i've been trying to find the name of this anime for years and its killing me. please help...

when i was a little kid i stayed up WAYYY too late. and adult swim came on. i changed the channel because i was a good kid and was told never to watch adult swim. well the problem is, im also very curious. so i changed the changed it back to see an anime show with a girl that was half naked transformed into a spider-like monster with long legs walking through town and breaking building and stuff. i finished the episode and thought it was the coolest thing i'd ever seen. please help me find the name of this show. it was probably around 2004 maybe 2003 or 2005 on adult swim if that helps. any and all help appreciated :)

Hey there @VinniePaz I used to watch adult swim during those years... Can you describe the town a little? Was it feudal time setting, futuristic time setting? Anything you can remember about the setting will be helpful.

Fits the profile kind of for Inuyasha. Don't remember the name of the arc, but it sounds like it fits the time and description of the show.  Everything else I can recall from that time on Adult Swim doesn't really bring to mind anything like that - and I used to watch it almost religiously.  Inuyasha started airing just before adult swim switched to it's format of airing anime solely on Saturday's too.

the town/city was modern her legs were black, and i think the main protagonist was in the process of stopping her

So I've been working on a chatbot based off of Nezuko from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. I think she's a fascinating character, and I want to give fans of the anime and manga the chance to talk to her since she doesn't talk too much on her own. Currently, I'm in the training phase so I've been programming her with questions users may or may not ask her. The only problem is I'm only one guy and I'm out of ideas of things to talk to her about, so I'm looking for community input. Keep in mind, she won't just be pre-programmed. She's going to be a mix of programmed responses and machine/deep learning based AI so she will, in essence, have a mind of her own.
If you had the opportunity to talk to Nezuko, what would you say to her or ask her? It could be either questions or topics you'd want to discuss with her.
      Thanks!

I hope I'm doing this right :3 Just finished Hakuouki Movie 1, and wow! It was pretty darn good! Now I want to see the series it's based off of! And the other films.

I won't got into to much detail until the discussion starts, but I really liked characters. I also thought the atmosphere was really well developed! The pacing wasn't too slow, or too fast, so it was pretty easy to follow what was going on (though, the large cast made it a bit hard for me to remember everyone's names XD)
Did anyone else have a chance to watch it today? What are your thoughts?
