Find me a romance/action series where the romance actually goes places and the show has an ending.

Question

Mouthful of a title, but there you have it folks.

Extreme emphasis on the "romance going places" and "actually having an ending" things.

By "romance going places" I of course mean, that if the show brings up romance, it is to fully go places with it, be it a confession and a response to that confession, a kiss, full relationship, whatever works, just seriously do some romantic progression that doesn't go as far as blushing sometimes and then ending suddenly, with every possible romantic moment getting ruined by some crappy trope.

By "actually having an ending" as simple as that is, I'll explain anyways. I mean that it doesn't cliffhang. Every point that the show brings up should come to a proper conclusion, no loose ends, or at least, nothing important. If they say "We're gonna go kill the demon lord!" well I swear if they don't actually kill that demon lord I'm gonna bash some skulls ('-' )

Anyways, if the show doesn't have both, don't even 'maybe' it, I most likely won't give a damn lol

In all honestly, I'm mostly asking so I know some stuff to dish out on a whim when other people ask for that recommendation, since it's rather common in some other places on the internet where I come from, and turns out I only know a small handful, one of which is a mecha, and those get a ton of hate for no good reason.

But seriously, no 'maybes' e.e If you go "well, this has romance that cliffhangs but it's rly gud!" I will escort you to the door and feed you to my alligators.

I will not bother to check your MAL because I'm busy or really lazy right now.

  1. Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun
  2. Ao Haru Ride
  3. Blood+ (I guess)
  4. Romeo x Juliet
  5. InuYasha
  6. Castle in the Sky
  7. The Devil is a Part-timer

Spoiler alert: I'm pretty sure none of them have proper endings. Well, no romance anime do!

But try Romeo x Juliet, it is sort of action-y. And I'm actually very (politely) surprised that you haven't watched InuYasha. It's actually pretty famous, y'know.

I'll probably watch then both eventually, issue is I know how Romeo x Juliet ends for obvious reasons, and Inuyasha is just too long for me currently.

@awesomedude20 oh, so the action element is not required. That broadens things for me.

No, I'd prefer action to be required, they just said that romances never end properly and that bugged me so I listed a ton that do lol.

Though thinking on it now, I guess I wouldn't mind some more pure romances really. So long as they end lol
