So has anyone else noticed that magical girls suck love out of the universe and turn it into a force of pure destruction?

It depends on the Magical Girl, they don't always do it.

Which ones don't do it? Card Captor Sakura has a whole card deck full of evil demons who tried to kill people on a regular basis.

They've been the the future. Sailor Moon will eventually conquer the entire planet as our unquestioned overlord. I seriously doubt our government for one said "A cute blond wants to be the ruler of the world? Sure. No argument there."

Magical Do Rei Me are witches and got into it because they crossed an easily annoyed witch.

So what magical girl doesn't use the power of love as a weapon?

Ah, but they use the power of love as a weapon to defeat the bad guys by driving the evil out of them.

You might want to rewatch that series. I think you might be miscounting or misremembering the number of cards with homicidal tendencies.

Like which ones?

Just about all of them. The watery card IIRC does try it's hard at drowning someone IIRC. The jump card makes a really bad attempt at attacking Sakura. Other that that I can't think of any that made a serious attempt.

Wait, did you just watch the AMERICAN version?

Was the Erase card even in the 4Kids dub?

I don't know, I never watched any of it.  I saw a couple of short clips on YouTube and that was enough to convince me that I didn't want to see any of it.

I think I saw a small clip of the dubbed version once. I stayed well clear of it though as it sounded like a travesty. The original is a classic though.

Anyway it's odd that so many magical girls came back from the future and distinctly tried to kill Sailor Moon before joining her side.

Also since she's in charge then, how do you think she got the job? Did everyone just bow down or did she have to kill her way tot the top?

Donald Trump: I will not bow down, to twin tailed terrorists from Japan...
