We all started out with that one game that got us hooked, mine was left 4 dead

What was yours? do you still play it?

Some random online games, don't remember the names, because that was like 12 years ago. Early, don't you think?

Bubble Ghost, on Commodore64. It was... not... particularly... good. I also had other awesome games like Space Invader, Defender, Centipede, Millipede, and... and... that's about all I can remember. It was a bit pathetic, but thankfully my family was able to get an NES for Christmas in 1989.

... yes, my earliest memories are all about video games. v_v

Technically the first game I ever played was Pacman on the Sega Genesis, but the first game I owned and played was Tomb Raider on PS1. Still love the series to this day! <3

For me it was Pac-man back at the arcades, My dad and I would always play to see who would get the highest score, and he'd always beat me. It was a lot of fun though.

My fifth game was pac man and I also played it with my dad....he was pretty good at it but one day I had enough I learned a risky pattern that will only work to keep yourself alive not get you points...and I demolished his high score.

I want to say it was Golden Eye for the N64. My earliest memories of games were Golden Eye, Pokemon Blue, and really old Madden games so it was one of those.

Golden Eye was definitely the gateway drug to all the FPS games I still play though. The original Halo too.

Well my first console was the Atari 2600. I don't remember which of the games I actually played first but it was probably pac man, dig dug, frogger or asteroids. I remember those were the first games I got with it.

Aladdin for the SNES. Got me hooked on the challenge of beating the game. Also played lots of Super Mario World on the same console, but really it wasn't nearly as challenging as Aladdin was. Grr. Really it wasn't even my own console; it belonged to my cousin, so I only got to play when I was at her house in Laguna Beach. Otherwise I was stuck playing the arcade machines at certain places in town, my favourite of which was Mortal Kombat. The first video game I actually owned was Pokemon Blue, when I got super-spoiled one year for my birthday and my mother bought me a GBC. <3

The first game i played was The legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time

You are one lucky soul. OoT introduced me to some serious emotional conflict in gaming and while it seems silly now, consider that I was only eight years old when I first beat it. Oh, also, I'm scarred for life because of that game. Thanks, Dead Hand.
