what this story can inspire. Hey, maybe a collab with someone? Journey of the dimensions Episode 1.pdf

Ok, so this is probably going to sound like me rambling. But what if Shinigami are formed when a person dies from suffering, after causing people to suffer? This would most likely explain why the shinigami look humanoid and (cannonically) have rotten insides. If this is true then the leader of the shingamis (the ‘old man’ as ryuk calls him) is likely the only true god. This would also fit in with the thoery that Light becomes a shinigami after dieing, as he bled out on a staircase, and was you know, Kira. If you agree or have any ideas to add I would like to hear. Thanks -Limbo Bilbo

The Kissanime are most loved movies that numerous people watch. There are specific websites where Kissanime is streamed. The Kissanime site is one such well-known site. You could watch the total scenes on the Kissanime. The Eromanga sensei Kissanime is one such extraordinary series. It is a Japanese light novel drama series that has been composed by Tsukasa Fushimi. It has an entire set of seasons that you could watch with your eyes stuck on the screen. The story here rotates around the secondary school pupil Masamune Izumi. This specific child adores composing light novel books. Be that as it may, he doesn't have imaginative expertise, yet there is one individual who encourages him to compose his books. It is his mysterious accomplice under the pen name "Sensei," He has an energy for composing stories, and he likes to get assistance from his obscure accomplice. Later on in the last piece of the series, he becomes more acquainted with that his sister has the entire lifetime helped him with composing his books thus he is extremely thankful to his family. In any case, Sagiriis disconnected naturally; she isn't excessively mingled. You could watch the Eromanga sensei Kissanime on the Kissanime site. The site demonstrates every one of its recordings in the top notch quality. The quality of the recordings is from 360P to 720P. You could likewise observe every one of the scenes of the Eromanga Sensei seasons. The scenes are additionally subbed in English so you won't run over a dialect barrier. Viewing the anime seasons on Kissanime is fantastic.

I'm getting way ahead of myself I see. Still, I'm hyped up at the fact that as each day passes it's one day closer to Autumn. I can't stand Summer with its humidity and heat, so like a bad breakup I'm done with that season. Bring on the cool, crisp air and colorful leaves because this girl needs her hoody weather! Oh and let's not forget the most important (and my personal favorite) holiday known to man, Halloween. I'm ready to dust off my spooky movies while brewing some pumpkin spice coffee and sitting down under a warm throw blanket, waiting for trick or treaters to come by the house.

While not exactly earth-shaking news, this makes me happy nevertheless since this one has been kind of hard to find online.... http://www.crunchyroll.com/hyouka

Hey All It's me again. So I recently saw the first episodes of some of the shows I've been waiting to watch this season so I wanted to talk about them. I felt they were pretty good and wanted to share. Tenrou: Sirius the Jaeger had a great action packed start. A group of vampire hunters one of them being of werewolf descendant. The show gave just enough story line to grab hold and a cliffhanger start. The small cast of characters seems interesting and can't wait to see where this one goes. Grand Blue reading the synopsis on the site I watch this on I didn't know what quite to except. It just seemed like a slice of life, comedy, romance type. I was thoroughly amused by the first episode. There is a warning of content when the show starts. There is nudity right off the bat (lol) and adult situations that may occur. Including consuming large quantities of alcohol so let the shenanigans begin!! The seems to be a great comedy. Kyoto Teramachi Sanjou no Homes is a interesting one. It's kind of hard to say how this one will turn out. The show mainly revolves around a young man who works at a very interesting antique shop and a young high school girl who ends up working there for reason you learn at the end of the first episode. It definitely has a Sherlock Holmes type of vibe but at the same time not. There is also a cute vibe between the two of them. The ending of the first episode gave the feeling that they would be solving mysteries but I am not totally sure that's all there is to this show. I'm not one to give spoilers are least try not to but I will say that something else happens during the first episode that leads me to believe there will be other interesting things other than solving mysteries. I look forward to feedback or comments as usual. Thank you
