  1. Yes, its really stuck in my mind! I've tried several different animeforums, both Swedish and international, and have gotten quite a spectacular response with many suggestions but nothing really matching my requirements. It has been a quest now for several years to find an answer and hopefully I'll get it sometime, however if not, it will forever stay on my mind as one of the most astounding visuals of my childhood!
  2. ok, I'm on the look for a particular anime cartoon which must be from the 80s or possibly 90s. it was a trailer fo a show,my parents rented a VHS back in the early 90s and I don't even remember the main feature of the VHS but it had trailer for other shows in the beginning. this one has been stuck in my mind ever since,I must've been 5-6 years old and the only thing I can remember is a very particular but spectacular scene. it is a girl standing on a piece of land,I think she is waving, int th background it might have been a tree and/or a house but the most remarkable thing about it was that she was floating in space! the only reference I can think of that scene in Darren Aronofskys "the fountain" when Hugh Jackman floats around in space with like 'the tree of life' in a bubble. it was like that, but a much smaller piece of 'land'. as I've mentioned, I was only 5-6 years old, I night remember it a bit different but I'm pretty positive it was a an anime cartoon show/movie because I distinctly remember the art style which was very compelling and unique at that time for me. I'm frol Sweden and we didn't have much of that back in the 90s.anyway,I've been searching forever in different parts all over the internet and gotten many suggestions of what it could have been, neither one have turned out to be the correct one I'm looking for. so that is why l joined this forum in hopes of a different turnout and hopefully an end to a lifelong search for this thing whic has been stuck in my head for the better part of my life thanks in advance for any valid suggestions! 3. Hi! I been searching for years, literally years, for a show or movie. When I was very young we used to rent VHS tapes from a local store in my hometown in Sweden. It was usually he-man, thunder cats, dino riders and your typical 80s 90s animated shows. All these tapes had a few trailers in the beginning of other shows and there was this one trailer I just couldn't shake off my mind. A was just a little kid then - in the 90s - and had not been able to find it since. The trailer consisted of this (or the little I can remember): A girl standing on a small piece of "earth", only big enough for her, behind her I think there was a tree and she might have a pet dog or cat beside her. The background is just black space with tiny stars. The scene is very reminiscent of an episode in "The fountain" (2006) in which Hugh Jackmans character floats through space in s kind of "orb" thing. but like I said, it must have come from the 80s or 90s given that all the tapes there were from that period. And I'm pretty sure it's anime or at least very similar to anime. Very detailed and cool That was a style that you remembered being a kid in Sweden and I think the only sort of anime show I watched was Robotech. I've tried numerous searches on the internet, contacted a bunch of anime forums in Sweden, i even asked chat gpt recently but the closest I ever came to something was a show called "Akazukin Chacha" which looked a bit like I remembered my show/movie, but I haven't found the scene that I described. Maybe it is in there somewhere, chat gpt said it was a "theme" of that show; floating islands in space. So if any of you have any information I would very, very much appreciate it!
