Optic
This is for general discussion of Photoshop! To start it off.. Today I scanned this nice pose of Uzume Tennouboshi and adult Neptune from my newly arrived Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II calendar.. But the colours looked a bit neutral to my liking, so time to do some colour correction. Normally I use Adobe Fireworks but I keep telling myself I need to use Photoshop more since they're no longer actively developing Fireworks.. so opened Photoshop up and found a nice feature in Images -> Adjustments -> Selective Color. Tweaked the reds, magentas and blacks to try and make it look more vibrant. Here's the end result: I think it's a nice improvement! Thought it might be helpful to know. Feel free to post any other Photoshop tips, projects or questions you may have. 1 2

Malice Mizer
I suck at using photoshop, so many buttons and options... I currently use Gimp, its like photoshop but with less stuff, it gets the job done. Try giving it a try if you havent, its free.
Gregory Armstrong
I can't reveal my tricks... Jk, I'm not very good with PS. I struggle with making backgrounds, so tutorials on that would be appreciated. Anyone know where to buy a good brush set for backgrounds? The default set is not that good. :'(
