I get it that it has some soft yaoi moments (very little) but seriously it's not even close to being an actual yaoi anime or manga. People see the very short and few intimate moments and scream "yaoi"! and that's all they get from it. All fighters develop a close relationship with their sacrifices; I mean they kind of have to have a bond otherwise they can't be partners. However it isn't love nor lust.
It's not even softcore yaoi. The manga artist even stated that both the anime series and manga weren't and it wasn't her intention to make people think that it was.
I'm sorry but this has been bugging me for years...
Hallo, forum users. It is I, the wonderful Bernkastel!
Wait, no one knows who I am?
Well, I'm an anime fan. Yes, I know, I'm really starting with the big revelations. Anyway, some anime I like are Mrs Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, Death Note, Shiki, Hellsing Ultimate, Gurren Lagaan, Nichijou and Girl's Last Tour. I have read some manga, though I'm not much much of a manga reader. The last manga I read was My Lesbian Experiance With Loneliness, a number of months ago. I have been meaning to get around to reading the first volume of Scum's Wish. I like visual novels and video games. I also write occasionally. I have done some fiction work (points towards sig).
So, any questions?
