 Hola! Como estas? ^.^ Nice to meet you
I am a semi blind, clinically depressed, (SFW) Artist from the Caribbean region, who recently turned 27 a few days ago ^.^"
I've been drawing for 15 yrs - (10/12 traditionally and the last 5 digitally since I went to Uni and "upgraded"), 
and while I'm more known online for creating Manga OC Art, I also create stuff like Portraits, Abstract Art, 3D Objects, Nature Illustrations, Logo designs, Beaded Jewelry, Vector Resources etc. 

In my spare time, I do enjoy taking amateur photos via my mobile phone, I like colouring people's linearts digitally, and doing film/media research such as watching non commentary gameplays via Youtube. 

I do speak alittle Spanish and Japanese from time to time also, cuz sometimes writing in English all the time gets erm...well boring really.

im semi intrigued though, what does thou art mean by "semi blind", unless its what i think it is, being that not wearing glasses leads you to see'ing mosaic japanese ***'s, ?

incidentally, since you are an artist...@FinDee-sannn~, cometh thee, for i summon thee in ATTACK POSITION ~! (thats a joke, dont kill me)

i feel you and him would get along, as both you're arts are pretty damn amazing, so jelous-inducing, so... "crys"

Lol, you speak kinda funny o_o I know it's Shakespearean/Old English, but I could never really understand nor appreciate it  in today's Modern World, mostly cuz I don't have patience for my brain to process it <.<  It's just not my thing.  But thanks for the welcome still

EDIT: Semi blind means I'm see blurry and require surgery to fix it - but I'm not gonna do it cuz I'm afraid AND cuz it's super expensive in my country. My 3rd reason for not doing it, cuz of how I do my art. I like showcasing how I see lighting etc through my eyes, while at the same time proving to people that they can still make decent work that doesn't always have to follow the norm,  despite having a disability. It gives people hope.

Thanks. I originally joined here, for when I decided to launch my Art Request and Trading Service Event. I'm still making preparations for it - (one of them being joining as much Social Platforms as possible so that I can reach out to as many people as possible, so they can access the service and not miss out if they're interested.) The last one I did was about 3 or 4 yrs ago. I'm hoping to launch by this Dec, since last Dec I was unfortunately ill for while and needed to focus on fixing my health first.

EDIT: Erm.... are replies in a single go, supposed to be merged like this? It looks alittle erm....weird to me. Normally most forums post separate quoted replies, so the person can individually reply back. Not sure about this one o_o

Yeah, still wanted to be considerate, cuz there are some people on the internet (like my haters/trolls/stalkers), who go all "tldr" when they see me posting a wall of text and s**t  - especially when they ask me a question and waste my time being rude in the end - sigh.

well, i talk to him allot, and his pretty fun to talk with xD, atleast, him and alu-chan are the ones i talk to most in this site...and maybe archie, and and and "exaggerated heavy breathing" there's also brycec-senpai, being serious but also being jokey, drill-sempai who i talk to about FEH (a gacha game) and and and and "continues to blab on"

ah, the eye's require surgery, so most likely cataract ?,  (i mean, cataract is the most common reason for vision block/different color seen if im not mistaken ?, i am no expert tho~), well ill agree that it is scary, and that expensiveness is also no bueno, but you're last statement it being a hope for other disabled people, is just "clap clap clap"

i am of motivated to do more arts now, atleast to improve on drawing now >:o (i-im not disabled but i-i can join in right ?)

edit: yep, its to prevent "multi posting"/ "spamming" if im not mistaken, kind of effective if you ask me, it wont merge if you wait up like a minute or two, but after the 3rd post itll still merge with previous 2nd post no matter time span (at the very least, from my experimentation on PM's, thats what it does)

Yeah, I tend to be picky/choose-y with people I interact with tbh. While someone might find someone eles to be "amazing" and what not, I may not think the same, and vice versa in the situation. That's just life in general....

