Loved tons that I can't name off the top of my head. But ones I'm loving right now are
Vinland, Demon Slayer, Bleach, black clover(7/10 tbh)

Also watching one piece, but im not that much of a fan, 5/10 for me. I just wanna watch the part where luffy hits gear 5. Show feels like it has too many fillers.

Started with dbz as a kid, I low key watched Sailor moon a bit, and shows surrounding dbz, and also watched pokemon when I was maybe 12(32 now). After that I didn't touch anime until my 20s when I got bored and caught up on bleach and Naruto which I binged like crazy.

Loved death note, dead man wonderland, bleach, Naruto, dbz, vinland, demon slayer, one punch man, my hero academia (until it started to suck after season 1/2.) Princess mononoke.

Liked a lot i don't remember names of.

I hate anime that does too many gags, that seem to not put effort into being unique or good, got to have a good soundtrack. Like bleach, I prob wouldn't like without its soundtrack.

  1. Yes I've seen and enjoyed it, and yeah I agree, to Me 2nd season was to circle back to his father's message. It's a lot like your kid, you tell them don't do this, and they do it anyways, go through all this crap and when they're older they came to the same conclusion their parents do. When his dad died mixed with him living on for revenge and his desire to go to war, i KNEW that he was gonna grow up that way and think, I should have listened to dad. I've done it myself but not to a murderous rampage sense lol. Those shows sound interesting. And about gags, it's really more of the cutesy childish stuff I don't like. If the gags are funny and vulgar I love. But not too much where it ruins story lol. Like 7 deadly sins did gags right for me
  2. I've seen that too it's good. I think I just burn through far too many shows since I get a lot of down time. I've been watching Tokyo goul today and it's pretty good.
  3. I noticed I haven't seen people talking about Vinland. It seems soo good to me between the graphic quality and thick story and it's somewhat based on actual events and people (loosely). Also been watching demon slayer, mash(it's ok), one piece(mostly hate but time burner)
  4. I'm here just looking for new anime and looking for people with similar taste. I left some ideas of what I like on my profile. About me, I drive trucks, and got fat sitting on my butt all day, but after driving 10 hrs a day working up to 14 plus hrs a day I use to relax by gaming. I no longer enjoy gaming but I still enjoy a good story anime, or any show tbh. Anime just seems to be better at delivering new ideas/thick stories. The only game I play right now is wild rift, clash, random dice but those are really meh. Before driving trucks for 9 yrs, I delivered medical equipment, retail stores and was in the army for a year and a month before I got kicked out. Was 18 when I joined and lacked life exp, so in it I found out I didn't really like being forced to do things I didn't want to do, like waking up early am, or staying awake in a chair for 24 hrs staring at a wall trying not to get murdered for passing out asleep(SUCKKSSS), and I HATED to run which is why I got kicked out, failed the running part and didn't care to pass. It did have stuff that I loved in it like the funny stuff that ALWAYS happened, the training etc. Was like a roller coaster ride I didn't really want to be on. If you haven't noticed, I'm unnecessarily straight forward, partly cause I mostly don't care what others think, and i feel brutal honesty opens me and others up to grow. And for some reason I like throwing myself under buses to see what happens. Maybe itl entertain me.
  5. I like action anime, I LOVE a good well made story, if I had to describe what I like using anime, Vinland for its story and visuals, and it's ability to get me absorbed into it and the characters, while also not feeling like an episode feels like a filler. Loved Deadman wonderland for its twisted reality, while also maintaining some normal archetypes to keep it from feeling insanely twisted. It rides the line for me and somewhat can go over that morality line but justifies it with its plot. Kinda like a misunderstood character you start off loving to HATEEE like neegan in the walking dead(I loved to hate him then they developed him to not be as evil, although he was clearly a bad dude he was just twisted by the world he had to adapt to) loved bleach for its soundtrack. It did have fillers but they weren't as bad as one piece fillers to me, I skip the 1s that get too stupid. I think because of soundtrack I viewed it as a 9/10 when without it, it probably would have been a 6 or 7. Good music selection makes a BIG difference when selling a vibe. (Dbz as a kid did this to me which is what sucked me in mixed with freeza arch plot, now listening to it, it's like meh) Seven deadly sins, naruto(all around good, soundtrack, graphics, thick story, only cons was fillers and it drug out too much)I do like the romance in some anime but it's more like the stuff in Naruto, sword art online. Not a fan of rom com, but there are sometimes genres I normally wouldn't like but the show was soo good I somehow liked it anyways but it's super rare. If anyone read this wall, I am sorry. I'm just desperate to find an anime I can binge. I drive 18 wheelers, I no longer enjoy gaming and need a really good show to binge, I just can't find one. I feel like I'm too picky and wish I could be satisfied with just any anime, but with all shows and movies now I need next to perfection/something unique and entriguing.
