What Did You Do In Gaming Today

So… I haven't picked up a video game in a hot minute. Maybe two months? More? Been so preoccupied with more reality-based ventures I just don't even think about them at all. I used to be such a competitive soul. T-T But yesterday I broke the cycle by downloading Red Dead 2 on PS4. I love it so far, it's been helping me survive the unpleasantries of having a cold all week (added to the funsies of early pregnancy yay.) Admittedly I haven't played so far into it yet simply because I have to pause the game every 20 minutes or so which makes my pace a bit sluggish. The gunfights though… mmmm. Shooting a gangster from the back of a horse while galloping blindly downriver has never been so satisfying.

Today I accepted a contract to make 3 thrill-seeking kerbals pass out from G-forces.  This could be fun.  Muahahahahahahahaha.   :D

Hmmmm.. don't know if I can do it yet with the parts I have tho.  I'm still pretty low in the tech-tree in this game.  I haven't even been to the Mun yet.  Maybe I should do that first. That'll get me some money and science.. science to unlock better parts, and money to actually build the deathtrap ship.

Pokemon Let's Go Eevee (Switch)

Been playing this off and on all day. Haven't been very interested in games lately because of work so when I come home all I want to do is relax on my bed and watch Netflix.

Today I sent Jeb on a Munar flyby.  Landings are a bit tough early on so I didn't try that.  Without a tracking station upgrade just getting to the Mun is tough, and the early landing gear parts are .. dangerous.  They're ok for low-mass robot probes, but they tend to break when I try to put them on larger stuff like manned (kerbaled?) capsules.  At least with my landing(?) skills.

When Jeb got back he even gained a level!  Only level 1, but I'll take what I can get.  TBH I'm just happy when the rocket makes it to orbit and doesn't explode on liftoff or have some embarrassing malfunction like the 'chutes deploying when the second stage ignites.  :D Not that that's ever happened to me you understand.  I just, er, ... saw it on a youtube video once.  Yes!  I saw it on youtube.  That's my story and I'm sticking to it.   😇

Well, nothing! I blew the dust off my ps2 cause I was in the mood for some King of Fighters, so I hit the power button, the light turned green, but the disc didn't spin. Sad.

Damn! Brought back some memories there. My friend and I used to sync up(or whatever it was called back then) on Game Boy Advanced back in seventh grade history class.

Yes Mario Kart 64 is my favorite game in the series second only to super mario kart for SNES.

The Sims 4 (PC)

Just got a crap ton of expansions, stuff and game packs that I didn't have (been a bit behind, whoops). I've been focusing on building for a few hours and haven't gotten a chance to delve into the gameplay yet. Hoping so sometime this weekend.

Akiba's Trip (PS4)

Took a nice long break on this game after rage quiting a few months back. Finally got past one of the missions that I kept dying on.

The Sims 4 (PC)

Been building crap as well as households and uploading them to the gallery.

That's about it right now. Haven't really been in the gaming mood.

Skyrim (PS4)

Did a few main story missions for Daphine.

Akiba's Trip (PS4)

Did two side missions and a story mission

Mass Effect Andromeda (PS4)

Just restarted this game since I only completed one actual playthrough. Even though this game gets a lot of hate, I actually like it.

Akiba's Trip (PS4)

Finished the main story of the game. I enjoyed it a lot however the only downside is that after beating the story they don't let you go back to do any of the side missions you haven't done yet. Instead after saving they allow you to fully customize your character and the game restarts from the beginning with your new character. *meh*

Shinobi Striker (PS4)

Beat a few missions and unlocked a butt load of new merch. Didn't do much on this but did play for a couple of hours.

Played a little indie game called "Manual Samuel" yesterday, expecting it to be some adventure game with choices like The Walking Dead or at least interactivity, but it turned out to be this really annoying game where you have to control a character using a very awkward set of keys on your keyboard. And when you start the game for the first time, guess what the important message you'll see is? "This game is better with a controller." Yeah, that explains it. A PC game that works better with a controller.

Anyway, it's short enough that I managed to complete it and forgot about it. It was okay, and the comedy is... passable, I guess. It's the sort of 'quirky' humor that hipsters like to describe indie games with. You know the kind. Undertale-ish.
