Hello, a friend of mine watched an anime film about 2 years ago and can't find the title but it's a style that I like and I'm quite curious so I've been looking for the name of the anime since several months already
She doesn't remember everything but here are the scenes she described to me:
Anime (probably films) black and white in the style of Junji Ito, a child is with his mother but it is in extreme poverty. The child sleeps with his mother. The child has to leave for a reason (she no longer remembers why) but when he returns his mother is dead and rats were devouring her dead body, especially her private parts. The images were detailed, for example, the mother's organs were clearly seen. The child finds himself alone and decides to join a circus troupe. In this troop, all the members of the troop have something extra, extraordinary things too. Everything was black and white. She remembers a lot of disturbing things happening but she can't remember exactly what.
