existentiallylostdumbell
Do you ever look back and think the people you were are total strangers? It's difficult to even empathise with them sometimes they are so strange.
Popular Post Spectra
I have to look pretty far back to experience this...it's been a while since I was a teenager. I still have a lot of the problems I had as a teenager - they're the kind that, unfortunately, will probably never go away - so when I think of what I used to be like, I can still relate to that to a degree. But some of the attitudes I used to have...yeah. I was not a very nice teenager. I don't think I'm particularly nice now, and my worldview is even more bleak and bitter, but at least I don't take that out on others the way I used to. I grew up a little, I suppose? I dunno. I don't honestly think it's worth looking back at who I used to be. What I need to focus on is who I am now, who I want to be in the future, and closing that gap. The less I can empathise with my past self, the better.
Kohloo
I'd probably beat the snot out of my younger self. I've grown though and I don't bother looking at who I used to be. I'm more focused on who I am and who I have yet to become 3
RyePotatoes
Well, let's admit. People change and I'm sure we all hated our pas versions and that's kind of one of the reasons why we change. If I was totally a stranger with my old self I wouldn't like her and I still do
