I have a question is  runescape easy and better to play on the phone or PC? I was going try the old school version again. Also is it free or no? Its been many years I last played it.

For some aspects you will find mobile is preferred. If you are skilling doing something idling (woodcutting, fishing, crafting, etc), these type of AFK skilling a lot of people preferring to play on mobile. For bossing or raiding and doing tasks for training combat stats or slayer most will prefer the PC. Many prefer PC over mobile for clues and quests because the Runelite helper beats all.

My preference is playing on PC with Runelite because of the plugins for Runelite making the experience much easier. If I am bored and away from PC maybe waiting around for someone I will play on my mobile to pass the time. There are many who all only play on mobile and do fine. It depends really on if you are use to play games on the mobile or the PC and your preference there because each has different aspects that are better for doing certain things.

It is free on the non-member worlds which is better to starting out on. There are a lot of f2p quests to do and you can advance your skills far enough along to then decide if you want to pay to play. Pay to play offers more areas, skills, pets, bossing, raids, clues and many other fun features of the game.

Thank you for the information  and help about it. I really appreciate it and it makes sense. Take care ~

No problem. It's a really fun game to play if you want to pass the time. It can get addicting however.

I think Pessi gave a pretty good explanation between the two. I think I pretty much agree with what he said. There are some things I like to do on the phone like woodcutting or idle skills, some functions are easier on the phone like dropping things and certain commands but ultimately I think nothing beats playing it on the computer on Runelite. Since Runelite has so many helper features on it it's kind of the best for playing it and the Runelite client is only available on the computer.

Me personally I like the computer better for the fact I can also see it better xD

Was wondering if I should play old school RuneScape or RuneScape

I think it depends on a few things such as what graphics or skills you like. Runescape3 has different skills than normal Old School Runescape and it's mostly pay to win anymore. The graphics are way better in normal Runescape. Most people play Old School Runescape for the nostalgia as its closest to the way the original game was. The graphics are meh but if you play on the Runelite client it has an HD plugin that makes the graphics as good as on Runescape 3.

Personally, I've never gotten into normal Runescape once it changed so I barely know much about it and the few times I have played it I just get confused but I think it's more a game for newer players still whereas Old School the XP grind still takes forever, nothing is pay to win, and things are overall a lot harder than on Rs3 lol

They did increase pet drop rate for when you hit 200 million. At 200M you are 15x more likely to get the pet dropped when speaking in terms of skilling pets.

Or try slayer to 200m.

For Runescape is it better to get the paid version or stay with the F2P version ? I could get it yes if I wanted to the membership,  however it is still pricey.  What does everyone here do, just curious? More or less in the long run is it worth it paying for membership?

C'mon slayer is fun, it's just combat with a goal 😆 If you do a lot of tasks in multi-combat areas you can use Ice Barrage and kill multiple at once time and breeze through it.

In non-members you only get access to a few cities on the map, limited quests, no access to raids or bosses, limited to non-member items which aren't many, not a lot of bank spaces, and only some skills.
In paid membership you get access to skills such as Construction, Slayer, Herblore, Fletching, Farming, access to the full map, raids, bosses, dungeons, all of the quests, all items. In membership there is really more to do. Non-members is meant more to be a trial to see do you like this game and want to play it more and to maybe level some skills in level 20s and 30s while getting an idea of how the quest system and combat systems works. That is really what this non-members is for just a trial of the game to decide and learned a few things.
If you decided you liked it and get membership it opens up many new things to do in game and it is a lot more fun with many mini-games, quests, and skills to train. I have had paid membership for almost 20 years since I was very young 😆

I see thank you for the information about Runescape It helps me get a better understanding of it. I played Runescape a very long time ago back in 2000s just a little though. I did F2P since I'm not rich, heh and still ain't. Ah well that's life or adulting for you.  I'll start free for now to get to know it again. Thank you again ~ @Zeref

I would recommended that to start in F2P before playing in members you may not like it and waste some money. Membership price recent went up. If you have any questions about starting or playing the game I am happy to help.

Everything @Zeref says is on point, he should know, he works for them lol ~ I recommend the same thing, trying it out in non members before paying for it because you never know you might be really bored by it.

I see well I'll start playing the old school runescape soon. It's  just hard to decide what I like to play at the moment first. True it could be boring though for me I always loved it even if I'm not the best gamer out there. I played it a lot back in the 2000 - 2006 when starting high school too.

Good times before that at the public libaray ~

Old School is based on the original RS2 from 2002-2006, if you liked it before you will likely enjoy it again. A lot has changed however with new armor, monsters, bosses, quests being added all the time. I think the additions have made it more interesting and evolved into its own game now that has the nostalgia of 2006scape but morphed into its own game.
