Fantasy and adventure anime that is also funny?

Looking for an anime that is much like The Seven Deadly Sins, funny in places, serious in places, good characters with a fantasy or supernatural element. Tend to enjoy watching over powered characters I guess. Struggling as i quite like to watch dubbed anime. I often like anime with a small adult theme / not specifically aimed at children (often find that the stories can be a lot more intricate and intense). 

Also liked things like Bleach, Naruto Shippuden. Vampire Knight, High School DnD (only explored anime such as this with this title, did enjoy it though, so wouldn't mind others like this). 

Any kind of recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you!

Here are a few that may be right up your alley that are fantasy and in my opinion quite hilarious for one reason or another.

Vampire Knight, Blood Lad, Spice and Wolf, Wolf's Rain.

Now there are also a couple I want to mention that may border on more spitural rather then fantasy, but since in pop culture these are often woven together rather well I thought they'd be worth mentioning.

Inuyasha, Blue Dragon, Black Butler, Zatch Bell, Yu Yu Hakusho.

Now these on tthe bottom half on the list I personally would not classify as fantasy at least not pure fantasy. Though Asian mythology tends to incorporate things like dragons knights and other mythical creatures into its spiritual historical records. Therefore these creatures which are viewed by pop culture as more or less fantasy like deserve a mentioning here. I did want to seperate these lists though to be sure you had a solid just fantasy list.

I would suggest Dragon Ball (the original series, not Z, GT, or Super), which would fit pretty well.

I would be kind of iffy on Spice & Wolf though. It is set in world that would be considered fantasy, but it is closer to the realistic realm than fantasy.

For something similar to Seven Deadly Sins, I would recommend Akame ga Kill. A word of warning, even though it has some humorous elements, it can also be extremely violent & dark, but since you said you were looking for adult themes as well I think you might like it.

For something lighter but still with some serious story elements, try Soul Eater (not Soul Eater NOT)

Finally, one of the "classic" series that fit the humorous fantasy genre is The Slayers. Although there is a greater emphasis on comedy which is frequently goofy or slap stick, each season does have a serious big story/villain that becomes the focus as it goes on.

One more I’ll mention in case you haven’t seen it is Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. Although it is mostly serious, it also has some funny moments and characterizations (I have to believe that  7 Deadly Sins’ Escanor is related to FMAB’s Armstrong lol)

I was going to edit my response, but I think I will just make this a new post, so it can be found easily.

Another series that I think would fit both the desire for humor and a fantasy setting is The Legend of Legendary Heroes.

The comedy can seem cheesy and/or rely a lot on the cliches, but the humor is done quite well, and it has one of the best final confrontations I have ever seen.

The only real negative about the series is that it does not really have an end, because if feels like it was only made to sell more light novels, which have not been released officially, at least where I live.
