The flowers png with it matches very nice. 1

Ahhhhh so pretty Love the background it's very simple but very nice, I often prefer simple to complicated and crowded bg's anyways ~ I like the flower border png too really suites it well ^^ I actually just started to try to re-watch this anime this week. I'm really upset though because I watched the 1998-2000 version when I was kid, and the version on Crunchyroll is some kinda 2014 redo and the voices are different, the names are different, I don't like it all and I can't find the original 1998-2000 one anywhere /sad 1

The original version is available on Blu-ray from online shops like Amazon and Alltheanime.com. I've got the Blu-ray set and it's excellent.

Amazing work, I usually don't see people incorporate a lot of renders like this but it looks very well put together.

I think that must be it, because while I was very young when I watched it the first time, I don't remember it being anything like what I was watching this time. The theme song was wrong (I searched ahead on other eps thinking maybe the song I remember is on later shows), the names were wrong, they were pronouncing things like "Clow" differently than I remember, and Sakura's voice was horrendous. I know she's young in the show but I don't remember her sounding THAT annoying and whiny. I felt like I was experiencing some heavy Mandela Effect type things I started questioning my entire sanity and memory. I did check and it said made in 2014 so I was like huhhhh.. I guess they did a re-do. I absolutely hate it. I guess I'll have to buy it if I want to watch it again because there is no way I can watch whatever that monstrosity is. Animedragon
@Sakura, out of curiosity and interest I watched the first episode of CCS on CR this afternoon and found that it's the original Japanese version. The main giveaways are the correct opening song "Catch you, catch me", all the episode titles starting with "Sakura and....." and the original Japanese character names, Sakura Kinomoto, Tomoyo Daidouji, Toya Kinomoto etc. So the version you saw when you were young was most likely to have been the Nelvana US TV dub where they changed the episode running order and titles to remove Sakura's name and changed her name to Sakura Avalon, while Tomoyo became Madison Taylor.

CCS is the best Like my sister I also watched this show when I was little but I liked Meiling Li and Eriol Hiiragizawa the most out of all the characters. Back on track.. Cute GFXing It suits Sakura and looks great.

Whatever I watched was airing in the late 2000s and yes the names were Sakura Avalon and Madison Taylor which is what I remember. I was very young when it was airing on TV here so I don't know what version it was but it was the one I was used to and I can't find it now. Watching anything else feels weird to me since that's the one I grew up on

You might be able to pick up a copy in ebay or somewhere, but it may be a bootleg copy from there. The original will certainly feel weird as they made a few changes to other things besides the names.

At least now I know what it's called so maybe I can actually find it lol
Animedragon
I did this last night but I'm not really happy with the way it turned out, I feel that it's missing something, but I'm going to post it anyway because I spent a lot of time on it. 1 2

The helmet in the middle matching the bg pattern perfectly makes everything look like it belongs together. Have you ever tried or thought about using drop shadow effect to make the renders stand out on the bg instead of flat?

Ofc I love it automatically it's Kiri x Asuna lol ~ but I think it also looks very cool as a large art 3 hours ago, Sarada said: Have you ever tried or thought about using drop shadow effect to make the renders stand out on the bg instead of flat? Animedragon
Good idea @Sarada and @Sakura. So I tried adding some dropped shadows in various colours and sizes and thought this one worked the best. 1 1

The girl is Misuzu from Air, she has a thing about dinosaurs and had a T-shirt with a stegosaurus on it so I thought the dinosaur fitted on the sig featuring her. wildberrydraw
Hey, how ae you doing? Check out this trick to imporove your designs! Remember that the basis of the composition are 3 shapes, different in size - large, middle and small. There can be more shapes, depending on the tasks of the composition. But even a large number of small shapes should be placed in large silhouettes of shapes that will be easily read by the viewer. Usually the smallest form it is the center of composition. I hope I explained it clearly. You can read additional materials on the topic of composition in design, if you are interested, since composition is what makes your work interesting or not so interesting. I have prepared a small example. Look at it and analyze what order of shapes seems most successful to you. I love that your designs are improving from post to post. Keep up the good work. I hope my little secret will help you enjoy the creative process more! P.S. Try to avoid decisions where two identically sized shapes start to argue with each other for dominance of the composition.

It adds a nice meaning to it when you add thought out things like this which are special to the character being used.