Anybody can draw if they want to. You need no permission to do so if you wish. Only time you need permission is if you're using someone eles's work to help make your own and they have copyright rules and stuff.  (But most people are cool if you just ask to borrow their stuff and credit them back.)

well, you meet people aside from them ofcourse~, the one's i stated are the one's i got along well with~, im sure you will find someone else, which may or may not be the same individual's from the once's i stated~

ah, i see, its not cataract, but the other known one, astigmatismn, (i actually forgot about it till now), i myself am short sighted, but nothing a good old glasses wont fix, though i still tend to not wear my glasses at times, as i feel i can still see well..even though everything's mosaic without my glasses

yea, but people who cant draw well, tend to give up early, or try harder until they catch their style, but i dont really meet allot of artists/know allot of artists, to know what im saying

but it is true though, and i highly agree on the bolded font on the quote, if you borrow any artwork, and or use referrence, its a must to give them credit where its due~

it doesn't really, i think, i just joined last 4 months ago, but the forum was very quiet then, but i did see a spam? thread a few days back, it was instantly removed though.

With my kind of  luck, I usually do get haters/trolls, no matter where I go online or in real life and based on my observations, they're usually white Americans, followed by locals from my own country.

After 8 to 10 yrs of being online I started noticing this "raising/continuing" trend,  and I don't know if it's cuz I'm mixed race/coloured, or cuz of how I look or if it's cuz I'm female and decide to have a voice of my own or if it's cuz of my art, or if it's cuz of how I have preferences or what , but It's always something that "these people" have to be "triggered" about, enough to type out their dictatative views on my Social Accounts, on what they think I should and shouldn't say or do.

It got so bad, that I used to think that I was being specifically targeted, every time I posted something online, so I started screenshotting comments (before replying abd blocking them - and even went as far as pulling people's IP addresses, emails, etc, just to find out where they live and what they look like, just to back up my views)  - and then trump won and we got to see that it's black/coloured skin people in general who face that kind of issue everyday - (so now I don't feel as bad...but still it's a problem) - especially when you point it out and try to explain your life experiences, even go as far as showing people your evidence and people quickly jump on you to label you as being racist. Like I fail to see how me talking about a demographic that often targets me to harass me on my account via PMs or my profile, (when I post art I worked on or say my point of view based on my experiences in a forum)  or when they spew hate propaganda  (when I don't do that to them), makes me a "racist." Like how does that even work??? It's 2018 and I'm still trying to wrap my brain around that one o_o

 

I know right. I used to get them occasionally on Devianart. (before it used to be Youtube,)  Some guy would ask me why I did  or said something and I would give them a full and very detailed explanation and they're reply back "tldr" - Steups. I usually cuss them out and block them after that. I don't mind if you're asking questions to satisfy your curiosity (cuz you want to learn/understand), but it's not ok to waste people's time, just cuz you want a "reaction" for your entertainment or you want "info" to use to trash talk the other person, you know what I mean? 

Also it's 2018, How come Trolling/Harassing/Bullying still exists??? I don't get that either, especially when people talk about it, and clearly point out that it's negative and not ok to do to anybody anymore.

People like to preach, but oftentimes they don't put into practice what they preach. Everyone has to look good nowadays, eh?

AMEN! I thought I was the only person who thought that,  - though mostly that idea usually comes about when someone who can't draw or doesn't draw well or even to my level or higher, comes on my account to criticize my work.

My belief is if you personally have a problem with my work, then you should take it and make it the way you want to see it - ie put your money where your mouth is, (rather than babble) - otherwise leave me alone and let me do what I want to do, despite being half blind suffering with depression. 

Course when I use this approach, people (mostly teens and young adults)  attack me even more and say how I'm "not a professional cuz I don't accept critiques" and how "I would never improve without critique"

I don't believe in that. I find you should have a right to make your own decisions on how to look - (especially if you're an adult) Other people shouldn't be dictating others just cuz they have issues.

Yeah, but it's all good though.... Now I just use the bs as fuel to make certain types of art. Last yr I got so mad, I started making a F**k off art piece (first img) It's not done yet. I gotta go back in and work on shirt, add some wings and roses etc and then apply colour to it. (And yes, it's a self portrait lol.) But I first, have to finish working on my BD Art Gift (second img) I work on it when I'm in the mood lol.
