EnviousEnvy
Haven't played any console, PC or switch games at all this weekend due to having to finish Christmas shopping and wrapping them up. I have played some mobile games like Word Villas and Dream Girlfriend for lulz.
SerpentGod
I just beat Crush in Spyro 2. I'm currently playing it on an emulator, and playing the game takes me back to a better time in the late 90's and early 2000's.

Beocat
Well, I've started up a new Sim on Sims4 since I got the GetFamous expansion pack on sale. I'm an awful person....even my husband thinks I'm terrible. So, I made her a starving actress wannabe....noticed that vacant lot in the valley looked like it really was missing some burning barrels... I ended up having her dump 10k on it (mind you she only started with 20k), then instead of even trying to build a house, I dropped a tent, cooler, campfire and camping chairs down and then built a little 3x3 shack to hold her valuables (like a computer). To solve the bathroom problem, I put an outdoor showerhead on the backside of the shack and a toilet...then threw up some dividers and a few trees behind it all to hide it... a clothesline and laundry bucket completed the scene... It actually looks like it belongs on that huge lot. I'd throw up a screenshot but everytime I try to attach one tonight I get an error message. Anyways, I feel bad that's she's so poor...her bills are only ~$300 and she's only got around 72 dollars to her name but eventually she'll ascend to fame and leave all this behind...right? Still, I put the poor girl in a tent...and she doesn't even have indoor plumbing.... >_> Yep, I'm a terrible person. That said, her lack of belongings and comfort at home has me sending her out into town for things...so she's not a shut-in like most of my Sims end up being at least! There's that, right? LOL....silver linings.
EnviousEnvy
Ace Attorney (Switch) Currently in the middle of episode 2. Became Maya's attorney after finding out the one who was supposed to be declined. Now finding evidence Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth (PS4) Doing some side missions to level up my ranking. efaardvark
While attempting a Mün landing, I forgot, er, I mean the landing gear deployment malfunctioned and the main descent engine was destroyed upon touchdown. Unfortunately this meant that Valentina's biome-hopping, science gathering mission was limited to just the initial landing zone. Thankfully the damage was limited to the lower section of the descent stage however. The ascent module's engine was intact. After planting the flag and collecting what science she could from the immediate area around the landing site, Valentina was able to use the ascent stage as planned to return to Kerbin and splash down safely. Kohloo
Haven't played anything yet today, but lately I've been working on a criminal mastermind in The Sims 4. He's quite a fun one to play!
efaardvark
Playing around with a design for a "tramp steamer" cargo ship. It has a crew of 4 and can haul 30 passengers and 100 tons of fuel. A bit beyond my tech level at the moment, but I'll get there eventually.
EnviousEnvy
Witcher 3 (Xbox One) Doing a replay of this. Got all the DLCs and expansions finally so I can play those now too. ESO (Xbox One) Just recently got back into this game. I'm still lost as ever, lol. Digimon Story Cyber Slueth (PS4) Another game I forgot about and just happen to come across on my shelf. So trying to finish this up.
EnviousEnvy
Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4) With the intense back pain I had this morning I didn't feel like doing much of anything. Decided to replay RDRII to help me focus on something other than pain. Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth (PS4) Played a couple hours of this game as well. Did a few side missions and completed chapter 6 earlier today.
EnviousEnvy
Ancestors: The Human Odyssey (PS4) Downloaded the game last night but didn't get a chance to play it yet due to it being so late. Hoping to dive into it this weekend since where I live is supposed to get hit with a massive snowstorm.
efaardvark
I noticed that a 1.15.2 (snapshot) of minecraft is available. This of course meant I had to start my traditional "hardcore" game. And pretty quickly die. Also a tradition. However, this time I found a nice village early on. I was able to rework it, fortify it (the new raiders are troublesome if you don't), and get the population up to about 25 villagers before I was caught in a fight between an enderman and a golem. efaardvark
Checking out Planet Nomads today. It recently achieved v1.0 - with the inevitable post-release patches it is now at 1.0.6 - so I thought it was probably a good time to give it another look. EnviousEnvy
The Sims 4 (PC) Finally installed Tiny Living and since I'm home with a swollen tooth I'm probably gonna spend a few hours building a bachelor or Bachelorette pad. Jurassic World Evolution (Xbox) Got sent home from work due to a swollen tooth and could hardly swallow. Played this off and on today in campaign mode. EnviousEnvy
Persona 5 (PS4) Finished up Futaba's palace and worked on Joker's relationships with his friends. Sims 4 (PC) Played a few hours on this. My sim is almost finished with her 2nd term in college. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm (Xbone) Beating missions and collecting secret scrolls. Did I ever mention how much I hate battle conditions in these games??
