Favorite and least fave subjects from school?

I didn't like Physics very much or Chemistry for that matter. Science of any sort was never really my "thing". I did however enjoy Biology, but that was mainly because the Biology teacher we had that year was very engaging and taught it well which can make all the difference.

As for favorite I would have to go with Math or History. I can't say that I really enjoy Mathmatics but I have some natural knack for it so it was at least easy for me. History is interesting to me as well so I at least enjoyed listening in that class.

That's fair tbh it DOES matter who is teaching something and their method of teaching. I've had some teachers explain things to me that I do not get at ALL but then someone else can explain or teach it in a different way and it just clicks right with me that time ~

Exactly right. Some teachers have a better way of explaining things that just specifically works for that individual where other methods may have not. It was like that for me in many of the classes I didn't like. When I'd find a different way of having them explained sometimes that would help immensely.

I disliked just about EVERYTHING about school!!

Top of the dislike list was gym, I'm not good with heights so the climbing frame terrified me, then there was that box thing that you were supposed to jump over, I was that guy who tried and ended up plastered against the side rather than going over it. Fortunately my friend a I convinced the PE teacher that we were keen and running and were able to spend the PE lessons out side running round the local streets. Next up on the list was maths, numbers are not my friend and I don't understand them! I did enjoy art and craft and I still have several of my pottery creations in my house, I might take a pic of them and post it here.

I totally agree with the comments made earlier that a lot depends on the teacher and you'll enjoy and engage with a subject more if you have a good teacher who is really interest in the subject and can impart that enthusiasm into their students, sadly none of my teachers were like that.

sorry but I have to be funny, your avatar is a dragon which flies in the air..... r u afraid of flying in the air?

Yup. my avatar is a dragon because I really like dragons and I have lots of them in my room, and a lot of my social media type places have a draconic reference, but there's no way I could ever be a dragonrider 'cos I really don't want to ride on or in anything that flies. 😁

Favorite art, who doesn't love art?! (~ ̄▽ ̄)~
Maybe some people hate art actually idk no judgement ('ェ') I love painting, drawing, calligraphy or anything art related and I took advanced AP art in high school. I still take an art class now that I'm in college but it's more of an elective type of course and not something towards my career path and I take it for enjoyment.

I like social studies too even though many of my friends hated this course the most ಠಿ_ಠ learning about people and culture, civilizations across time is something I've always had an interest in (◠‿◠✿)

Least is... about everything else! ●_●

There was a year I took Spanish because I had to fill a slot with an extra class and I hated this. I was also learning English the same year and learning another foriegn language probably didn't mesh well in my head. I nearly failed that class and was the only class I ever got bad marks in.

My second language is Spanish since it's my mom and dad's first language and I learned it at home prior to ever learning it at school, but I took it in school because I thought oh haha this will be so easy, I already speak Spanish fluently ôヮô This will be the easiest course I've ever taken! ........ o(╥﹏╥)o so so very wrong. It was hard and ended up being one of my worse classes! I felt embarrased taking my report card home to my mom and getting C's in Spanish she was "How are you failing Spanish you are Hispanic! We speak Spanish! OHchalala how can you do this?!" and it was horrible ಥ_ಥ

English is my first and only language but my school teachers didn't think I was good enough at it and wouldn't let me sit the English exam, I think it was because I didn't understand all the fancy stuff like nouns and verbs and such like, but I always did well with the practical stuff like comprehension although I've never been good at spelling so spell checkers on the PC have been a real plus for me. I think my spelling has improved a bit thanks to the spell check telling me how words are spelt.

School was hell for me and I thoroughly disliked every single second of it. It’s hard to enjoy or have the drive to learn anything when even the teachers make you feel like an outcast.

My favourite part of school was graduating and never looking back.

There’s a community theatre in the school I went to and a couple years ago we saw a production of Sleepy Hollow, which was fantastic, but that was the first time I stepped foot in that place since I graduated and it was a horrible experience. As soon as the play was over I had to leave immediately.

I guess if we look at my post-secondary education (I did aircraft maintenance), my favourite class from that was composite structures (fibreglass, aramid fibre/kevlar, stuff like that). And my least favourite was tools and hardware (This is the first class in the program, where they make sure everyone knows what tools are and all the multitudes of different kinds of shit like nuts and bolts and fasteners and part numbers, etc, mostly was my least favourite because I already knew almost all of it, but I can also appreciate and understand why it’s a class.)

Spell check saves lives!! 🤣

We had a home economics class that was my favorite class even though this has nothing to do with what you would usually consider school work. It was mostly cooking, baking, sewing, learning home skills and I enjoyed doing that.

In my main courses I was never top student and I was usually in the low B range, which isn't terrible, but I just didn't enjoy any classes.

If we are talking general education classes:

My least favorite subject in all of my schooling grades 1-12 and even in college was mathematics. I was suspected to have dyscalculia by middle school. Even now, I must have a calculator for nearly every single math problem I need to solve.

My favorite class was probably English. I didn’t like reading aspect of it but I enjoy writing. I’m good at it.

If we’re talking electives:

My favorite was Digital Media. It was all about learning how to use video editing programs, filming movies, and things of that nature. I remember the final project we had which was filming a thirty minute movie, editing it, and presenting it to the class. It was wildly fun working on it. Also, the teacher was super chill and allowed me to eat my breakfast in class.

My least favorite was jewelry making. I had fun making the jewelry but the teacher was one of the rudest I ever had.

My favorite class if I picked one was math and least english. I just didn't like to write things and numbers made sense.

Oooo dyscalculia is a word I'd not heard of before, so I Googled it and I think I've got something like it as I just don#t understand some things about the way numbers work, and yes I need a calculator for everything but the most simple and basic maths problem, and often I'll use one to check if I've worked it out right.

We didn't have such things as electives, and digital media wasn't even invented back when I was in school. I would have really liked to have done something like that in school. But I'm making up for it now and enjoy making videos for my YT channel.

Is theater a class? :V I took it at school so I'll count it. I also liked geography and law studies. Hated gym and science. English was easily my love hate relationship. I took sign language as a language study in school and it was my favorite of all time because it was something I already knew :V

I still take classes in it but I let my fear of maybe not being good enough at it take over and I didn't major in deaf studies. I don't regret it because I like what I'm studying now and as long as I can continue to take classes in it I feel okay about that decision. I use sign language often because of my own hearing not being very good but I use a hearing aid and I can also pick up most things.

As long as you're truly happy with what you're studying now, I think that's all that matters.