efaardvark
Building in Planet Nomad. I get so distracted building stuff that I forget to actually play the game. The only time I even look at the mission objectives is when I need to unlock a part to build with. I'm like that in other games like Kerbal Space Program too. The only reason I do contracts is to have $$ to buy parts to build stuff with, or to get science points to unlock more parts to build better stuff with. EnviousEnvy
Haven't done crap for gaming lately. Been too hyped up for the new Animal Crossing game.
efaardvark
Doing a bit of exploration in Planet Nomad using my self-built VTOL aircraft. Exploring is my next-favorite thing after designing/building things. I'm exploring.. prospecting actually, trying to find a mineral called "xaenite" so that I can make a super-alloy so that I can - wait for it - build more stuff! EnviousEnvy
Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth (PS4) Did all of the side missions leading up to Chapter 7. Legend Of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch) Restarting this game on the Switch for lulz.
EnviousEnvy
Red Dead Redemption II (PS4) Saved Micah's butt from jail, got drunk with Lenny and did some hunting for the camp so they would have food. Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch) My dumba** decided to delete my save so I had to restart the game (wasn't too far into the game thank goodness, lol. Still annoying though). efaardvark
Noticed today that KSP recently got another update. The "breaking ground" DLC got one too. Downloaded and installed both, but I probably won't play it any time soon. Even if I do find time that I can "waste" on games then I'll probably work on my planet nomads game instead.. at least until all my usual KSP mods get updated for the new version. The major focus of the KSP update seems to be mostly visual - texture updates for the surfaces of planets and the space ship parts that you build with. Supposedly there's a frame rate bump too though. I might take a few minutes to do some quick, unofficial benchmarking with a couple of my ships with larger partcounts, just to see how noticeable any performance gains are. EnviousEnvy
Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch) Trying to get to the 4th shrine without freezing to death. Also played it on the TV today for the first time in months so I keep pressing the wrong buttons on the pro controller which causes me to fall off cliffs and plummet to my death (RIP Link). Beocat
I've been playing Skyrim on the PS4 nonstop for nearly a couple of months aiming for the platinum. Before I played it on the 360, and then on the PS4 only with mods so I had a clear free start. I've been trudging through the thieves guild questline for what feels like forever. I never did the thieves guild or dark brotherhood before but it seems you have to be a bad guy to get trophies in Skyrim so I'm doing it. They are very involved questlines.... anyways, I think I might finally be getting close to the end. It won't be long now.... then its off to do the war, then the dovakhin questlines, then the dark brotherhood. It's fun but everytime I think I'm close I find out that I'm not lol.
efaardvark
Built a large air-mobile "base" in Planet Nomad. Being able to move around is very helpful (thus the game's name) and breaking down and moving my base all the time was getting to be a hassle. I tried making a wheeled base but .. mountains, and rivers, and trees. This still isn't something I can rely on as my only transportation since it is too slow and can only fly for about 15 minutes per day before it has to land and recharge, but it does make moving easy when I've cleared out an area of resources or the action moves so far away that travel to/from the active area starts to dominate gameplay. I've built in provisions to upgrade the propulsion system for faster, longer flights once I get some advanced power generation going, but for now this will do nicely. At least it beats having to clear trees for the rover. (When I wasn't having to winch it over a mountain, out of a ditch, or across a river...) Here's a pic of it landed on the shores of a lake, with an alien spacecraft on the other side of the lake. (The black ball with red lines, my next object of investigation.) Note the smaller craft attached to the top of the base. That's the VTOL craft I posted previously. It is much smaller, faster, and has much greater range but it can't carry much cargo or any of the heavy equipment that I have at the base. I use it for scouting and only move the base when I have to.
